Summer Time.
Posted 11 years agoSo...summer's weird.
It's nice to have free time to myself and just relax after the first year of college. But at the same time, I keep finding myself wanting to be back in school, busy with homework. It's an isolated summer, no doubt about it. I want to have an adventure. I want to go explore. Is that so bad?
Ah, well, guess I'll just have to try and get along with the family for the next month and a half. Having nowhere to be or go is a lot more stressful than I imagined...

First year almost done.
Posted 11 years agoI'm really shocked looking at a calendar and seeing that I've only got one week left in my first year of college. It just seems like it's gone extremely fast. I'm still trying to get my head around it all.
One thing I got to say about it so far: It's a lot easier than high school. At least, dealing with people. The classwork is tough, yeah, but it's a great deal better than what high school offered. And the people here are so interesting. I mean, there's still the whole problem with people being complicated and dramatic, and there's a lot more sides in conflicts. But it's quite a bit more easier to navigate around them.
I've got to say, college is great. I'm excited for the next couple of years. Then I'll hit my last year, get swamped with a bunch of senior stuff, start to absolutely hate it here, then get everything done and just coast till graduation. Next year's gonna be a blast, what with new classes, and the fact that I'll be living with one of the greatest friends I've ever had.
Now I just need to survive the boredom of summer....
