Okay, so a bit of news that I'm excited about.

I will not be going to Vancouver as fresh from school as I thought. Instead, I am going to be working for a hotel in Jasper, and I will be living on-site for at least six months. I cannot wait to see what I'll learn, and what I'll be able to accomplish here.

...I'm getting closer to graduation from the Culinary program, as well as my self-appointed moving time to Vancouver. I am getting more nervous, but more excited for it. I cannot wait to feel the moist air again, to be located in the city, and to show more of what I can, and want to, do.

I know I don't have a lot of watchers, but there's... something I'm curious about.

The few that know me know that I am a junior chef. I want to practice more, but I don't really have anyone to cook for that often.

However, I am interested in doing a livestream for you guys online... Thoughts?

Also, what program would be best for this? Livestream and Join Me are the only two that I know of/about.

I'm already amazed as to how fast four months has gone. My baby girl is gone, and I am here in a little place called Kamloops. I've been enjoying my schooling so far, and I've met some local furs, and people. Though, I somehow feel like something's missing. I feel, somehow, that there's a disconnect between myself and others, and what I want to do and what they want to do. Perhaps, it's simply a matter of myself wanting something, and the other people having their own agenda. But... It's getting lonely, being forgotten.

Or, at least that's how I feel. Pardon the little rambling.

Pardon me. This might seem a bit... ramble-y.

I'm sitting beside my best friend. She's been with me since we took her home twelve years ago. She was a puppy, who immediately ran into the living room to pee. After cleaning up the mess, we were fast friends.

Odd way to start a pet/owner relationship? Probably not, but I digress.

Today, I have to put her down. The appointment is a little less than an hour away, and I'm conflicted about how I feel. I know it's her time. Her back legs have gone out, her breathing is laboured, and she has been refusing some food and water.

I'm remembering how I basically grew up with her through my preteen and teenage years. I have a lot of memories of playing with her, of just talking with her when I've needed an ear (whether or not she understood me), of her 'singing' with me when I'd play my saxophone.

..Nn.

I'll miss you, girl.

..and my goodness, do I love it! Only the first post, and I already have a review lined up for it.

It is a food review and recipe blog. Not only will my visits to restaurants turn into reviews from an apprentice's point of view, but I will post different techniques and ideas on there.

Although I am extremely excited, I cannot share a link, quite yet. This site has my real name on it; I don't share it easily by posting it online. However, if enough people ask me to post a link here, I will... :P!

Until then, I will start writing a short story.

So here I am at work, typing this journal out on my 3DS. I have been pondering what I should submit here, for content. I tend to be the kind of person that creates something, but hesitates to put it up, because I do not think it is good enough. So, I have not posted anything past the first story! Gaaah.

Anyhow. I have bumped into a couple people, lately, that have got some creative juices flowing. And, reading a touch of Graveyard Greg's work has given me a better idea how to post.
