I've been posting on FA for about 4 years, this month! I can't believe it's been that long. I'd like to thank every watcher and commissioner for supporting me over the years. I've had some really rough patches where falling back on artwork had to pull me through. I know I'm not the most sociable person, but there is quite a sense of community here, and for that I am very grateful. <3

I'm sorry for the delay in opening regular commissions. It should be some time this week. I'll update when I have a firm date.

I've been kicking around this idea that might interest those of you who like the adoptable characters I create.

The basic concept is: you tell me species, sex, and some features you want on a character. I design and illustrate along the guidelines.
It wouldn't be as strict as a normal commission, as I wouldn't follow a detailed description, rather just take ideas from what you give me.
They also would be cheap! I'm thinking $35 for each character.

What do you think? If I decide to go for it, I think I'll run them alongside normal commissions (which I think I'll open in a few days, btw!)

A few things to announce.

1. I noticed a few people sending notes to me. Please do not send notes. I will no longer open notes. If you want to get in contact with me, use my email address: dizzybydesign[at]gmail.com I check it many times a day, usually. There is a note at the top of my main page saying this too.

2. I will be doing more adoptables because I find them very fun! Also, in addition to the first come first serve batches, I think I will be making special auction only adopts. I know people have mixed feelings about character auctions, that's why I've decided to try both. Auctions will give people who come later a chance to get that character they really want, while the batches are more for people who don't have the means or patience for bidding (I know I usually don't!)

3. US RESIDENTS! I recommend signing up for Dwolla.com as an alternative payment source! I will be running discounts for payments made through Dwolla in the future.

4. My life will be pretty busy for the rest of March, so I'm not sure when I will open commissions again. I will definitely announce in a journal beforehand, so keep and eye out if you're interested!

Sketch Commissions! THIS is the general style and completeness we are looking at.

$15 USD each, which includes 1 or 2 characters.
No limit per person.
Completion will be 1-3 days after receiving payment.
No revisions beyond minor fixes.

TO GET ONE:
1. Comment on THIS journal entry.
2. I will confirm it and put you on the list for however many slots you want.

Keep in mind when detailing what you want, that I won't be following extremely complex ideas, like I would with a normal commission.
For example: Character A and Character B, having sex missionary style. Make sure to show Character A's chest.I'd like the mood to be romantic. GOOD
Character A has his left hand on Character B's chest, and his right hand on the floor and I want a back angle and lots of spooge, and Character B's legs in this specific spreader bar and-- BAD

Long story short, I've had a medical issue recently and started on a new medication, so it's been a bit difficult to get back into the routine of everything. But I'm doing much better, in general life!

First point: I've been really busy at work due to the xmas season, and have been too exhausted to draw lately. Forgive my slowness, commissioners!

Second point: Tell me about your favorite/top kink or fetish, what specific parts you really like about it, and what aspects make it really great for you (or the reason why you think you psychologically and/or sexually click with it). I'm really interested in different experiences about this.

I'll share mine! I really like big body parts, especially breasts and scrotums (original, I know!) I think the attraction comes from the bragging angle, showing the big bodies and making others shocked or jealous. I also like the concept of the innocent character that doesn't know why they get so many stares over their big parts. Hmm... so it comes down to a power play in the end! Sexual or social power, rather than physical.

I'm back from thanksgiving vacation. I'll be starting work on commissions and more adoptables shortly!

ETA I'm really bogged down at work, and now I have a cold! Aha, my fate. Apologies on being slow on commissions!

I'm going to be visiting family from Nov. 24th to December 1st, and will be pretty much incommunicado during that time.

If you have paid for a commission, I will have at least a sketch to you before I leave, but will be on pause for that week of vacation. I won't be able to respond to emails until I return.

As I'm trucking along with commissions, I've been working on a few new adoptable characters (see the first batch.)

ON SUNDAY, around 5pm PST I will be opening 4 commission slots, in addition to 5 waiting list slots.
It's a new system I'm trying out, this is how it will work:

Slots will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
Active slots will fill first, then waiting list slots.
Commissioners on the waiting list will not need to transfer payment until they are bumped up to active.
Once all ten slots are accounted for, I will close until I am finished with the entire list.
Then the process starts over again with ten fresh slots!

On Sunday, I will be uploading an image with the new pricing, as well as updating my journal with further instruction.

It turned out there was damage to the motherboard, due to heat and just being damn old (or so it seems to layperson me). I managed to get what I didn't have backups of onto a flash drive in the meantime, which is a lot less than I imagined in my moments of oh-no-my-computer-is-broken-forever stress.

I used the fiasco as an excuse to order a new machine :3 It should be here next week, and I should be up and running again soon! Thank you for your concern, and for being patient <3 Commissions will open as soon as I clear out my queue. I'm thinking of doing another sketch special to ease the dent a new computer put in me, but we'll see about that!

I'm still on the road at the moment, but on my way home! However... my computer is... dead. It doesn't turn on. It was getting up in years but it could have suffered damage too...

I have backups of everything at home from right before I left, thankfully. I almost have enough funds saved to get a replacement machine at this point..

But the work I've managed on my trip so far is gone, so I apologize to my current commissioners. I'll get them done as fast as I can when I get a new computer set up. Should be by the end of the month... I'll keep you posted!
