Remember my journal about my shitty day two days ago?

Well, guess what.
I've been told I'll receive a written warning about the incident. I didnt receive it yet. And just now it turned out I never will!
And why?
Because the phone number of the doctor that I gave out (which is of course not okay because its personal data)... is actually not 'secret' or personal at all!
Turns out the doctor has this number up on his answering machine all along! Anyone has access to that number! So, yes, I am not in trouble for giving out the not so secret number after all.

Let's say... I learned the lesson the hard way, but at least the worst consequence (the written warning) is out of the picture now. Phew. Luck does exist, guys.

Just a short journal about the shit day today. Nothing too wild, but I just need to get it out.

1) My E-Scooter that I use every day to get to and from work didnt function today. The battery was empty, which is odd because I recharged it overnight. Maybe the cable wasnt in completely. Anyways, I had to use the bus and walk quite a bit.
2) At work I had the task to go to a doctor, give him a health insurance card of one of our residents (I work in a retirement home), and get a prescription medication. Well... my co-workers didnt inform me that everything was cancelled and I walked 45 minutes for nothing.
3) The biggest part... Yesterday I had a tough day. We have a clients who got injured on his neck, but he's suffering from dementia badly. His wife though... she's the problem. She's over-protective and she called yesterday. I was on the phone with her for half an hour, and it all.. kind of escalated. I've been in this line of work for a while and I would say I'm very good with people. But everything just kind of got out my control since the wife was really upset and worried. In the end I gave in... and gave her a personal mobile phone number of a doctor that worked near our retirement home. I know I shouldnt have. I know I wasnt allowed to. I know it was stupid. But it was the heat of the moment and I regret it and I'm fucking angry at myself for doing that mistake. I told my superior about it because I'm not the kind of person to keep my mistakes down. I was very worried... and today I had a talk with my highest superior that again told me I cannot do it. They were understanding, but in the end they couldnt do anything but write me up for it because it's against the law... So yeah. Today has not been a good day for me. At least I won't loose my job or anything, but... still. It fucked me up (it still does.)

I need to vent really shortly about a boss at my work, sorry lol.

This boss is in charge of the nurses in our retirement home. He's responsible for everything medical care-related. And this dumbfuck is too stupid to do his job, sorry.
We get a new old cute man living in our home. The boss speaks to his exwife about medical care. And then he proceeds to just withhold those infos from us, the administration office, and even gives us FALSE INFORMATION because he just doesnt care.
Yet HE was the one today to give me a mean talk because he said "you can get his health insurance card from upstairs" and I asked ANOTHER collegue to get it for me BECAUSE I WAS FINALLY TALKING TO THE EXWIFE MYSELF AND GOT CRITICAL INFORMATION THAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR. I was like 'ok' when he got angry at me and he literally said 'no, its not okay. It's only okay if you do as I say'. This was in an early team meeting so many of my collegues heard it. And 3 people of that small group came to me afterwards, also being super confused and mad about how he treated me.

The worst is that in that moment, I didnt think about the fact that I was literally talking to the exwife and just walking away wouldve been rude. So I couldnt even say "I didnt do it because I talked to the exwife" in that moment. UGH BUT I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO. Now I am mad about myself lol, but even more about this useless boss, who did stupid things SEVERAL TIMES now.

I love OCs, I love reading about them. I have so many myself and every single one is dear to me.

Hey peeps!

As some of you may have noticed / read on my pics, I'm super struggling with an artblock at the moment.
I'm proud that I still managed to finish all my commissions still with a good quality, but I also feel like that you can kind of see that the artwork is a little forced.

There's still a lot going on in my life. One of my besties will soon marry her boyfriend of several years. (She's marrying with just her sister and her sisters boyfriend around, so I'm not invited yet.) My father probably needs to go the hospital soon again because of a stent in his leg being clogged. In general I'm not so certain how things will turn out with him. His legs get worse and worse thanks to bad healing from diabetes. He doesnt feel his legs at all so when he walks around and gets another wound, he only notices when it's too late. He needs new special shoes but they take a while to get made. Also he cannot get new ones while his feet are swollen thanks to the stent. By the way, if you're still actively reading this, congrats. The first one to write 'don't worry gurl' in their comments gets a little sketch art for free.
At least I'm feeling more content with living on my own. I adore the silence and the calm once I'm home. No longer working for 4 people, but just me. Though I'm not really feeling like I have more free time now, haha. Sadly. I'm trying to get a bit more fit by doing some sports every now and then. I'm trying to keep up with friends and social contacts, and trying to stay informed about news. I'm trying to keep my mental health up with various things. I'm trying to get better.

So I will take a little break for now and not take commissions. If anything I'll work on personal art and stuff to keep myself busy and maybe find the flow again. Also thinking of maybe working on some YCH.

I'm from Germany, not from Russia or Ukraine. But if you may be able to imagine, the german history has been one of the most grim of the entire world. In _our_ history classes in school, pupils are DRILLED to know the bad history of Naxi Germany back then. We are confronted with the bad we've done, unlike other countries who teach about the glorious victories and not about the bad stuff. We Germans have such a tragic past, and we swore to learn from it.

And now, war has started not too far away from us.
Right now we face no danger. But I really fear that it won't stay that way. My heart goes out to all those killed and endangered in this war. All of this because of a few madmen in the high chairs. And we Germans are again like: How can this be happening? How is noone seeing the truth? But luckily, it seems like the Russians DO see the truth. Many civilians from Russia do not want the war. Some go outside to protest, others dont, out of fear. I can totally understand that fear - who wants to be jailed, beaten up or even killed for voicing their opinion?
But I also think that this is the only way this can stop. That the russian civilians need to overthrow their leader, to stop Putin and his madness before it goes too far...

Overall, I just want to encourage everyone to do what they can. Inform yourself, don't be deceived by Russian propaganda or false information on the internet. Fight for whats right. If you can, consider donating to the countless charities that support the Ukrainian military. (But be aware of fake ones that just try to grab your cash!)
And I am deeply sorry for all the people that have to suffer in these horrible times.

For myself... I feel bad ever since the war has started. It pains me to see this tragedy, to see that humanity is still not over these horrible times. War always stays the same. I feel angry for people being this stupid. And in the end, I fear that things will escalate in the worst ways possible. And if that happens... Well, I dont know what to do. My depressed ass could barely take the death of my mother a few years ago. I _just_ moved into a new home to heal from the stress at home. And thinking that there could be war in our country in the near future? Yepp, it fucks me up, too.

So I'm sorry for being less active. I struggle to find the motivation to do things. I'm trying to continue normally, continue my commissions and all, but it's just harder for me than usual. I'm very sorry u_u
