Hey guys, I can't believe it's been this long but I've been on FA for 4 years xD. I didn't think I'd be on here for this long but it has been quite an experience.

It's been amazing to get myself out there and have a good portion of people see the stuff I like to draw. That and getting feedback (good or bad) is always something interesting to look into to see what people have to say. Flexing my artistic muscles to better myself has probably been one of the most satisfying moments on here =]

Though there's always downsides to being on here. I'll probably say, after talking with most of the artists I admired before I even began drawing on here, 90% of them didn't really care about anything I had to say to them. It didn't really matter whether or not I drew them something. It just was kind of disappointing to actually interact with them. I find it funny that my best friends I met on here didn't even end up being artists at all haha. I guess drawing stuff for popular artists so that "Senpai can notice me" was probably my biggest regret I ever had on here haha xD. I've told some of my newbie artist friends about this and now I'm telling any aspiring artist reading this. Draw for YOU, your friends, and draw for fun. If you draw for someone's attention, most likely they won't care if your art skills are subpar compared to their own (probably...maybe...haha). Not only that but doing art for that is doing it for the entirely wrong reason. Besides, it seems that fame hits you whenever you aren't searching for it lol.

Which brings me to my resolution. Definitely cutting back on giving gifts of any kind this year. I've had some bad experiences this year with giving gifts, even non art ones :I. I personally like getting surprise gifts but I guess others simply don't care haha. But yeah, it might be a weird one but I'm going to try to be more of a selfish d-bag this year lol xD. Well not really, I guess I'll just give stuff to my close friends =3

So anyways, here's to another year! And if you guys have any resolutions, I'd love to hear it =]

I was talking with one of my close FA friends about this and we both agreed on it.


I just want to thank you guys for viewing my art, faving, watching me, and most importantly commenting on stuff. You guys don't really know how much power you have over artists. The more you guys show your support, the more motivated we feel to keep doing what we're doing. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I probably wouldn't be here posting still if it wasn't for you guys. I still remember being super stoked getting 20 faves on something, 40, 50, 75, 100+.

I mean, I kind of expect to be around where I am now when I've put 4 years into drawing online but really, nothing should be taken for granted. It'd be nice to be hovering into the stars but I feel content with where I am right now even if it isn't super spectacular x3.

Though it is kind of disheartening to see numbers for everything drop by 30-50% compared to what I was getting last summer. I felt myself slowly losing the will to draw and I still am. Not that its an entirely bad thing. Bad for you guys since you get less art but I've been able to enjoy my time reconnecting with friends and getting joy out of being a gamer as opposed to an artist. That and school...damn you school lol.


All in all, thanks for liking my art and thanks to you who actually read my journals. I guess what I'm trying to say is that as opposed to just looking at the thumbnail of a pic of mine in your inbox and never looking at it again, click it! and then never look at it again lol. You never know! There might be some candy or cookies inside lol x3. This isn't just for me, but for all artists I assure you haha.

It's a real fun game that really exceeded my expectations! Hey everybody! Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how I've been doing =3

First off, I want to thank everyone who wished me a happy bday. I really appreciated the love and support you guys gave me during that day(weekish). ^^ Though I want to thank the 4 or so people who gave me bday presents even more! Thanks to those guys who took some time/money out of their lives to make my day that much better =3. I'll never forget what people have done for me and I'll be sure to return the favor someday =D. Overall, thanks for that all you guys! It turned a meh birthday into a good one =3.


Other than that, I started school and it's been pretty hectic trying to keep up with all the work. I've cut out games out of my life on the most part but I haven't really given up my art. So hopefully, every other day I'll post something for you guys to enjoy ^^. I have way more time nowadays considering that I'm cutting out sleep time from 10-12 hours to 6-8. My body clock is really messed up x.x;;

Well, I got a rejection letter from my college that I got into a few weeks ago and I tried to appeal it. I'm not sure if I'll actually get in but it's been pretty tough on me. I've had to make a plan B for just about everything.

In the mean time, been drawing and I'm glad you guys could give me that much more motivation to draw since my faves/views/comments have been at an all time high recently. So thanks, It means a lot to me =]. I also just hit over 50k page views and I'm nearly at 1400 watches. I never thought I'd get to this point since I'm a subpar 7th banana artist but I guess it's to be expected when I've been drawing on the net for about 4 years now coming up in september lol. But yeah, thanks guys =D

I only have a little less than 2 weeks left of summer vacation so I'll try to get to the commissions that I've taken on but once I get back to school it might take some time to get the rest of them done. Though, I haven't heard back from some people so I might have to void their slot just so that I can clear up my list next time.

Well, a lot of family problems and personal things have been keeping me from drawing as much as I want to. That and the heat! I really wish I had a room I could AC 24/7.

I was trying this out a month ago. My laptop(which I do all my art on) is just too old and can't handle the graphics of the new madden! My CPU's body cannot handle it so I can't stream anything other than games. So sorry to those people who wanted to see me stream art. =\. My tablet is built into the screen so I can't just remove it and use it on my other computer.

Hung out with  shinfox at an anime convention a few weeks ago. That was some fun stuff =]. I went broke but I enjoyed myself lol. Not the best one I went to but it was still good. I mainly bought t-shirts as swag this year. Funny, cuz I'm more of a figure guy.

Also had  ryuakira come down to hang out with me. Gonna hang with him again next week with a bunch of other FA guys so that'll be awesome =3.

I usually have a few questions that I ask my friends when I first meet talk to them for an extended period of time. I don't know why but I always find it interesting to know what everyone's answer is.


If you want to answer go ahead, you don't have to obviously :P. So here we go, the first question I like to ask people is "What's your favorite furry character?".

This can be answered 2 ways. It can be either one that's in mainstream media (ie, t.v., movies, internet, ect.) or one that's limited to an online artists like me. Answer one or both, I'd like to know just for kicks haha =].



For me,

1. Krystal from Starfox, I only say that because she was one of the furry characters that made me explore this fandom and ultimately made me decide to try my hand at drawing. Not to mention she's a total fox :B.

2. Kind of obvious to most people who have watched me for a long time.  ryuakira's Amelia is a character that made me discover things that I never knew I liked lol. Before, I never really liked dragons or thought of them as being dang sexy but something about her character design was different. Also, blue seems to be a reoccurring theme here lol. Guess I just love blue :P

As for prices, I'm settling for 15$ per pic, one pic per slot, and preferably just one character. If you insist on two, it'll be 10$ per extra character. These prices seem alright with me.

Technically i didn't really start posting new content here until may 2010 but it says three years on my page so whatever haha.

Just wanted to post another journal. Less about me and more about you guys! Thanks a lot for supporting my art all these years. Really, you guys give me a reason to come on here and post stuff. Over these three years I've gotten a little over 40k page views, almost half of that number of faves, and a little over 1.1k watchers! Nowadays, I really don't care about numbers anymore but when i first started, i would've had a seizure to think I'd get this far haha.

Also, since I'm going to have a whole lot of nothing to do this holiday break, I think i'm going to bring back commissions though at a price. So what do i get for my birthday? My girlfriend lets me know that she really doesn't love me. Well as a lover, she loves me as a friend. Now i don't know if this is just me but I find that to be a pretty big insult. Sure I'm glad she value's our friendship but why did she have to lead me on when she didn't love me 100%? So yeah, her birthday gift to me is to make me feel like a sack of crap. Thing just don't go my way does it? I mean, I spent at least 200+ dollars in gifts and going out with her. Just goes to show you, don't be so willing to give the girl you love stuff. Most likely she'll just turn around and throw it all back into your face.

So, since i don't have a girlfriend, you know what that means! More Furry porn! Yaaaay!

So yeah, expect me to be more active from now on. Though, with school coming up, i'm not sure if i can really put as much stuff out there than i want.

Hey everybody. I haven't been online for a long time and thanks to those who actually were concerned about my absence. Reminds me that I have friends and they actually care about where they're porn is--i mean where I am. lol


So one reason I've been inactive was my finals for school. they were tough, but i did well in all my classes. Not as well as i hoped but good enough.

The second reason is that I finally got a girlfriend =3. I don't want to elaborate too much, but let's just say she's exactly what I wanted in a girl both physically and personality wise haha. We share a lot of interests save the whole furry thing. I haven't told her I like this stuff or that I draw stuff on this account but that really doesn't matter to me. Her being a furry too isn't that important to me. So in conclusion, it's good to have a best friend in a lover since that's how it feels :3.


Bad news is that I have summer classes and as well as having a girl friend now, I don't really have nearly as much time to draw things as I did last year I must say. The reason I drew this stuff is because I didn't have a girlfriend so now that I have one, It's kind of void lol. But don't worry, I'll still be posting stuff here and there. It's just not going to be as frequent as it was before. XD

Another thing that i've been doing is playing League of Legends with my buddies. It's a real fun game when you do it on voice chat and it's a chance to talk with friends I couldn't normally speak too if i wasn't playing this game.

Anyways, hope everyone is doing okay, and I'll try my hardest to stop playing games with my friends, hanging out with my girlfriend and try to post something once in a while. lol

Well, from my last depressing journal things got worst. Last Sunday, my computer doesn't start up. After Panicking for about 3 hours trying to fix it, I ended up fucking the whole thing up.

In other words, I lost ALL my drawing and stuff. I had like a dozen sketches and a 2 finished pics and now they're pretty much done. I had to reformat my computer and I finally upgraded my computer to windows 7. Since my laptop has a virtual Vista disc, i couldn't really use it boot up my computer since the start up files died.


So yeah, among other things, got jewed out of a game I was looking for and christmas just isn't that jolly this year since we don't really have that much money for presents =\. I'll have to say this is my worst christmas ever having going through all this garbage of career failure, computer trouble, and no gifts.

I KNOW it's not the worst possible christmas but it sure is the worst I've ever experienced. I'm over it but it really stings getting kicked while I'm down when it comes to my whole art ambition.

However, My friends really picked me up this holiday so it's not nearly as bad as I could've been. Because really, Friends and family bring the most happiness, not some crap you can buy at a department store.

So MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS and I might work on another Christmas pic for you all since it helps cheer me up haha. =]

Well I can't believe it's been a month without even posting anything lol. Time sure passes by when you've got school work and the lack of motivation by your side.

I guess I finally snapped once final work started to pile up and when I was trying to do some gifts for some friends. Just one of those, "everything is shit to me" drawing cycles. Affected me so much that I couldn't even stand being on here, such a waste of time. Not like me doing stuff on here matters anyway lol.

And so finally I think I'm going to call a quits to the whole art profession. I'm just too tired to go on with this shit anymore. I finally see what the art world really is and I don't want a part in it. I love doing art but I think if it becomes a job then I'll lose all of my motivation. That's why I'm probably going to go drill out a degree that pays well and will put a roof over my head with job security.

That aside, I'm not going to stop posting on here I think. All this is just a chance for me to uwind when I feel like doing art.

As for commissions, I'm not doing them for a long time. And by long time I mean, request long time. I just don't find them appealing anymore. They're more of a pain than anything else. The money isn't worth sitting in front of my computer for X amount of hours. IE 15 dollars to draw for 6-8 hours. And if I do bring them back, I'll have to increase the price a lot in order to make them worth doing. So yeah, enjoy the crap i post up here for free cuz it's ALL you're going to get! lol

On another note, I got a new icon that I made lol. Just a little animation cuz i was bored. That and I have some art on the way so be prepared for it.

Yep, totally starting my own loser wagon for those of us who can't play skyrim D:. My computer is faaaaaarrr too crappy to handle it's awesomeness since my graphics card is old as hell lol (nvidea gt 9300) AND my ps3 is just a huge paper weight since it RSoD'd on me. All I can do is stare at it as it laughs at my anguish. I don't have the money to buy a new graphics card and/or a new system so I'm pretty much screwed lol.

Oh well, one of these days...I will play it! SOMEDAY! lol

Well, sister finally moved out so I'm just with my parents. Kind of sucks since she's my best friend but at least now I'll have more time to focus on art =\.

Lately I've been playing games to pass the time. It's fun. I just wish I was drawing again lol.

Had a great time with all my high school buddies and  shinfox. Played games, ate well, and had a good laugh all the while. This birthday made me realize that I'm surrounded by a lot of good people both online and offline. I'm glad I have so many friends who care about me a lot =3.

On another note, Schools starting up so I MIGHT slow down in art production. Though I found that I draw more during the school year then on my time off which is funny. I guess it's more therapeutic for me so I can unload my stress. Oh well, Hope this next semester will be kind to me haha.

you know i haven't said anything about it...but I made it to 20k like 3 weeks ago and now I'm at 22! I guess I'm mildly popular now lol. When I just started out, i thought 10k would be a major feat. but now I'm wanting more...MORE POWER! ahaahahaha! I made it here but I still feel empty inside...I guess i'll be very happy when I reach 50 or 100k. Then my online artist career would be complete lol.

One of my friends asked me recently when my birthday is. Yes, it's coming up but I don't really want people to go out of the way to draw something or get something for me this year. I refused to tell him because I knew he wanted to draw something for me.

He made a point though. As my friend, he deserves to know(persistent bastard) so I'm going to let you guys know to. It's on the 16th of AUGUST so mark your calendars if you want. I guess it helps those slow artists out there who don't want to be late or whatever.

Well...if you read  shinfox's journal, i've been at anime expo last weekend.

I had a blast. Cosplaying, screening, buying stuff, it was a ton of fun xD. It was really cool hanging with shin again too as well as my other non furry friends.

The whole ordeal was quite taxing though. I'm not use to getting 5-6 hours of sleep a day let alone for 4 days straight xD. Well, it's over and I think i'm finally back to normal.

So hopefully, now you'll see some more work from me. Though it has been tough since it's been getting hotter lately and I can't really work on my computer during the day. My room gets really hot and while it is "workable" i'd have to sit in a 90 degree stuffy room in front of a computer that gets really hot easily so I'm not going to have me or my computer suffer during the day x.x;;. I hope it cools down soon.

Anyways, hope everyone had a decent 4th of July! (for those of you who live in U S of A.) And I hope more art will be on the way xD.

Well 2 weeks ago my sister graduated from High School so I've been kind of busy with going to family parties and stuff. After that I got sick for a week with a wicked soar throat followed by a lot of coughing and flem and all that good stuff. I've been also trying to work on my serious portfolio as opposed to just drawing furries since my parents have been pushing me to do so.

All this plus various other things such as looking for another job, a newer car and trying to get my computer to work right (now it is thank god) have really been slowing me down in art production. So sorry guys especially the ones that have commissioned me =[.

Good news, things are starting to look up. I'm not depressed and sick anymore so I'm finally feeling my artistic vibe coming back ^^. So prepare to see some art soon.
