Although these are Pay-What-You-Want, I don't really like to be screwed over, and if you want me to give you a full shaded image with background for like... 50cents, please don't even bother asking- I hate saying no, but more than that I hate feeling like people are trying to rip me off.

I have a pretty awesome turn-around time as well, so you don't have to worry about waiting a month for an image or something.

So, my dog, Kira, has cancer.
She was diagnosed about three months ago.
I heard about it last week.
I do not know what the name of it is called (her new owner lost that information), but it is extremely aggressive.
She has gone from being fine to not being able to control her bowels or walk in under three months.

It has been decided that she is going to be put down in the next couple of weeks, so I'd like to fly out and see her one last time.

Hello all! I will be doing commissions over the next month, where 50% of the proceeds will go to Puppy Rescue Mission, a nonprofit organization that helps soldiers bring home animals that they find while deployed.

I will be taking only three slots at a time, and prices can be found on my Commissions Tab. At the bottom of this journal will be commission types that aren't listed, but that I will still do.
I will be recording finished commissions and payments here, and at the end of May I'll be sending half of that to PRM (rather than sending a tiny amount every time I do a commission).

Art is not easy to create.
You don't just blink and have the image appear.
Furry artists are a dime a dozen, so we have to charge accordingly.
No where I know of do artists charge as little for hours of work as we do.
Most furry artists charge less than minimum wage, sometimes a mere tenth.

When you commission someone, do yourself a favor. Look at other artists. Check out their style, their skill level, dig through their gallery, ask for a pricing layout. Then do it again for someone else. And again. And again. That way you know you will be getting the sort of deal you are hoping for.

I am a realist.
I do not have an 'actual' job (not from lack of trying).
I am a full time college student.
I will not allow myself to waste my time and energy on people who want to pay me only a couple bucks an hour.
That time is better spent practicing on something I want to draw, without needing to worry about bending over backwards to appease a particularly needy customer.
