I try to be! Tend to be kinda nervous/quiet though, don't take it personally.

Probably only those I'm invited to, I'm not huge on just wandering into open ones.

Wherever I get pulled along to, really; I'm not super picky, don't have a car here, and don't know the area too well (last MFF I was able to make was back when it was still in Wheeling).

ATT: Anyone looking for AC room space
Posted 9 years agoSomeone dropped out of a room I've got set up for AC at the last minute due to outside factors, would love to get that hole filled if possible. Room at the Doubletree (roughly the same walking distance at the Omni) from Wed June 29th to Mon July 4th, currently it's

Dos and don'ts are pretty much common sense (shower, don't bring people back to the room for sex, try not to wake anyone up if you come back super late, etc) but otherwise we're a chill group. It's gonna be about $150 in terms of room share. Note me here or on Twitter if interested, though I'm going to have to run it by the others first before I can lock anything in.

Posted 10 years agoWon't be super available for at least a few days, going to do some more troubleshooting in the morning but I'm very likely looking at a physical hard drive failure. Can still read FA notes/Twitter/access Paypal from this phone, but Skype/Steam et al are a no go. Sorry.

Posted 11 years agoI know this is kind of a silly thing to bring up, but since I'd rather not leave anyone hanging, here goes.
Tomorrow, I'm starting my new position as a mail carrier. I'm going to be largely unavailable Monday through Saturday, save for maybe in the early evening (and I use the word maybe here because I've been informed that until I get the hang of this, I'm going to "come home so worn out that all you'll want to do is sleep"). Texting is basically out of the question too; I'll be able to check those along with FA notes and Twitter DMs via my phone on breaks/lunch, but beyond that...yeah.
No clue if this is even going to work out (though that's best saved for another journal entirely), but still, got this up here as a just in case. Sorry.

1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times: Terminator 2, and Billy Madison.
2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in a theater: Grindhouse, Wreck it Ralph
3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie: Simon Pegg, Robert Downey Jr., Jason Statham (shut up).
4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie: Russell Brant, find him irritating as all get out.
5. Name a movie that you can quote from: Pulp Fiction.
6. Name a movie musical that you know all the lyrics to all the songs: None, sadly.
7. Name a movie musical that you have been known to sing along with: Parts of Wicked...ok, so it's not a movie YET, but still.

Posted 12 years agoLong story short, my old phone physically crapped out to the point where it won't even turn on anymore. Therefore, Verizon couldn't activate the software on it that allows contract transferring. I still have the same number, so I'd really appreciate it if those of you whose numbers I had saved would please text me and give a heads up as to who you are, for the sake of recovering who I can.

My apologies if this came off as pandering/fishing or something, there's apparently a metric ton of people in this part of the FA community having them around this time!

Posted 12 years agoGot a room locked down for the nights of July 3-7 at the Doubletree with four people altogether, but for the sake of getting each slice lowered to something a little more reasonable, we're currently looking for a fifth. Please note me here if interested for details and the like; would toss them all out here, but I'd prefer to keep this brief for now.
