Hey folks :) I know stuff's been kinda slow here lately, and I'm thinking of stuff to spruce it up a little. One thing I've been kind of intending for a while, on the backburner, is to get some new characters up and just do fun figure-drawing stuff. Get some fresh blood in, new poses, stuff like that! So for that thought, I have a question for all of you:

What kind of characters do you wanna see from me?

Feel free to answer how you'd like! Either here or, if you'd prefer to keep it more private, you can pass it to me in a note too :) You're not limited to just one suggestion, either. You don't need to design a full character, just let me know the kinds of things you'd like to see! Species, personality, settings, whatever :) Just a couple quick caveats:
1. No copyrighted characters. I want this to be original! ^_^ So I'll pass on pokemon and other stuff like that. And
2. No Draken Chronicles setting stuff. The old characters aren't going away, but to me, they're kind of played-out, old inspiration. Like I said, I wanna try something brand new for me :)
3. No need to suggest pregnancy stuff x3 We all know it's gonna happen eventually, so you can save the typing ;3

So that's your challenge, here: let me know the kind of stuff you'd like to see! If I get some inspiration from you, ya just might see it up here sometime ^_^ Have fun!

Hey folks! It's time for a round of commission sales! I've been wanting to draw more of the Mystery Dungeon duo Kai and I have, Alistair and Canvas, so I'm offering this discount up :D For $5, I'll draw you a colored-shaded sketch of your pokemon and one or both of the duo! The end-date of the sale is going to be two weeks from now, May 6th, and slots are not limited, so message me if you want one!

Some quick rules for the sale:
1. This is based on a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon universe, where the pokemon themselves are main characters, and humans are something only rumored about, so the principals have to be pokemon. Your characters don't need to be established in a PMD universe to count, but we'll be pretending like they are ;D

2. This sketch includes your pokemon interacting with Alistair and/or Canvas. It can be just about any kind of activity together :) Chilling in a cafe, meeting during dungeon runs, whatever! Adult art is allowed! (Alistair is quite the Cassanova ;3)

3. Canvas is a smeargle who Sketched the Transform skill, so he can turn into various different pokemon. If there's something you'd like him to be for the picture, just say! If not, he'll probably be in one of his preferred forms, like Glaceon or Growlithe. Also, he is someone else's character, so Kai'll have last say in what happens to him ;)

4. Keep it to generally about four characters total in the picture. I can make exceptions sometimes for smaller or simpler characters, but don't get too crazy.

If you want a sketch, send me a note and we can plan it out! If you've got any questions, get in touch and I'll help answer them :) I'm not placing an upper limit on available slots, and you're welcome to get more than one! Sketches will generally be done first-come first-served, but if you get a bunch at once, I might spread them out a bit so other folks don't have to wait too long either ;)

Yes, yes, I do still exist ;) I've been taking it easy of late (...Okay, I'm a lazy bastard. xD) but I HAVE done some work, never fear ;D The hiatus has been pretty restful :) Haven't done a -ton- of drawing, but the art I've been doing has been stuff for myself, and that's something that I've been lacking of late. So now, have a few pics of mine that I've had saved up for a bit! A fair chunk of this is commissions from a bit ago that I didn't get to uploading, but others are more recent stuff either for the fun of it or stuff related to maybe-projects of mine that come and go :) Commissions aren't quite open yet, but they just might be in the near future :D

Hey folks :) A couple updates on commissions:

First, for those who're currently in the queue, there's going to be a bit of a delay. My little brother's coming down from Illinois for the next week or so. I haven't seen him in the better part of the year, so I'm gonna be spending a lot of my time just chilling with him xD I will still have time for art, but not as much, so it'll be a bit longer of a wait, sorry!

Second, for those not in the queue: new commissions are closed currently, until I get this set done. It shouldn't be for too long, don't worry ;) I've got plans for once I've got the list clear again, so keep your eyes open for when it opens up again! :3

One of my friends is clearing out his PS2 collection and selling a bunch of his old games. There's a game currently in beta called Endless Space. It's a really cool 4x scifi game (think Civilization, but on a galactic scale). Hey folks :) It's been a good while since I mentioned anything commissiony up here. Since I first set up the pay scale, YEARS ago, my skills have improved a lot, so I'm adjusting my commission rates to more reflect the increase in both the amount of work I put into a pic and the quality you receive now!

Base Rate: $15 The base rate, all pics will start at fifteen dollars, which can be modified by adding in more details. At the base, this buys you a fully outlined, colored, and shaded picture of one or two characters, without a background (a simple gradient, flat-color, or something like that).

Extra Characters: $5 Every character in the scene past the initial two adds five dollars to the price.

Character Details: $1-10 This is a floating adjustment decided when you get the commission. Basically, more complicated characters can take more time and effort to draw, so this reflects that. Things like tauric body shapes or very detailed markings or tattoos can increase this price, depending on how complex it is.

Backgrounds: $5-10 Backgrounds are another floating adjustment. Simple backgrounds (like having the characters sitting on a couch together) are only five dollars, while complicated ones (like furnishing a room) are ten.

I'm very open for the kinds of commissions I can take. I love doing pics for other folks, and I'm very amiable about changes when necessary. I'm perfectly willing to draw adult pictures or weird kinks (though I draw the line at scat/watersports and cub stuff); when in doubt, don't hesitate to ask! Just send me a message through whatever service is the most convenient for you, with your idea, and we'll agree on a price. Last but not least, here's a few examples, to illustrate the new pricing system!

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6991685 $25 (NSFW) This is an example of what "Complex Background" gets you :) The markings in this case don't add the character complexity price, since they were just "put on some body-paints" as opposed to "put on this specific set of markings".

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7756842/ $40 This pic is a really big one, with five characters and a complicated background. It adds up to a high price, but you get a lot of quality with that.

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7552914/ $35 (NSFW) This picture has two characters and includes a complicated background. However, the gryphon has a very complex design, especially with the wings and tail. Coupled with the wyvern's design (only a slight increase from the large wings), it adds ten more dollars to the total.
