Anyone else seen Wild Blue Skies coming to Steam?
General | Posted 3 weeks agoIf not, it's a game completely based off of Star Fox 64 right down to having anthro animal pilots. Looks like it should be a fun time. Any thoughts on the game style, the characters, etc? Bowie and Chuck are definitely a yes for me.

Save A Fox
General | Posted 6 months agoSad to read that Mikayla Raines took her life. If you don't know, she was the founder of Save a Fox, a fox rescue based out of Minnesota. Hopefully, she'll be remembered fondly for what she and her rescue did.
Universal day
General | Posted 5 years agoAt universal today. Just got off of hagrids magical creature motorbike adventure. Got to ride front seat for the first time. So far a fun day.
Living in Orlando is so weird
General | Posted 5 years agoSo we recently relocated down into Orlando and I’m still getting use to the idea of it. I’ve lived in big cities before but never one with so many theme parks around.
We live in the theme park capital of the world. Universal studios is less then four miles from the house. Disney is like 20 minutes away. It’s really quite surreal to think about.
But being a Florida resident has its perks. Today, we became the proud owners of universal studios annual passes. We went to the park today for only a few hours and rode a few rides. It was a very nice little date type thing. And while the rides were fun, the best part of the day was sitting on hogwarts express with my husband next to me, his head on my shoulder and holding his hand. It’s those little moments that make life great.

Nintendo
General | Posted 6 years agoSo Nintendo released a video last week about a new fitness thing and today we got a look at it and the game. Seems interesting though the main bad guy is a bodybuilding dragon. So I bet we'll see a lot of rule 34 of Drago soon.
And in case you missed him...

What is it like to have an imagination?
General | Posted 8 years agoI'm just curious how others think about it. I'm sure it's something that a lot of you take for granted.
It's a serious question for me though due to my inability to actually picture things in my head. It's something I've never really thought about until recently but it's something that affects me.
So to give some backstory, I have a condition called aphantasia. It's a condition that makes it to where I can not picture things in my head and as a result, it has affected my life in some ways and I didn't even realize as to why until recently.
I've talked to a few people about it but lately I've been thinking more and more about it and it really makes for a somewhat lonely existence in some ways. To give you an idea, I want to try this.
Imagine a sunset or a beach, a snow covered mountain top or maybe the faces of your friends or loved ones. Is it easy for you to do so? Are the images you see clear like you are there?
All those things I just described, I can not do. When i close my eyes, all I see is static. If I try to bring up an image, like my boyfriends face or a place I've been to, I can't. I literally see nothing.
Now, I do recognize things and know in my own ways what things look like, but to actually picture them is something I can't just do. I don't see anything.
And I think it's part of the reason I don't do art as much or write. It's hard to put something onto paper or screen when you literally can't imagine something to put down. I've heard people talk about their work, that it doesn't look like what they imagined it to look like. For me, it's never about that cause I never had an actual image to start out with in my mind.
I feel like I'm a creative person and want to be so. But I feel like I'm held back because of this condition. So it's why I've been asking others what is it like to be able to picture things in their head. Maybe if I get an idea of what it's like, my brain will compensate in a way for me to be able to do so even if I'm unable to actually do it.

Surface Pro 4
General | Posted 9 years agoSo I recently bought myself a Surface Pro 4 for doing art on and I have to say I really like it. It's really easy to use, has the full power of windows 10 in it and it's portable as well. Makes doing things easier. My big problem now is trying to get some inspiration on what to draw. Any ideas?
The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild...
General | Posted 9 years agoSo did anyone else see the play through stuff they did for the game? It looks like it's going to be challenging. My thing though was Kass, the minstrel. Damn...

It's my birthday
General | Posted 9 years agoThat is all.
Moving day
General | Posted 9 years agoSo we're moving out of the apartment today and will be making our way to Florida on Friday. Going to be spending this week hanging out with friends and family before we head out. Will probably be offline for the next few days.
Florida Bound
General | Posted 9 years agoSo...
Me and my mate have been living in Georgia for the last two years and while we have made some good friends, financially, we've been struggling and struggling. We've been trying to keep our heads above water but the struggle just has become too much. His parents live in Florida and have offered to help us move in with them so we're taking it out of necessity.
I'm going to miss the few friends I've made here but this move will be best for both of us I feel. Lately with our money struggles, I've been feeling overwhelmed and depressed about it, like I'm not man enough to pay for the bills and take care of him. He's been more and more reclusive cause we can't afford to go out and spend time together and it's just a vicious circle that needs to stop and this move should be what we need.
Will be leaving in about three weeks from today so really nervous and excited and unsure but I'm also hopeful.
If you're in Florida, let me know. Would like to know some locals. Wish us luck!

General | Posted 9 years agoI've been working on some art stuff as of late and wouldn't mind drawing something to keep practicing with. Anyone want a free pic? Reply, let me know. Don't really expect anything but hey, worth a shot.
Anime Weekend Atlanta

I'm bored
General | Posted 10 years agoAnyone have any suggestions of something for me to draw?

Reading Rainbow Kickstarter Please read
General | Posted 11 years agoSome of you may not have heard but there is currently a Kickstarter right now for Reading Rainbow. Levar Burton is trying to raise money to bring Reading Rainbow to kids in need via the internet and I feel this is quite a worthy cause. Originally, the goal was one million dollars which they got in eleven hours. Now they want to go bigger and are trying to raise five million dollars. If they can meet their stretch goal, they can expand into more classrooms and bring Reading Rainbow to more devices.
If you grew up with this show, I urge you to donate. Even $5 can help and will help kids in need. If you don't have the money, then please, spread the word. This is a very worthy goal and will benefit many.

Moved in
General | Posted 11 years agoSo me and the mate got moved into the new place and we're trying to get settled, though it's taking a bit longer then we thought it would, but I do like it here. Georgia seems pretty nice from what I've seen. I like that I basically have a nature walk in my back yard, which is awesome. Hope to hear from everyone soon.
Can't stop laughing. :)
General | Posted 11 years agoMoving soon
General | Posted 11 years agoOnly a few more days before me and the mate move. Ugh, I hate packing and cleaning but I know it'll all get done before we head out of here.
Need inspiration
General | Posted 12 years agoI want to draw something but not sure what. Anyone have any suggestions?
