I'v had a very busy summer so far, stressful and hectic, but it's slowing down a lot now.
I'v slowly been working on things now, but my schedule has been turned all sorts of ways, so I'll be sleeping half of one day, and staying up all the next, finally passing out around 10pm and just..

all I'v got left to do is

all in these two journals.
Not much, really.
I'll be doing two YCH's real soon, both for cash. (Though if you make a good offer, I'll take points)
um.. don't know what else to put so..

For one, till my birthday.
But also, till my first tattoo.
I'm nervous, but also so excited!
So what it'll be pretty much is... you know what? I'm going to keep it a bit of a secret till it's done, then I will show you guys.
It'll be on my ribs though, so I'v been told by a lot of people that it'll hurt like a bitch and that I should reconsider.
I'm not going to reconsider. Not going to change the size or placement of it, all because they say it will hurt.
I know it will hurt, it's a needle going and stabbing my skin over and over for probably hours on end. I'v looked up some tips to help out with the process of getting the tattoo and such, and here they are:
Some Stuff To Do Before-hand:
Drink plenty of water
Eat a good meal
Bring snacks!
Get a good couple nights of rest before hand
No alcohol or drugs ( of course)
No blood thinners ( ibuprofen, Advil, etc.. )
Don't shave the area, let the artist do it themselves
Take a sugary drink/or anything with tons of sugars with you to keep your blood sugar up.
"For a tattoo on your ribs, you will probably need to be both shirtless and bra-less to get the work done. Think about what you will wear home and also plan outfits for the next few days that allow your ink to heal without chafing. Your tattoo will ITCH LIKE THE MADNESS so you do not want any seams rubbing against it. (And do not scratch it. Just don't. I did so once or twice absent mindedly forgetting *why* my back itched and HOLY COW OUCH.) " sonika on ask.metafilter
Pee before you start.
Follow your artists' aftercare instructions - mine have both advised A&D ointment. You might want to call the shop you're going to and ask about the aftercare so you can buy things ahead of time.
Bring a buddy to talk to
"Your artist will give you aftercare instructions. As long as you follow those instructions and keep it out of sunlight, don't go swimming, etc., you'll be fine. I've used A&D some times and dry-healed others and it always heals up fine. DO NOT PICK once it starts peeling. This is the hardest part for me because I'm sort of a compulsive picker, and as a result I sometimes get spots that need touch up because I picked at a scab before it was ready to come off and it took the color with it. But that will be less of a problem with outline - outlines don't really scab. It will probably just peel a tiny bit, like a sunburn." misskaz on ask.metafilter

"Don't wear a bra at all the day you get the tat done. Not after for obvious reasons, but don't put one on at all that day. The pressure from the band will distort the skin and make things more sensitive, and depending on how deeply your bra band cuts into you it may make life harder for the tattooist." So that's mostly what I got from the tattoo site where the artist works and also ask.metafilter with someone who had a similar question to mine.

Back from my trip to Washington, and oh thank god... Never have I been so happy to be gone from a state.
Too many allergies there.

I will be taking only a few, probably two, commissions at a time, and will only take more after I am completely done with the first batch. I'll also be doing more YCH Auctions, to raise quicker money, because let's face it, I can't get a fursuit or anything when I'm broke.
I will also be getting a job, most-likely tomorrow, so I will have days where I can't do any commissions, or I just need a break. I'll be getting good money at the Cannery though, $700 a month, so my dreams of having a fursuit will be closer than ever!
I just wanted to let you guys know, so you don't think I'm just sitting here on my fat ass using money I don't have for everything and not working on your guys's commissions.

Unless asked, I will not give WIP's
I will always give you the chance to see your commission before it's finished, no question.
I will not start the commission until I am fully paid.
It's just for precaution, as I had someone who wouldn't pay me after I posted the commission before.
I don't want to get ripped off by anyone.
I will happily fix anything that concerns or bothering you on your completed commission.
The whole point of a commission it to get what you like for yourself, so if you don't like it, it's not a good commission.
I will not do refunds unless I cannot do your commission, or I am too busy
Sometimes I can't work something right and it'll bother me on the commission enough that I can't do it..
I also have a very hectic life at certain times
I will need a visual reference sheet of your character, I am terrible with descriptions.
Even a doodle of what your character looks like, with a digital color palette is perfect to use
If I don't feel like it, I will decline your order.

I went to sleep at 12am and woke up at 2:455am wide awake
My arms and shoulders have been hurting for the past couple days, I'v been helping watching kids non-stop for a couple weeks now..
Haven't even been on the diet I wanted to start, haven't had to time to exercise or do anything besides take care of kids and draw a couple things.
Feel like I'm working myself into the ground currently, losing weight, getting headaches, body aches. Stupid FUCKing cramps that I'v had for the past 10 months now, almost 11.. Eyesight seems to be getting worse at times..
My grandma made it out of surgery, for which I'm so freaking grateful about, though she might have to stay another day for something
I'v mostly just ate anything I could get my hands on, small things mostly, some actual dinners, some pizza, and I'v weirdly enough.. lost weight? It might be stress related? but I don't know for sure..

Chibi Style Update
Posted 11 years agoI'v realized lately that my chibi style...well isn't so chibi any more. It's almost like my regular style, besides having thicker lines.
So I'v changed it a little. Made it smaller, and more simple.

Posted 11 years agoI am back and I had fun..kind of.. I got hurt rollerskating.
Went camping, got a couple bruises from rollerskating and also a skinned knee. Everything was alright.
OH! My brother let me drive his car for the first time. First time ever driving anything, and I didn't do too bad. I messed up a little in the beginning and my brother panicked and went to grab the wheel, so my sister and him switched places, so he was in the back seat and she was in the passenger seat. After that, it was all okay.. It was a stick shift, so I got confused with the clutch and everything but it was all good. My parking needs work, though.
I wasn't able to work on anything during the time at camp, but I will post some work tomorrow. Promise.
I'm going to relax myself and hope my headache goes away..

Diet Update
Posted 11 years agoIt's crappy so far. For one, we haven't had the chance to go and get some of the healthy food, though there are some things that are okay for me to eat. I have been exercising, though not yesterday since I could barely walk.. But I'm back!
Also talked to some people and read some things, getting myself motivated a little bit more.
Things I should do daily:
-Drink plenty of water.
-Portion my meals, and always have breakfast
-Exercise! walk 30 minutes eat day/ do more yoga/ plenty of other things
-Go out and do more things, instead of sitting at my computer so much
-Eat healthier (not going into detail on here, but I'v got a good plan)
-Have a variety of food, not just certain things
-Get better sleeping habits. (need to sleep for more than just 3-4 hours a night then)
-Take care of myself
-Don't push myself to far
-Don't give up.
I won't give up. I might have days where I will take a break or reward myself, but I want to get healthier, skinnier, and happier with myself. I'm not doing this for anyone but me.

Anywho, back to business.
I only have tomorrow, and three days next week till school is over and unfortunately next week is...
Finals.
I have been studying an cramming all week, even while having family problems and getting sick. I have ALSO been trying to work on commissions/art trades in my free time.
But I'm guessing you can tell from me not uploading anything, I haven't had much of it.
Well. I really hope to change that in the next few days.

So apparently some of the food I bought for my new diet didn't agree with my stomach, making me sick this week. Yeah... So I am still doing the diet, but in a smaller way. I am eating healthier, not as much junk food or a lot of non natural things (things with a lot of High Fructose corn syrup/ high sugars. things like that) I haven't had the chance to go out an exercise like I'v planned with all that's been going on, rushing from place to place, but I will start that once school is over. and I have more time on my hands.

Posted 11 years agoThat every single one of you guys is so amazing. I mean seriously, you guys are just awesome; your good artists, friends, and even more so, great people.
If your doing great or well, that so awesome, and if you aren't doing or feeling the best, I send my support.
I just want to say that no matter what anyone says, you guys are all amazing people with great talents and just... never let anyone change you.

And you are the most important.

Posted 11 years agoI really hate how my body looks currently, so I'm limiting myself certain thing and adding others. I'm also going to try out for track next year, so I need to become fit again. I'm a lazy ass right now.
Limiting:
Candy
Chocolate
Ice Cream
Chips
(Sadly) Pizza
Soda intake (it's small anyways, but still)
Unhealthy food in general
Adding:
Fruit ( apples, bananas, oranges, pears, all that good stuff )
Veggies ( broccoli, carrots, green beans )
Healthy drinks
Non-sugary juices
More meat
Rice cakes
Granola bars
More wheat bread
Oat meal
Lot more liquids
I'll also be doing exercise, such as:

Jogging
Running
Crunches
Push ups
Squats
Yoga
I'll be doing this for a month, or maybe all summer.
