So today I got my "Work In Process" book that Kamui made! Due to some issues with ownership of Furplanet being switched to a new hand to better it up, there was a slight delay but when it was shipped it got here in 4 days!

Anyhoo, it's pretty top quality in terms of condition! Made on very nice paper and every page is in color, plus the images look just as great as they do here on FA!

The pages I've read were very detailed and had tips and tricks on the stuff Kamui does with his work! It doesn't simply jump from A to E like alot of online tutorials do, or even some tutorials you can find in book stores! And in the event that something wasn't covered, Kamui makes note that it'll be explained later in the book, and from what I've seen it is!

I don't have any problems with the book, so far I've learning stuff I either didn't know, or knew very little on(Especially certain things regarding digital coloring). I likely wont find any negatives when I do a full review of this, but I do imagine he'd like to know what readers want in another book/magazine/tutorialthingy so I imagine when I've finished this book I'll definitely be begging for more!

I'd also like to say that while it does teach you how Kamui does what he does, don't expect a full on tutorial on EVERYTHING, it just shows us how he does what he does and how you can do stuff similar! It's also a great portfolio of his stuff, so even if you aren't an artist, this is a great buy and nice way to support someone with mad skill!

I recommend any artists, amateur or pro pick this up! It's only $12 or so on Furplanet right now, and with shipping thats maybe 16 at the most. Furplanet should have its issues worked out so time wont be as bad as it was for me!

Soo yeah :E I did 3 sketches last night of a new dragon character I've made! I'll be scanning them in sometime tonight.

Okay so I post a sketch maybe once every week...But I have something complete coming! Several things in the coloring process, just having a hell of a time since I'm trying different techniques(And went back to OC4 for an image).

Furry convention on CNN, OH GOD. I saw someone's laptop with FA in the background.

Also a furpile that they reconsidered showing since it looked oh so wrong.
Amazingly, nothing bad was said about furries >_> they just said we like to dress up as animals.

That conclusion is that alot of people in the fandom can easily piss with off with some of the things they say. Especially the ones who say they are all gay/lesbian/transgendered friendly, yet in a journal or comment show they're hypocrites.

Also... I is workin on arts :3 I'm in a relatively good mood, especially because my cat noticed me getting slightly irritated and decided to come sit next to me and purr all happily.

Also.... Disgaea for the PSP is addicting, and I need a bigger PSP stick so I can cram Silent Hill Origins on there along with FFT.

Got the Orange Box thanks to the loveable mate :3 Portal and EP2 are awesome, and TF2 is just insane! I watched a spy video today showing how to be a good one and I think I'll make it my primary class!

I wanna upgrade to 3.71CE but I need to reset my XMB to the default I think....And I don't have my original Flash0 x_x anyone know how to fix this?

I seem to be awake most during that time period, and wanted to know if anyone else is awake during that time that would like to chat and such :) Plus I need someone to look over my arts on occasion!(I don't like posting sketches or incomplete works on here)

A fellow artist said theres nothing wrong with it, and alot of people tend to use it and it helps get stuff like anatomy and shadows drilled into your head so they become natural..

Also, would you say the program Second Life is good to use when looking for reference since you can pretty much create any pose with a realistic avatar and be pretty anatomically correct? I ask because I've noticed that the SL avatars(Atleast no those freaky as fuck exaggerated ones with 4 breasts covering their bodies or such) tend to be very realistic and figured it would be a great way to get reference for things or practice anatomy using poses from it :)

A friend of mine..I think either Lykanthrope or Kumowolf showed me how they color in oC and I love how it looks like a painting or watercolor....I forgot how to do it and I wanna do my next piece in the watercolor style :3

For my first con, that I didn't want to go to at first, it ruled.
Yeah, it wasn't as 'awesome and kickass' as I've heard when compared to Anthrocon and FC, but for a first con, I personally am glad it was smal as it allowed me to get used to the con feel without thousands of people's body odors colliding.

I got to hang out with  reivegan on Friday night in the room on the 12th floor across from the Ballroom and draw stuff, then for most of Saturday I hung out with  lykanthrope till I got really fucking sick and had to go lie down, I also hung out with  starman_deluxe for some of Saturday and Sunday!

Also, apparantely RF did REALLY well, and made back twice what it paid for the convention, so it looks like we'll have it again next year! :)


EDIT:

My biggest issue with the con: Someone got in our room and took peoples personal belongings, my cellphone charger(WTF, why would you need mine?) included.

And thans everyone who recently added me to the watch! I'm trying to churn out 3 pics before August, 2 are nearly done!

I finally got one and it looks soooo sexy!

It's nothing godly, just a nice one that can handle all of my art and chat needs so I can be places besides my boring as hell bedroom!

It's a Toshiba and apparantly I can upgrade it quite a bit to make it more game friendly if I ever get the urge :3

And of course it has Vista, which I really only like for its looks, though I hear Vista is good for media stuff outside of games, so I'll get to test it! :)

Ironically this is the day Mt. Saint Helens exploded, which is 2 hours or so away from where I live, and an hour from where I was born, fun times!

Interesting album.
Although Linkin Park is notorously famous for being the 'emo CRAAAWLING IN MY SKIIIINN' band, I had to listen to this album. It's different, I don't know if its a good thing or not, but I've heard 4 or so songs and yeah... I do kinda wish they kept some of their previous stuff, it seems like they dropped what made LP LP, the rapping and good beats in favor of a more rock like nature.

Anyways..Thoughs, opinions?

So  sepffuzzball tagged me a while ago, I am now going to fufill it.

About six weird habits or things I hate about myself..

1.Sometimes I play the same song over and over and get lost in it, for example, 'We Share Our Mother's Health' by The Knife is a song I listened to for 2 hours straight while daydreaming without knowing it.

2. I think all the time, I do not stop thinking AT ALL about things and such. I'm always pondering something or lost in a thought, even when drawing, playing a game, swimming, arguing, ect.

3. I play with my hair alot.(Which has gotten long enough to cover my eyes and be turned into a hairstyle similar to those find in Anime)

4. I hate that I am a perfectionist because at times it reduces the fun factor of something that should be fun to 0%, and raises the 'MAKE THIS LOOK GOD DAMN PERFECT' factor to 200%.

5. When I go to sleep, or try to, I tend to think more of real life than dreams, and when I dream it tends to involve people close to me,

6. I refuse to eat practicaly any form of sea food, and will generally only it chicken if I have to eat a type of meat.

So uhh..yeah..Not gonna tag anyone :P
