Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, or Black Freedom Day, is the day where we celebrate the anniversary of the abolishment of African American slavery, which was on June 19, 1865. Well, it was almost abolished until that day. You see, President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, which gave slaves their freedom, but it wasnt until 1865 that in Galveston, Texas, the last Confederate slave state, that Union officers told the state government that slavery is immoral, unethical, and now, illegal. So the slaves were freed. Over time, Black Americans began to celebrate the holiday through art, music, community gathering, and prayer. It gained popularity and more observers in the 1950s and 1960s during the Civil Rights Movement, where many Black people fought for racial equality. Juneteenth was used as a pivotal push for Black equality during those days. About 60 years later, on June 19th ,2021, President Joe Biden signed Juneteenth as a national and federal holiday.

Juneteenth has become a holiday of racial equality, justice and perseverance, and I hope you can celebrate all that it has today.

Everyone....I have taken time to calm down and relax. I have talked with my friends on Discord and here on FA. I've also talked with my mother on this issue. I.....I wanted to apologize for what I said in my last journal. Sometimes i say things that I don't mean when I get sad, frustrated, angry, depressed, disappointed, scared, etc. I tend to say things like "I give up" when really I don't mean it. Emotions tend to find a way to get us to do things or say things that we never intended on doing.

I feel more calmer and better now. This whole issue has taught me one thing. To keep trying. When one door closes, another one opens.
A friend of mine on Discord told me that and now, I feel better. So, I'm gonna keep going. I won't give up! I'm gonna keep trying to find other jobs that will suit me.

I tried so hard to apply for a job at my favorite theme park: Knott's.
All I wanted was a job. Any! Any single one! I could've been given trash duty and I still would've been the happiest I would have been.
But no.......
They wanted someone with "better experience and ethics" Meaning, they wanted someone better than me.

I tried and gave it my all, just trying to grab a job so that I could learn how to make money for myself. But it seems like my efforts were all for nothing. My dreams have been crushed and destroyed.....

Lemme spell it out for those of you who dont understand it like I do.
It means that if you have any fursonas or OCs who are small, then you have to change their size so that the FA Admin deems them as Adult. They think any sona or OC who is tiny is considered a child. This is complete bogus.
Now Ive drawn small characters before. Does that mean I have to change sizes? Nope! Screw that. I'm going by my own rules with this.
I'm gonna be an FA Outlaw with this rule unless they change it. I'm sorry, but this is complete nonsense.

This update just isn’t specific on what its trying to tell. Once it goes into effect, the consequences would very likely lead to the end of FurAffinity. It’s even worse than the stupid YouTube guidelines! Do you remember the Elsagate scandal? Because of that, every single video has to be labeled "for kids" if there is even ONE.
