My chair said goodbye and my back needs help

As all know, I spend most of the day drawing even when I have free time from commissions I use it to draw. It's not a complaint; being able to spend hours and hours drawing every day of my life is what makes me happiest, I truly love doing it. But unfortunately, my current chair has reached its limit, and I urgently need to replace it with an ergonomic model. The prolonged use of an inadequate chair and my stubbornness in ignoring health issues have caused me a postural misalignment that requires professional attention. I discovered the hard way that bad posture not only causes pain but is also physically exhausting, it worsens and increases the frequency of migraines that I already tend to suffer by default, and it even affects my stomach.
My goal is to raise a total of $800 USD to cover:
Ergonomic Chair: To ensure my spine is protected (estimated $300 USD).
Postural Physical Therapy: About 20 sessions to correct the misalignment and eliminate the pain (estimated $500 USD).

To reach this goal, the Angel YCH will be available all month, and I'm going to reopen some old YCHs (Wrong Way YCH and Soft Mud YCH) in an improved version.

Mama Toast keep getting better
General | Posted a year agoOk these two weeks have been crazy, I apologize for the delays. First my mother's progress is excellent, her bone is almost healthy and she has already started rehabilitation therapies.
Second of course when you are in bed you cannot move to go to the bathroom, so without having my own children I have been changing diapers for three weeks and honestly it is less work than I expected.
Third don't feel bad, I love my mother it doesn't bother me at all.
I will update the thread on Twitter with the details.
I love you all and thank you very much for supporting this humble bread.

General | Posted a year agoToday my mother completes her first week in bed, the routine is not as complicated as I thought it would be.
Yes it has really really been tiring but every day she is improving and has a very good attitude. Next Monday will have an x-ray to see the progress of the bone.

General | Posted a year agoYesterday an incident occurred in my family, my 58-year-old mother with a heart condition suffered a severe fall resulting in a fracture in the femur at the hip level.
Now she is resting, I am still processing what happened.
I will open some YCH and emergency commissions to cover the first medical expenses, for the moment I also need to rest.

Commission Open and good news

The first and most important is that I will finally raffle the commission for the 200 watchers (three months and 35 watchers late sorry) I will post the image in a few hours.
Secondly, some people have asked if I have open commissions, apart from the ych and the answer is yes. With prices per character between 30-60$ with full color etc.
Later I will make a post with all the details. At the moment, those interested can write by any of the usual methods Note here, Discord, Twitter or Telegram (all links in my information)
Third and the most exciting for me, after meditating for a long time and getting a little initial monetary support, I am going to start the development of my first video game for the moment under the temporary name Okamigumi.
A visual novel with different routes that tells the story of 4 characters, each playable on their own as if it were their own game. Decision making, small animations and minigames that make the experience more enjoyable for those who are not so passionate about this type of game and can give it a try, as well as enrich the game for those who do love this genre.
The vast majority of furry visual novels are dating sims with which I have no problem obviously having partner options for the characters will be a mechanic too.
This would be in concept, it will be a fairly large project and crowdfunding will be necessary. I need to pay for music, programming, translation and be able to eat the months it takes to do all the illustrations and the whole story. For this purpose, I am preparing for a teaser for the campaign.
It's something that really excites and scares me at least I'm going to try.
I know that I have the support of many wonderful people and I am eternally grateful to all.

Delay in deliveries
General | Posted 2 years agoIt seems that whenever I do a journal it is for bad things.
It seems to me the fastest and easiest way to inform everyone who has commissions and ych pending with me. There will be a small delay with deliveries and progress.
Today 3 / 30 / 2023 I had to sacrifice my oldest cat.
A cat that was in my family for more than 20 years it was like putting my little brother to sleep. This week developed a total kidney failure, there was no other solution than to see her simply dying in a corner.
It's the first time in my life that I have to do something like this. I know that everyone is capable of understanding my position now and I appreciate it very much.

With the collaboration of several beautiful people, the bill was reduced to $164 (Until now)
I did not continue publicizing the ych on sale because I wanted the first buyers to receive their commissions before.
I still remains to pay the bill and cover my family's expenses, the ych will continue to be available at a reduced price until the end of the month.
Another thing, we are only 1 Watcher out of 200! I will raffle a commission to celebrate it

Emergency sale to start the year
General | Posted 3 years agoYesterday I was talking with a friend about ideas for the next ych but not knowing that my cat had the best idea to start the year
A week ago I temporarily moved to my old house to spend the holidays with the family, my cat was somewhat strange at first due to the change of place but without any major problem until two days ago when he disappeared we were worried thinking that he could have escaped scared by fireworks or hurt by another cat attacking him. He has a slight mental disability so he can't fend for himself like a average cat.
We looked around and asked the neighbors but no one had seen it, this morning my mother called me saying that he had appeared in the backyard, was lying on the floor with a hind leg three times the normal size and a huge red bubble. I immediately wrapped him in a towel (he looked so bad I didn't want to keep him in his kennel) and rushed to the vet.
His paw was inflamed by accumulated blood and that red bubble was also blood that covered a small hole, apparently another cat bit him, digging his fang up and down with such force that it pierced both sides.
As the hole was very small, there was no blood loss, but was enough for a fly to land on. That last one seems to be that it was shortly before he returned home since the vet only found a couple of very small larvae. The bad side is that if you find one there are sure to be more.
At the moment, they managed to drain the blood and eliminate the larvae, but he must receive cures for several days and monitoring to check that he does not have any more larvae or eggs. If the situation worsens, he will need an operation, but for now it does not seem to be necessary.
So far 01/01/2023 the cost of veterinary care is approximately $400
To cover this expense, all published ych will have a price reduction, commissions are also open and anyone who wants (and can) help can share my work with interested people or donate at my paypal link
