A new year approaches

We are at the point where the new year is coming fast and I figured I would post something about the past year. I'm not gona be down about everything but 2023 was a rough one for me, started alright but honestly since 2020 every year has been worse and worse for me. I covered a lot of whats happened in my "What the Daz doin" Journal, so I wont be going over everything here. All I will say is that '23 has thrown a few more punches my way as we reach its end.
I hope the new year brings better times for all. I have my plans and I hope everyone who's made theirs for the coming year sees them to fruition. I hope everyone has a good new years eve/day, i'm going to be chilling with friends and food mostly. I look forward to seeing you all in 2024 ^_^

What the Daz doin?
Posted 2 years agoHey hey all, how are we all? Doin good I hope.
Just Daz here with a quick update on everything thats been going on in my ever chaotic life of the last 4 months or so.
So to start off for those who dont wana read a potential wall of text here's the TL:DR and there will be some links at the end for ya.
I've been forced to move a bunch and might do again, my partner of 4 years broke up with me by telling me they're with someone else, my work situation is looking bleak but is manageable.
Okay now for the long form content, a wall of text, so strap in, get that starwars into music playing, and start scrolling.
Starting off with housing; my mother and step father, hence forth referred to as "parents", have kicked me out of the flat I was renting in what turned out to be a futile move to profit of the property I was in. They dropped the news of my eviction to me on my birthday, which was nice of them... But it wasnt untill June that I actually was moved out. Since then I've had to crash with a couple of friends who almost imidiately offered their support when they heard what was going on, and since i've moved from theirs they have now had someone else in need move in. I am truly fortunate to be surrounded by such good people.
Currently I've been forced back to live with my parents, they manipulated my situation in such a way as other options would have been impossible to take, plus I was already limited by still holding a work contract that keeps me tied to a given location. My parents are once again trying to force me out and threatening me with excessive rent charges, there is sure to be further updates on this as I'm still here as of this post.
This part I will try to keep short. In the middle of the housing situation my partner of 4 years who had been ghosting me for what has felt like an eternity actually responded to one of my messages and an actual conversation occured. Now i'm a very loyal person, held out on them coming back eventually and was fully prepared to pick things up and rebuild from what had happened. That appeared to be how they presented their intentions. After arranging to meet and me taking time off to go see them to work on things, they then drop on me only a few days before I'm due to set off that they had in fact spent the time ghosting me with someone else and were now committed to them.
This was obviously a big blow to me emotionally and rather poorly timed given everything else going on with me at the current time, but I cant change the bad actions people take against me. What it does mean is I've had to cancel the proposal plans that I had been working on since '21 and the moving plans that I had prepped should my partner have wanted to move in with me at the time. The custom ring designs are gonna be up-cycled into something new, and the materials put towards that as a future endeavor. Any money saved will likely go elsewhere.
And last but not least, work. This one will be short and sweet, the company I work for is playing a game of "fuck around and find out" and are currently in the finding out stage of what union lawyers are like. There's also been a string of poor managament decissions made recently that are having a knock on effect to the sites. And to top it all off, my supervisor, the only person who makes my work somewhat tolerable is leaving in a week from this post.
So with all the depressing shit outta the way, time to look towards the future, so whats the plan? Ya cant keep a good Daz down.
With housing I plan to get somewhere cheap, save and plan a bigger move down the line. I just need to find somewhere or negotiate more with my parents. I need somewhere that I can stream from with decent internet, that's my only thought atm.
All the money set aside for relationship plans will probs go to my hobbies, and some savings. Not much else too that.
Work wise I'm just gonna wait out my contract then find somewhere else.
Long term plans are still be thought on, but now that I dont have anyone anckoring me down here I can put my plans to move to the 'States back on the table. It's something I had planned and saced for befoer 2020 but we all know what happened that year. I am also currently working hard on streaming and art, along with building a little side business with merchy stuff. Been thinking about tentatively opening for commissions for friends but i'm waiting before doing anything with that. And with all that, I can also be found on that bluesky thing, I don't really do the social media stuff but it was worth getting an account I think, so feel free to follow there.

New year, stuff an' things
Posted 3 years agoHey Hey all, just a lil update on stuff comin' your way.
Well its a new year, its off to a pretty weirdly paced start for me, but I guess thats normal for me. The Post Christmas lead up to new years and then my birthday is always hectic. Now that its out the way what's goin on?
Well I got and started a new job just before the holiday period and work is picking up, hopefully giving me more to spend on lovely art, will probably still be at a reduced rate tho, cost of living 'n' all that.
My streaming is going on thick and fast pretty much at least 5 times a week, can find me on picarto under the name DazzleSweetTooth. My own personal art is going to be worked on much more this year to really make some headway with my skills. Currently I am very much lacking in some specific areas and skillsets.
I have a lil side project going on which some of is already leaked and posted about my page but I wont say much more until closer to the time of launch. Hopefully its going to be well received, keep an eye out for an art dump of related pictures and ya might figure out whats goin on.
Last of all, only have a trickle of art left to put up, a new character with a funny back story, some of Jay, and some fun with Dazzle.
Think thats all really, thanks for checking on my rambling. Might even do this again some time. TTYL

some kind of update
Posted 4 years ago Hey hey everyone, figured I should post an update or something about passing 100 followers, its pretty cool to me at least, always imagined this account as a small place for me to put my commissioned stuff and now it has more people following it than any other of my socials.
Speaking of socials I'm now streaming arts and things over at https://picarto.tv/DazzleSweetTooth might do some game stuff on there if they allow it, if not I'll start using my old Twitch account which is still linked on my profile here. I dont have a set scheduled yet but i've been trying to do it a few nights a week at minimum however im on hold at the moment after an incident at work I'm needing to rest my eyes after some nasty chemicals decided to get over friendly with my face XD
Back on the topic of 100+ followers, I feel like I should do something for that, but IDK what I should do, should I offer to get a commission with a randomly picked follower (all paid for by me of course) or should I just get a big commission of all my characters together, the number has certainly grown over time, I think im up to 8 plus an extra version of Jay at this point. But yeah, if anyone has any ideas of what i could do, drop some suggestions to me, would be interested to hear what peeps think.

So after not using this account for like a month or something I'm back and totally fine. Got a whole bunch of submission posts to get through, about 200 odd before reducing it down.
Shout out to those who chased me up to see if I was okay. I'm fine just been focussing on other things and some slight life changes.
But this seems like a good time to go over a few things:
I'm currently debating where to put some of my fursuit draw over pictures as i've tried to keep my furstuit stuff to my alt account but they're technically art so do I put them here? I'm also thinkning about where I should put pics of stuff I've done, art and crafty things. Dont wana put 'em up on the suiting account and I dont wana end up padding out this account since this is where most ma commissions and things end up. IDK, any input would be nice.

So basically I've had this two character commission slot open with an artist for over a year, they've been fairly unreliable in getting it done in that time but have put a plan in place to have their back log sorted. The time has come for me to put in for what i want and since I already got what i wanted from another artist I'm unsure of what to get really. So this is where I turn to you fine folks, I wana know if there's any of cha out there that would even consider getting involved with my lovely characters and what great ideas ya come up with.

But first lets go over some rules:
-watchers/friends only (bias towards friends)
-It can be SFW or NSFW up to you
-Nothing weird, creepy or extreme. I shouldn't have to explain this
-multiple entries are okay but please be reasonable with numbers
-At least one of my characters must be involved but you get to choose
-Additional slots for characters but that will be between me and the artist to discuss and may (probably will) incur extra cost on your part (this already cost me like $127 I aint forkin out more)
-Be civil and don't rag on anyone's ideas please, we're all nice here
-If you have any questions about what I like or I'm into, check my library first and DM me if its not there
-Don't be upset or mad if you are not chosen, Ideas may be saved for later
-I will be actively choosing the winner and if i cant decide i will use a randomised picker to aid in making the final pick
-Ultimately the artist will get to decline if they are willing to take the commission and whoever wins will be informed if it is turned down. I will then pick again.
-I will delete suggestions i find obscene or inappropriate
I have no idea how long this commission will take from the artist but i will let you know and forward the winner WiPs and the final piece.
