I absolutely adored the old Hawken, some of the best looking mecha designs around, a mix of absolute scrap mechs, to a little more maintained but obviously battlefield scavenged to keep running, to elite reserves hidden away with fresh paint still. Plus it was fun! Balanced? Ehh. There were definitely some issues with it, but it was still great, great fun, and I was really sad when it shut down.

I'm not completely sold on it coming back as a single player PvE thing, but they apparently have plans for PvP as well, so here's to hoping it'll be just as good, if not hopefully better than its old incarnation.
Either way, it is indeed a good year for some walking steel action, and I'm happy to see this game wasn't completely forgotten.

10 long, long years waiting for the return of Armored core, and we're finally here.
I absolutely feel I must nab a nice Mecha commission to celebrate the return of my all time favorite series, so if anyone has any suggestions on artists that are into that genre and open for commissions please shoot me a link!

Turning a whole 25. I'm old now. Someone put me out of my misery before I start hating new music and wearing socks with sandals or some nonsense.
