Okay so, power go turned off a few days ago and I had to use all the money I had saved up to turn it back on and also borrowed money from a friend and then a family friend gave 100 after i had gotten it all paid off and turned on. so now we owe...1.8k? we are on a payment plan thing. Ms. Pip's health has taken a turn and I have a suspicion that the swelling in he face is a tumor in her nasal cavity. Next batch of commissions will be towards food because oh my god, but also towards Pip's end of life assessment and probable end of life service that will hopefully be in the home. Due to me having agoraphobia I am currently unable to take her to the vet or be with her so I am trying to get a mobile euthanasia vet to come and do the service. Boodreaux has lost alot of weight and it hurts him to eat. Dental in the united states is absurd. even for animals. so thats an easy 1k right there.

car still needs 1.5k for the crucial repairs.

Food once again is getting scarce. I have scrounged and found frozen meat we got from the foodbank that we can maybe make something with. don't get paid till the 1st, which is monday but thankfully we have thanksgiving meal that will help us. I'm hungry right now and gotta think of something to eat. nothing quick.

I may have to go back to regular prices for commissions because again, money. need alot of it. just to fix all my most crucial problems right now and not all the other issues that need fixed but can...wait i guess? 1.8 for power, 1.5 for car and then another like 1k for the car's less crucial issues, 1k for boodreaux, 500 for pip, 300ish for daisy, 200 for snugglepuss, unknown amount for the leaking and worsening leak of the roof, about 5k for the kitchen sink and the water damage, 7.2k for new flooring unknown esitmate for subflooring. 20k+. i need like 20k most likely more because rooves are espensive.

its hard when food and other regular costs end up eating anything. being on disability i am limited in how much i can make in a month as well. idk about donations tho which sucks because i prefer to work for my money.

[update 11/13/2025 2:50pm] grandma had he pacemaker batter replaced and is on her way home! mom and I are still working on a pain management place that will give her, her meds.


OKAY! Car got fixed! yay!... the mechanic discovered even worse issues so! oil still needs changed. brakes and rotors still need replaced. u joint is still messed up. BUT NOW the water pump and timing belt need replaced. what did get fixed? the hose from the radiator to the fill tank. the mechanic seems to be trying to help with the water pump and timing belt situation because the cost could be like 2k to fix.

insurance has decided NOT to fix our collapsed and leaking kitchen sink. what is insurance even for?

Grandma is home, on oxygen and has an appointment on thursday to replace her pacemaker battery. her cardiologist says that after the replacement, she likely won't need oxygen and will feel ALOT better. she gets exhausted going 20 ft to her bathroom and back. she got out of the hospital about 3 weeks ago, had her pacemaker checked (hospital said they would but never did...for some reason?) at her cardiologists last week (around thursday?). the surgery is local so she'll be awake for it and should be home same day.

mom went down last saturday and has gotten back up and is feeling better. her stress induced cleaning frenzy caught up to her but she's doing better. she's on ibrance still and has appointments next week for CT's and MRI's. her pain managment decided to drop her though so we are working on getting a new one. places in the U.S. really hate giving pain meds to people sometimes. she has 4th stage breast cancer, what's the issue?

with the help of my therapist and some new coping mechanisms I've been able to heighten my ability to combat my panic attacks so they don't get so bad. yay! I also did yard work 2 days in a row and am a bit sore but mostly sunburnt. when you're used to not going out in the sun, any amount of exposure burns you...and your eyes. yes, you can get sun burnt eyes.

we owe 800 to property taxes so I'm working on getting money for that now too. Always on that grind. Thank you all again for the boosting, well wishes and commissions!

Thought I'd make a dedicated Journal for updates and just to update people on the situation.

Okay so food is running out again and we can't really spend anymore money because that's the money to fix the car. and I'm worried it won't be enough (we had to spend alot on food. grocery prices in the U.S. are no joke)

anxiety scale. 1-5 is an anxiety attack. 1 is more general anxiety and the attack starts at about a 2-3. 3-5 are def anxiety attacks. 6-10 is a panic attack. anything past 10 is a terror attack. I have had a couple, they are the WORST. after almost 20 years with this disorder, I know the differences pretty well.

Starting sunday I had a very bad panic attack. 10/10 level because mom went to the store and My anxiety disorder decided this was the worst thing to happen to me. My grandma was IN THE HOUSE WITH ME so idk why but yeah. it maybe should be classified as a terror attack. 11/10. monday I had a freak out because what if I have another bad panic attack because my grandma's at the doctor's? this causes my grandma to miss her appointment to get her pacemaker battery checked. wednesday grandma's health declines(it had been declining) and I have another anxiety attack when mom leaves for cigs but I do good. its like a 6/10. maybe more of a 5/10. Thursday grandma has to go to they hospital because her blood ox drops to 83 at one point so grandma is in the hospital. While waiting and a bit after she leaves, I have another panic attack. more of a 9/10 this time but still very stressful and bad. she won't be coming home today (10/17/2025) but maybe tomorrow, hopefully. Mom used to be a CNA and knows the ins and outs and is trying to get more info on what the issue is and because of OCD reasons I don't want to say anything yet.

This also means, because of my separation anxiety when alone (and occasionally when I'm not...i hate anxiety disorder's they are so stupid) I would prefer to have my mom not go to a store right now. I have had a rough week. but I only have like...35 and 75 on our cards (my mom and grandma's(my mom and I share a card)) WHICE MEANS! ordering groceries is difficult because of the low amounts (and also alot of places won't allow multiple cards for 1 order) So I continue to need money. I PREFER TO WORK FOR MY MONEY! so commissions are much appreciated. if you want to help but maybe don't like my style, or truly don't want a commission, you can commission me to just, draw my own characters. I would prefer to work for the money, I do have a donation page on Ko-fi tho.

OKAY! so food insecurity has been solved...for now, plus its the 1st...well 2nd but the beginning of the month so! I have my disability check. I have gathered enough money to MAYBE get some of the car fixed. maybe just the leak I have been trying to get my mom to call the family friend who's a mechanic but if she keeps delaying it I will be calling around to mechanics in the area and asking them instead. But thank you again! I would have ran out of food without yall and i am eternally greatful!

Daisy and Pip still need to go to the vet and I suspect Daisy might be an expensive case compared to Pip but we won't know till they get seen. So, yeah. I still need money for car repairs because I know what I have isn't going to be enough for ALL the fixes. I need a brake and rotor job. oil change. U Joint fixed. tags and late registration fee along with whatever needs fixed if it doesn't pass emissions.

I will update this whenever there is any new info but for now, I am finishing up a commission from the 1st batch and then will be signal boosting again along with continuing to pester my mom about the mechanic. (reason I don't contact him myself is because We do not know eachother. He knows my mom and grandma, I do not know him)

Food: is starting to thin out again. we have some ingredients but also missing meats. I can make certain things myself but not without meat or certain veggies. I also need to figure out new recipes so if you have any drop a link or put in a recipe in the comments!

Car:The mechanic pulled through and said he can fix it for alot less than what i was expecting. so yay! we'll be able to drop it off/pick up soon

Glasses can't get an at home appointment until like, mid november SO! i got my old prescription and used it to buy a new pair to hold off till i get my new prescription and hopefully corrective lenses.

Cats pip and daisy are stable but guess who seems to need dental care? a completely different cat. Boodreaux's gums are red and he's having trouble eating. so another one for the pile. so that's like 1k alone for dental on top of daisy and pip's vet care. so we lookin at a smoove 2k minimum.

I'm super happy and super greatful! my mom's back on her cancer meds and the cancer has gone away in some places but has spread in other new ones so it remains sort of neutral. the end of life services vet told me Ms. Pip isn't actively dying and could def get treatment. I am as happy as a little lark!...but...there are some issues. We are running out of food, the car broke down on the way home from my mom's oncology appointment, Ms. Pip needs to actually go to the vet and so does another cat, Daisy. and i need glasses...There's so much more but those are the biggest issues right now.

The family car needs an oil change and oil filter change (confident i could do that myself but still need money for the oil and new filter). the U Joint needs fixed, the tags are expired but i don't think the car will pass emissions so it needs upkeep on whatever will let it pass emissions. then i need the money for the late fee for the tags (like $100 on top of the usual tag cost). it is guzzling water and the tank isn't filling so there's a leak in the cooling system somewhere and THAT needs fixed. also whatever caused it to break down and need a jump needs fixed.

Ms. Pip likely just needs an antibiotic shot which is around $100 on top of the $70ish exam fee. Daisy the same but might need special ear drops.

FOOD! WE NEED FOOD. we don't have potatoes. we have like 1 onion. there's some torillas some canned food that is just...ingredients. we have some ground beef and some chicken breast I'll be making tonight. its rough out here and with the car the way it is we can't exactly go sell stuff or go to a food bank. and the one that delivers takes 2 weeks... this is THE most pressing matter right now.

I also need glasses...this seems small but! I have BVD. Binocular Vision Dysfunction. I also have an anxiety disorder + Agoraphobia. mix this with BVD and doing exposure therapy is 10x more difficult. I wanna get out again and live life with my mom and grandma. I've wasted 10 years doing jack shit. I wanna live again. maybe even one day get a job! let's not get too hasty though a job out in the world is FAR FAR FAR away. but in the mean time, If I could go to the store with my mom. the park, the lake. that would be amazing. I have been given a blessing of 10 years with my mom with her cancer and here's hoping for many more and I want to actually go out be in the world and do the things she talked about while i was still in her belly. She'd drive to work and talk to me. going to concerts. going on road trips. experience so many firsts with me and I have squandered alot of time and DAMMIT i wanna live again. I can't do that without a working car, food, healthy pets and yes, glasses.

so I will be DRASTICALLY lowering my commission prices and I will not be cutting of alots until a certain goal is reached. First is food. Can't accomplish anything without eating. I want the next goal to be Ms. Pip and then Daisy but um...the car...but the car is the most expensive. so we will see if a neighbor can give my mom a ride (i am agoraphobic and homebound). then...well probably more food but THE CAR. THAT FUCKING CAR. I have confidence I could replace the Rotors, Brakes and do the oil change but my family probably wants a professional working on the brakes. I CAN STILL DO THE OIL DAMMIT.

I’m starting up a dual Patreon in July. Mostly for my webcomic but I will have a tier just for nsfw works and potentially a nsfw comic coming in the future.

I am, riskily, using my mother's phone because she didn't accidentally use up all her mobile data like a certain someone.

We were also instructed to take brownie to a vet in around 4 days for a check up on his kidney levels. And since this obstruction happened once it could happen again, so we currently need around 5k for his…penis removal surgery which will make a wider opening. Males cats have very narrow openings on their penis and that means even tiny crystals can cats obstructions. Removing some of his penis and then leaving the base would prevent the smaller crystals from causing obstructions. So please continue to spread the word! Thank you all so much.

Oh! Brownie is doing good. He’s peeing which is good obviously. It’s frequent in small amounts but it is pee! He ate a lot of wet and dry yesterday and got LOTS of love from my mom. He’s a bit weary of me but I did get to love on him too!

We took him to the emergency vet and he’s currently there with my mom. The vet said he has a blockage which…sucks. They want to keep him around 4 days and even just keeping him and doing things tonight is going to be 500usd+. My family is on disability and makes 3k A MONTH. I just noticed I hadn’t updated in 5 months. She’s actually made a pretty full recovery! She’s pretty much back to normal though her memory is a bit wonky and she’s not the most graceful, having fallen a couple times, but besides that she’s just as good as before the west Nile+meningitis+encephalitis! I know it’s been a hot minute since I posted about my situation. Things are still very tight financially but my grandmother is home from the hospital though her meds make her loopy but without the dosage she’s in a lot of pain. The health department sent a letter and we called but they want my grandmother’s okay to talk to us about her diagnosis. It’s looking like this might actually be West Nile virus. Apparently she had meningitis and encephalitis likely caused by WNV.

She mostly sleeps and we are doing our best with her home care. We try to make her eat at least once a day to her chagrin. She mostly just wants to sleep, she’s very fatigued. She could use some things like a new baby monitor that is rechargeable instead of these that take 9volt batteries.

Besides financial troubles taking care of her and our rescue we have had our hands full and it’s been very tiring mentally and physically especially for my mother. She’s very much the glue and back bone to this whole situation. Without her knowledge of the U.S. hospital system we might not have my grandma here today.

Like I said earlier, we are very much financially needy and need all kinds of odd this to help in her assistance since she is bed bound.

Hello, I am writing this because my grandma is in the hospital and isn’t the most lucid right now. She is the one who handles our bills and other finances of the sort and we aren’t exactly sure what bills she paid or hasn’t paid this month. My mother and I spent our money buying food for us, my grandmother and our many cats so in terms of us picking up the slack we currently cannot.

We could use some financial help. Though we spent a lot on food we still lack a good bit. We should be fine for now but toward the middle and end of the month we may struggle. We however aren’t the best on toiletries like toilet paper or even dish soap. My grandmother also took care of those and wasn’t able too before she got sick. We have to pay 200 to a very shitty company who it took them a year of trying to screw us over before they actually fixed our roof after part of it flew off in 2021. They have a Lean on our house so if we don’t make payments to them they could take our house.

Not to mention we still haven’t been able to take our cats to get their teeth taken out for their stomatitis.

There’s now pricing on whether the commission is a bust, half, or full body and there’s also background pricing. Leaky cave still has its own pricing.

All these will be covered on the new pricing sheet.

I can take a few sketches in the meantime though. So please email me with your username and your request if you are interested. New commissioners will have to verify their age and have their gallery and favorites checked. I would also like to note none of these commissions may be sold as NFTs nor can any of my art.
