2018: going well!
General | Posted 8 years agoLife update! 2018 going well!
Been very busy recently helping some close friends deal with some difficult stuff. Not finding much time or motivation to write at the moment, but thats okay, i know my inspiration will return to me in time.
I have been attending London furs meets on a regular basis, and i'm kicking myself that i haven't been doing so ever since i moved to London. The amount of amazing people i have met, and friends i have made, is a little overwhelming!
How is everyone else finding 2018 so far?

Looking back, looking forward
General | Posted 8 years agoA belated merry christmas and seasons greetings to all!
Christmas this year has been quite subdued for me, more a reason to see friends and family than a true celebration, still it has been a much enjoyable experience!
Looking back , personally i have had a great 2017, with downs and trying experiences, but chock full of amazing times and events. People often speak of starting "new chapters" in their life, but 2017 feels like the start of an entirely new "book" in my life; with a more mature main character, new themes and locations, and an expanded cast of new characters. Rejoining the furry fandom this summer was the best decision i have made all year, and have already met so many great people because of it, and am the happiest i have been for quite a while!
Looking forward i am exited to continue expanding my "furry network" in the new year, and hope to meet even more great people! I am working on developing my writing ability, and plan to conclude the story of Roland the detective that i started in the Thursday prompt by the end of January, and then start working on something substantial in length.
I dearly hope 2017 has been memorable for more people than just myself. In the turbulent and often depressing world we now live in i feel it is increasingly more important to focus on the achievements of one's self and one's friends.
Here's to 2017, and may 2018 lead us onwards and upwards!

A great few months
General | Posted 8 years agoI "rejoined" the fandom proper about 4 months ago.
In these four months i have achieved more than i did in more than four years last time i properly associated myself with the furry fandom. I dove straight back into my passion for writing, created an entirely new fursona, went to my first (or fur-st :P) furry meetup, and met loads of new people both IRL and here on FA.
In my non-furry life i rekindled old friendships and gained my first full time permanent job.
I wanna thank everyone who has made these past few months amazing: including all the people who i was able to get back in contact with, and all the new friends i have made. I feel blessed to have you all in my life!

General | Posted 8 years agoYesterday i attended London Comic-Con 2017, and had a blast!!
I saw loads of great cosplay, brought loads of great stuff, met some fun people, including a couple of furries! Im kicking myself that i have never been before.
I cannot wait for the next con, truly a great experience!

It's been a while
General | Posted 8 years agoSo its been a long time. A long time since i touched metaphorical pen to paper, since i thought about the furry fandom, since i thought about myself or others in an anthropomorphic way.
I cannot say what has compelled me to come back to the fandom and FA. I missed it dearly when i thought about it, but i think the love of anthro has always been a part of me, so to stay away from it for so long was perhaps not the healthiest thing to do. I was not denying this part of me, but rather becoming preoccupied with other things.
The past two years have been full of massive events, both globally, and for me. I have changed so much since the last time i frequented FA, which i hope is reflected in my writing and interactions. I am less selfish, possess more empathy, and have a wiser world view than i held over seven years ago when i first discovered the furry fandom.
I guess i could say that i am me 2.0
That's all for now!
