Relaxing with an old Hobby
Posted 5 years agoHeya one and all. Noticed that my journal hasn't been touched in over a year, so I figured I should go about fixing that in some way.
So needless to say it's certainly been an...interesting start and progress into the year with everything going on in the world. The good news, so far, is I have been keeping healthy and with active social distancing. Then again, been doing that quite well being a video gamer who is also a slight introvert ;P However, I do intend to keep it that way as best I can, and hopefully to anyone reading this you also stay/keep healthy while adjusting to everything.
Coincidentally, this has really rekindled a hobby of mine that really revived itself in me last year. This year it's sort of taken my passion by the reigns and that's board games. Now, I don't mean Candyland and the kids ones. I mean the more complex and involved ones; such as Gloomhaven, Eldritch/Arkham Horror, DnD, Pandemic Legacy (yeah the irony), The King's Dilemma (gave it a try and it has me interested) and more. As a couple of my friends will say, I do tend to bring them up...often (Sorry guys X3) But, it's something that I find entertainment in. Living and somewhat being taken away from reality to another world and just having fun usually sells me on most things.
Well, just shared my two cents on a random topic. Got nowhere else to really speak my mind so may as well be here.
Hope you're all well!

A Year in Review - Was a good year!
Posted 6 years agoHeya everyone :) I hope everyone has been doing well and that the holidays have not only gone smoothly, but continue to do so as we approach the end of 2018. It's been a while since I posted a new journal so I thought I'd post this. Been sort of wanting to as the thoughts were standing out lately. So, if you're interested in a slight read, then let's begin!
As the title said, I found this year to be good. It was busy though in a variety of ways. The big one for me was a family wedding that, every month and step of the way, had some level of 'stress' that was hitting my family. While it didn't hit me as it hit others, it began to make me the focal point of 'calmness' for everyone to rant about anything. An odd position to be in, but I do silence pretty well, including moral support. Thankfully it went without a hitch and was a fun celebration.
Activity wise, I feel I did pretty decent in getting some ideas created. First, I want to thank every artist who drew my ideas/commissions as I still appreciate the work and results made by you all. Not sure if any of you will read/see this, but thank you again :) Looking back, I was able to get one done a month, which for me I think is a good track record.
Sadly I have experienced one major blemish on the commission aspect thanks to one artist who, if no results happen in the next month or two, I am going to have a slight confrontation with since it's been a full year and I've not seen a single line drawn. Also, the artist continues to take on more commissions and seems to be doing those ones pretty quickly versus the list of names (myself included) waiting on the sidelines. More on that later as it develops, but it's the only hiccup.
Next year though, I do have plans. Big ones. First off, I want to get others included in my ideas/commissions so it's not just a solo act. I have some friends who I already told I want involved, but it's one thing I'd like to have done more frequently. Plus, there is a series I want to see made and if it is possible, would be the biggest treat for me to get done. I am browsing around for artists to possibly do them all, just it's not always easy for timing (or finances XD)
Lastly, I finally have been getting back into one of my bigger and re-growing passions: board games. I've always enjoyed tabletop games of all sorts and this year I really dove back into it. I play both in person (if solo is possible), but I mostly use Tabletop Simulator on Steam to play with friends. I've found many mods of games of all sorts on there, which is awesome! That being said, not sure how many out there are board gamers, but if that is something you enjoy, this fox is open to join/teach. (This is mostly based on timing with my job as well so bear that in mind ;P)
That's about it really as I think about it. Everything else throughout the year was either working, playing games here and there (which I was able to beat quite a few...one of my better years as my friends and stream audience would say) and just getting by. That being said though, I'm curious to hear what you all have for thoughts as well. Specifically, about image ideas you'd like to see Daryl in or might have had an idea of if I were to get a commission. I have my ideas, sure, but I've heard others that really latched on and had me wanting created as well. Now, I can't necessarily do all of them, but if an idea stands out, it's not completely out of the question. So, let me know!
With 2019 just a couple days away, I am curious to see how it will go. This year was busy, the year before was just a slight bummer...so this year I am hoooooping it will be calm...? Or at the very least good again. I hope you all have a fun and enjoyable New Year's Eve and hopefully an even better and enjoyable start to the new year! Make sure to take care and enjoy yourselves! =D
*waves to all who read this far* See you all in the new year and maybe off with a bang! =3

Birthday Fox
Posted 7 years agoHey hey everyone. I hope everyone is doing well, especially with how that flu has been bouncing and travelling around. I just got over it a few days ago myself and it was a weird one to say the least.
Well, another year has come and with it I am made another year older. Which...ironically I don't FEEL older compared to a year ago. That's good in my books! XD I do not want the day to come where I actually feel old XP
I'm off to work here, cause the world demands I have to make money! BUT! You all take care and hope you all have a good day and rest of the week!

Commissions
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone.
So over the last month I've been thinking over a possible decision. I've had a couple people asking me if I was open for commissions and while I was touched to be asked, I never really opened to do them just because I never felt my skills lived up to that sort of standard. A couple of my friends said otherwise and that they were, but I just held back. Now though, I thought it over and I'm willing to give it a small chance or at least open it up for anyone interested.
So with that said, if there's anyone who is interested in a commission of some kind you can pass me a line and I'll see if it catches my eye. I know that sounds off putting, but the big thing for me is that I can get behind an idea and feel involved in it, while having fun. So, details are welcome and the more you can give, the better!
Price: $40 US (this is a flat rate)
What I will do:
Inflation
Fattening
Micro/Macro (haven't done it, but willing to try)
Popping/Non-popping
Vore (the light version)
What I won't do:
Scat
Waterworks
Gore
Vore (permanently eaten)
Baby/cub stuff
More to be added along the way
Other facts/details:
At most I will take up to 2 commissions at any given time. Since writing stories takes a while, I don't want to make people wait forever.
If anyone is wondering about my writing style, I use details and my works show how much details I put into it. I always try to create a story where the reader can see and feel what I am imagining in each piece. My works also show the general length of what I make. At a bare minimum I write 10 pages, but this usually stretches up into about 14-20 on average, depending on content and theme.
Also, I will allow up to 2 characters to be involved in a story at no extra charge. After that it'll go up by $5 for each new character.
So I think I got everything needed in terms of details and my conditions. I've never done this before so bare with me if I overlooked something. Also, please understand above everything else, I do have a job and life and they keep me occupied. I always focus on my projects when I can, but motivation and time can affect the speed of my progress. I don't like putting a weak effort into my pieces and I'd certainly not enjoy doing it to any of you. However, I will always give weekly updates so you know how things progress.
Thank you for your time reading this and take care everyone!

A Smashing Success!
Posted 11 years agoYup, I got me some Super Smash Bros on my 3DS! So if anyone wants to have a round, go a round...or just become round (Ha HA!) then all I have to say is....bring it! =3
And I guess toss whatever codes I might need to make it easier to do so! See you all in the ring!
*Proceeds with the first fight....trying to remove the damn cellophane from the game*

Doing a meme as a mindless drone
Posted 11 years agoBut we all know we have fun with it. Or at least we TRY to have fun!
1) Tell you something I learned about you by looking at your FA page for 10 seconds.
2) Tell you a color you remind me of.
3) Tell you my first memory of you.
4) Ask you a question.
5) Tell you something I like about you.
6) Tell you the object that is in front of me.
7) Dare you to do this yourself in your own journal.
Everyone probably knows the drill so...there it is!
Now...back to work with me. The week is continuing to be occupying. One day I'll be back to answer!

Mario Kart 8! Wahoooo!
Posted 11 years agoYup, I got it as well and I have to admit, this one is a lot of fun. Definitely more interesting from tracks to overall fun factor.
But, with that being said, if there's anyone who wants to race or is looking for someone to just race against, give me a shout!

Posted 11 years agoI know this is a bit late in the day, but I hope everyone has and had a nice Christmas today ^..^ Hopefully bellies are full, the chocolates are aplenty and the day proved well for you all! I know mine was!

Posted 12 years agoFrom the slowly freezing north, hope you all have a good Thanksgiving! I had my meal today, only because my schedule worked for that, but to everyone else hopefully you can stuff yourself proper!
I realize most also don't do this until next month, but I get to eat sooner than you, so HA! >=P
Now...time to rest this off...*slumps back with a nice full belly*

Sega + Atlus =
Posted 12 years agoUncertainty.
So I got told interesting news today from my sister that Sega had gone and bought Atlus. Needless to say this caught me by surprise and had me off on some CSI styled investigations. Turns out she was right. Sega is in the process of purchasing Atlus' parent corporation, known as Index Corporation.
So...what does that mean? Basically...Sega now has full say on cult classics like SMT, Persona and every other unique game Atlus has made along the way.
Is this a good thing? To me...I won't know until I see (or lack there of if Sega becomes an ass) what the next couple of "Atlus" based games are released. If those series remain true, then I have no qualms. If not...then they'll be heading down the line of other companies that have unfortunately ruined their creations.
Now...let's see if a game is released where Sonic based characters must go to high school, fight Shadows and demons to save the world while forming social links and relationships. *dusts my Evoker and readies it for use if this should happen*

DOTA 2 and Dragon's Crown
Posted 12 years agoHave to say this one surprised me with how addicting and fun it is becoming to play.
Was skeptical at first and definitely takes some time to get use to, but perseverance and patience really pays off. It also helps if you manage to find the right heroes to play as (found one but looking for more)
If anyone else happens to play it, give a shout sometime if you wanna go a round or something. fighting strangers is fun, but friends makes it all the more amusing.
Also got Dragon's Crown on PS3 today and I have to say this one is good wholesome fun. Nothing beats the old days of Golden Axe, with online capabilities and some RPG elements for good measure. If anyone ever wants to multiplay on this, just shout out and we'll go on an advenchah and look for treashah!

Posted 12 years agoSo I merged my MSN with Skype, so as a heads up to anyone who talks with me/has me on their list, if you don't see me or things seem wonky...that is exactly why. Contact me through notes if this is an issue so I can maybe find a way to add you (unless you have to make an account then just give a shout when you do)
Just a heads up to anyone ^^

Posted 12 years agoSo I got Ni No Kuni today and...my life is about to be consumed by this. Seriously. I thought Xenoblade was, but this matches it in terms of drawing me to it. Outside of the beautiful graphics and world, the game itself is a treat to play. Been a long time since the PS3 has HAD a good RPG on it in my opinion like this.
If you don't have it, you need to treat yourself to this game, even if to at least try it.
Also...Mr. Drippy is THE BEST side character in any game ever made!

Holy crap it's over already?
Posted 12 years ago2012 certainly seemed to go by quickly.
Well, another year gone and a new one approaches. I've seen a lot of people thinking 2012 was one of their worst years and I'm not sure if I am on the same bandwagon. It started rocky with a couple of sad events, ended with some amazing stressful moments. However, it was that in-between area that I feel was where the good times landed.
Met up with an old friend and became closer than ever. Got a promotion and have been loving the role (it'll be brief but I'll take it!) Got some cool games along the way (I like my hobbies!) Helped others along the way, met a lot of new friends from the exchange student program my family is involved in and even had a fun Halloween for myself.
I wasn't very ACTIVE this year here per se, but then again I was just with real life. I got to taste a lot of it and I liked it.
So what do I hope to get out of the new year? Not sure...don't really have any expectations. I certainly hope there isn't as much stress involved as there has been lately, but I do hope that I can have the same amount of fun as I did have last year. However, if there is ONE thing I want to do this year...is go to Japan. I have so many friends I know who'd be happy to see me go there...maybe...just maybe.
Welcome to the new year everyone! Hope we all get a good time!

Posted 12 years agoHello to all! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a happy new years (once that day comes around! HAH, I said round...) Hopefully everyone can spend the day with their family and/or friends, plus have an awesome meal to go with it!
Also as a quirky side note, I'm in the process of making a meme just for my own amusement that I'll hopefully have posted up sometime before the year ends. Stay tuned!
Now then...time for some Christmas treats *noms on candy canes and stocking chocolates*

I gots a Wii-U
Posted 13 years agoAnd I am loving it! Definitely one of the best expectations for a system that didn't fail to impress me in a while. Loving the new controller-tablet and also got myself Nintendo Land and Mario Bros as my two first games for it.
I also finally got my Wii-U online! So if anyone out there wants to share friend ID's give me a shout! Will be happy to add you and give you mine.

The fox got bigger!
Posted 13 years agoYup, I upgraded my 3DS to a 3DS XL. I am soooo happy that I did; a bigger screen does make a huge difference (for me at least). So much brighter and a lot more vivid, plus the system just feels better to hold, so much smoother and such. Everything else is pretty much the same.
With that being said though, anyone who does have me as a friend in their DS systems will need to re-add me with my new numbers (since now you'll be sending stuff to the wrong person). If you want to add me, give a shout and I'll plug you my numbers and maybe add you in ^^
