My interest in creating key jewelry has faded and I need to make room for my pyrography passion. I will be selling wares at MFF in Artist Alley, including my key jewelry at clearance prices.

After a few months of stalking the registration site and chasing after the pushed back dates:

I'm finally registered for MFF! It's not until December, I know, but it makes me feel better to have that secured while I can secure it.

Now to work on badges!

Usually by this point I would be posting photos of all the bugs that are waking up and flying around. I even got a large, shiny camera to play with.

Unfortunately I had to order a new battery for it, so I have to wait a few days until I can run around stalking critters. I'll be easing my cravings with my phone camera until I get the proper equipment going.

Okay, I realize it's been a bloody long time since I posted anything, but I have kept up with my photography! Now that my computer and internet situation has finally been fixed I can start uploading things again. Now I'll prolly have to spread out the updates over a few days just so I don't end up spamming people's inbox with over a thousand photos at once.

So my actual plans didn't go as expected, but many surprises were enjoyed. I didn't sell any photos, but I sold a few necklaces. My videos will be finished uploading this weekend as well as my MFF blog post. You can find my youtube account and my blog link are in my contact information. The videos will be of Uncle Kage's Story Hour and Kage and 2-gether. I missed a bit of the beginnings of them, but I got the rest.

I'm extremely excited and rather nervous at the same time. This journal will be a babble mix of advertising myself and just getting my head straight.

Photos
I will be entering prints of my photos into the art show. I have 4 prints prepped already and plan on printing 11 more. This was a lot more than I expected to be able to do. There will be different sizes and it is a mix of both my old and new work. I few I haven't even shown here yet!

Jewelry
I have my other account that I sell my key jewelry from (see profile information for link). I FINALLY got enough money to order more chain, I'm just waiting for it to be actually ordered and sent. I will be selling them in the Artists' Alley next to my elder sister hopefully (she does amazing art herself). Then in early April I will be able to do online orders.

Costume
This year I am making my own pony suit. I will be the Mysterious Mare Do Well (winged version) from My Little Pony. With my elder sister's help we are getting closer and closer to finishing, but it's still a bit to do. Otherwise I'll just have my grey squirrel tail for running around photographing many things.

I'm really sorry and kinda sad for my inactivity as of late. My camera ran away from me and is still to be found. Also I managed to sprain my knee this week so it's going to be kinda hard to dig for it.

Okay, so first my computer after 12 overdue years of existing started electrocuting me. I take it to my brother and he takes it upon himself to FINALLY build me a new computer. After about a month I get a new computer but without my old information on it. So now I have to wait for the information transfer before I can post any photos. My camera is most likely going to run out of memory soon. Gack!

Didn't realized I had poofed for as long as I did. Which granted wasn't really that long, but just a bit too long for my taste. If that makes any sense to anyone I'm glad cause I'm not sure it did to me. I would blame it on my being ill but this kinda happens even when I'm healthy. >.>

My guinea pig Vincent just passed away today. Buried him under the pine tree in our backyard right between two close roots. I sent him off with a bit of food pellets, a bunch of timothy hay, and a handful of the shredded paper he loved to romp through. He was old beyond the regular life span of a guinea pig and had a tumor near his rump so I was kind of expecting it would happen soon. It was still a blow though.

Goodbye Vincent. You demanded quite a lot, but you were still a good piggy. May you run through fields of timothy hay and hills of fruits and veggies that your little piggy tummy can handle.

I'll miss you.

A small group of us plan on going to MFF again this year. There are going to be a few firsts. It's going to be my best bud's first furry convention, and it will be the first time I tried to sell prints of my photos.

I have 5 pieces so far from my older images already set up. I may plan on printing one or two of my newer images. I can't wait to give selling a try. It's always been a keen idea of mine. It's just going to be a long while.

I've noticed a lot of people have been assuming a number of the cats I photograph are all mine. I do actually mention who the cats belong to in the photo description.
I only have 2 black cats named Loki and Shippo. I also have a rabbit named Sid and a guinea pig named Vincent. That's about it.

Just wanted to make that clear.

Started the new year distracted by the final boss in a video game on my brother's PS3. Think that's how it was last year too now that I think about it. Except I was playing an online game on my computer. Guess I found a new tradition for myself. Didn't get to check the clock until 1 am.
