I pondered this name change about a year ago (check the journal entrees, yo) and I figure if it still bugs me a year later why the hell not eh? ;)

Posted 15 years agoEver get so busy that by the time you can step back and look at your art again you only see mistakes?
I need to get myself back to a lifedrawing club or lure in a naked hobo to draw with that last quarter of vodka in the fridge.
The last few times I've drawn I've become lost in the details and ultimately the image wasn't as loose as I would have liked. I pour hours and hours out, then step back and it looks like polished dog crap. So I start again. More time on framework for me.
I need to learn to work faster as well. I would love to be doing periodic fast commissions for people, but the last couple I did I ended up getting so tangled up with I spent 3 times the usual workload on them. This never used to be an issue. It's like getting limp in bed and you're like 'C'mon I wanna DO this!'
The most frustrating part is being too busy to work on it for now. See you guys in 2011 I guess ;)

For simplicity sake I'm pondering going with the less-derp name of 'Niska' I just opted for at Y!gallery.
It'd prolly be a huge pita for everyone, eh?
