More mice

Added another pic after some time.
After watching an old VHS Cinderella and having nothing else to do with an idle mind. Seems I’m making a habit of mine of researching a little about the characters I'm drawing. Discovered that three of the mice girls have names: Perla wears a purple dress, Suzy wears a blue/green, and Mary wears pink dress. But Mary only appears in Cinderella 2, which I didn’t know they made a sequel.
But this is part of a composite pic I’m planning to finish. Drew them quite quickly this t time and ope I don’t become too lazy & not finish it. Which seems I’m making a habit of it also.

Forgot how much work it is in drawing, I thought I would be done in a few days. I was wrong.
Working only in the evenings, it took me about 15 hours to finally decide a pose & complete a draft sketch of my version of the character Mrs. Brisby from “The Secrets of NIMH” before finally posting it 15 days ago. In the mean time learning how to use the program SAI painter tool, using the sketch of the mouse to practice inking it and posting it 4 days ago. It took me a while to choose the tool pen & size of brush to use for the sketch. Fortunately I had enough practice using the drawing tablet.
Again I spent the evenings fixing minor details on the line sketch, removing some unwanted details, like fixing the hair, fixing the left arm & leg a little. Then finally coloring it & posting it today.
Gotta say… like how she turned out. Hope all who sees my work enjoys it.

My first submission

Finally!!!!
I think it was just fear of criticism more then anything else that kept me from submitting anything. After more then 15years after I stopped drawing, this is one of my pics while practicing some time to regain my ability to draw. You can see I used to draw pretty well. Since this is a work still in progress, it posted it in “Scraps”. Learned today it doesn’t display in my “Latest Submission” section in my userpage if posted in the "Scraps".
Well… for all my affort… I hope you like it.

Submitting tomorrow my first sketch.
General | Posted 16 years agoNever wrote anything on my journals & even stopped commenting on Fur Affinity, only browsing. Not enough time. But still I kept practicing drawing, I would stop then continue then stop again, sometimes months at a time. I can’t get back if I let months go buy like that. How can you get better? Still learning how to color using my old Adobe Photoshop 7 and learning hand eye control using my Havon drawing tablet, which I got at a good price. I’m happy with the tablet.
Tried to submit my first sketch tonight but for some reason it crashes. I'll try again tomorrow.
