Could use some help. I can never find artists when they are open. I'm looking for a good, detailed artist who is currently accepting commissions. It will be for basically a bust. But I want someone with good detail work. So if you know anyone who is open, let me know.

So, I've never done one of these, so figured why not. Feel free to ask me anything you'd like, and I will do my best to answer it.

I do it every year, so got to keep it going. It's my birthday again. It's hard to believe, but the earth did make it all they way around the sun once again. So I'm another year older. One more to go to the big 30. But 29 seems like a good year ahead.

For those of you who missed it, I proposed to  Pondit during Furry Night Live at Furry Fiesta 2013. During FNL, I was in a skit in which Doctor Who (who was given a ring in an earlier skit) arrives on "Valentines Day" and we start talking about how excited I am for my date and how I need to show him how much I love him. The Doctor then gives me the ring he received earlier. Some friends who were awesome in helping me out, and , made him get up on stage, where I got to one knee with a dozen roses and proposed.

And... he said "yes!"

Also, the rest of TFF was good. Pondit got his fursuit in and had a blast (I think I made his day better with the proposal). Was crazy busy and lot of fun. Already excited for next year's one.

I want to apologize if anyone I see/saw at TFF feels like i didn't send enough time with them or felt ignored in anyway. It is the first day, and it has been crazy all day and have hardly sat down or spent much time with anyone. This is a very busy con for me; I have a lot of friends I have to split very little time between. Again, sorry if you feel skipped over.

I don't know if it was Aug. or Sept. (or when exactly), but I just saw I was one of the fursuiters of the month for  fursuitchannel. I think it's pretty awesome to be selected for it. But, also looks like a couple of my pack mates were honored as builders as well,  merkindesr and  erisvalgen for said month.

Something I have noticed recently is that it seems like there are new golden retrievers popping up out of no where. When I first joined the fandom in '07, it seemed like there were hardly any retrievers about. Recently though, it seems like I've run into several about on FA and the like. It's kind of odd to run across or see new ones about so suddenly. Wonder if there is a reason for it.

Today I got to celebrate once again the amazing journey around the sun once again for a total of 27 times. Yep, your favorite golden retriever is 27 years old. Had a really good day overall, and got to celebrate with my mate and yesterday a bit early with some friends. All and all, pretty good day. :D

I just moved to Dallas/Fort Worth a couple weeks ago for a new job as a photographer. I'm actually living and working in Dallas and moved in with my mate, Pondit. So far so good. We were able to get it all moved out of my old place and up in about a day (plus a few small trips when I came to visit Pondit in prior weeks). Luckily had that help of Ty, Kedell to box, load and unload; and Foxie and his mate Ebon came to help unload.

Since then, we have just been working to get things set up (internet and power started, things placed, pictures hung). We are like 98% complete just need to hang a couple small things and get a few decorative items to make it look a bit nicer. I'm really enjoying it mostly. It is a nice place in good area. We are pretty close to public train station, which I have been taking to avoid having to deal with too much traffic (I don't like traffic that much).

I'm still trying to get used to the new job, and not fully sure still how I feel about it. It's a good switch as a photographer career, but still photographer. It is great to see my mate all the time instead of just weekends though. I'm also going to enjoy more regular hours (normally M-F 8-5). So I can plan more and a lot of fur friends in the area that I like, so will be good to see.

Wild Nights 2011
Not much to say. Packing up and getting set to leave. Getting there late to night. But not much time to talk. Later all.

Furry Fiesta is over and I had a blast. I thought about about making a post con report, but I figured I'd pass it over this time and just say it was fantastic. Got to do a part in the variety show, Furry Night Live, suited, and hung out with people.

Well, I finally bit the digital bullet and made a character on Second Life last night with the help and craftsmanship of my mate. I never wanted to join SL, never had any interest, but since my mate seems to enjoy running around so much there, I decided to join it to run about with him. I still don't know a lot about things and trying to figure out how to find my way around and do things, but I'll get there. So, if you see me about or want to find me, I'll be there.

Oklacon was a blast this year. I will try to keep it brief since I know no one wants to read a lot, so here it goes.

First off the theme seemed a little odd, "The Great Depression." But it actually turned out kind of cool. And my costume for suiting got a lot of praise, which I loved. I suited up as a press photographer from the past, complete with an hold Brownie Hawkeye. Sadly, my full suit didn't get in on time, but that's a rant for another day.

I got off late on Thursday from work and drove up all the way to Dallas/Fort Worth to meet up with my mate, , getting there just after midnight. We were able to load up his car quickly and get underway. We still didn't make it up there until around 6 a.m. though. Ugh... that was rough. We quickly crashed in our cabin with and .

Spent a lot of time suiting, which was a blast, and catching up with friends, and meeting some new ones. I loved and missed everyone. Plus, most of the pack was there. So it was great to get us together. And we all helped to decorate Calamity Cougar's car in true style (pictures to come). I even met at least one person at the con who watches me, so a shout out to  maxis. Plus, I got a bit of artwork (sadly some of it didn't get done yet, but will soon). It was also fun to get to do the fursuit dance with people this time.

The biggest thing at the con though was at the variety show.  okidoki, Pondit and I sang a special rendition of "The Night that Patty Murphy Died" which we called "The Night that Old Mouse Corsi Died." It was awesomely funny. And I will post up a link as soon as I can get some footage from someone.

I'm getting a bit long so let me thank everyone who helped to make the con great. My pack, my friends, my mate, and especially the staff (except the "Trail of Frowns" security :P Haha).
