Apawcolypse: A Furry Foot Fetish CYOA Dev log (9/14/25)

After almost a month, I finally found some time to work on the game some more. I have added a "game over gallery" to the title screen, which when clicked, will take you to a list of every game over you have managed to get as a player. I have decided on seven game overs as of right now, and have finally figured out the them for each creature.
Game over themes:
1.) Rat - Sweaty & musky feet (as seen here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/61691930/)
2.) Rabbit - Hugging, kissing, and loving the player (pawjobs are his way of saying to the player, "I REALLY love you owo~").
3.) Cheetah - Role reversal (The player becomes the dominant one for once).
4.) Wolf - Pet play (Good little doggies lick their master's paws and suck their master's toes all day, every day).
5.) Bear - Macro / Micro (Turns out the government secretly perfected shrink ray technology just before the apawcolypse).
6.) Hawk - TFTG (When your not polishing your mate's talons with your tongue, he's pounding his cock into your newly-formed vagina. Maybe you'll lay eggs some day.~)
7.) Frog - Slime & long tongues (Frogs are underrated. Combining frogs, feet, tf, and tongues all in one story has been a dream of mine for ages).
These themes are not set in stone, and are subject to change for the game's release (examples: I swapped an alligator tf with a frog tf. Sorry scalies. I'm also not certain if the hawk will remain a hawk. I'm thinking of changing it to an owl or raven / crow).
REMINDER:
Since this is a side project, updates will be infrequent and work on the game will be sporadic. In an ideal world, it will release before the end of 2025, but I cannot by any means guarantee that.

Apawcolypse: A Furry Foot Fetish CYOA Dev log (8/20/25)

I've made some progress in the last 8 days. I have completed the "Cheetah" area of the game, with the exception of the game over (I'm leaving the game overs to the end of the development cycle since they're going to take up the majority of my time. I want them to be "proper" stories after all, with a minimum of 3500 words per game over).
Here's what that looks like in chart form:
Completed Game Areas:
Rat Area: Complete
Rabbit Area: Complete (except game over)
Cheetah Area: Complete (except game over)
Next Area that will be work on:
Wolf Area: No code, but I do have a general concept
Areas I haven't touched yet:
Bear Area, Hawk Area, Alligator Area
Other notable things I've done since last time: Reworked the clunky inventory system, and revamped the look of each of twine passages (the game is now much more ascetically pleasing on the development side since I now know where everything is, and have a structure for all the game's sequences that I can follow).
REMINDER:
Since this is a side project, updates will be infrequent and work on the game will be sporadic. In an ideal world, it will release before the end of 2025, but I cannot by any means guarantee that.

Apawcolypse: A Furry Foot Fetish CYOA Dev log (8/12/25)

Wanted to give an update on my upcoming game: Apawcolypse: A Furry Foot Fetish CYOA. If you just want to know what state the game is in, a TL;DR will be at the end of this post explaining the current state of the game.
The game is being developed using Twine, an open source tool used by many others to create interactive stories and Choose Your Own Adventure stories. As someone with literally zero coding experience, it's been a surprisingly easy learning curve creating the game so far. There are still challenges and obstacles to overcome, of course, but it amazes me how much I've been able to accomplish with YouTube tutorials and help from a friend.
The game takes place in a military bunker that you, the player, have to escape from. Before you can escape, you must gather supplies hidden throughout the bunker, all the while avoiding the games enemies: The Freaks.
The Freaks are various humans-turned-horny-anthros that all have an obsession with feet and paws. If you make the wrong decisions throughout the game, it will result in a variety of game overs, all of which revolve around a different aspect of foot fetishism. The bunker is separated into eight primary locations, meaning there are eight possible game overs for you to achieve. Each game over will involve a different species of anthro, and a different foot focused scenario. So far, I plan to include the following creatures: Rat, Rabbit, Cheetah, Hyena, Bear, Wolf, Hawk, and Alligator. Most scenarios will include hypnosis / mind control, as well as you, the player, ending up in the submissive position, but there will be opportunities take on the dominant position as well.
YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO RESTART THE ENTIRE GAME IF YOU RECEIVE A GAME OVER!!!
I have included the option for you to revert back to your previous choice if you get a game over, which is something very few games are willing to do for some reason.
As for the game's mechanics, I have created a working inventory and list of items that will need to be collected. The inventory will list out the items you have, as well as the items you have yet to collect. The locations of these items are not revealed outright, but if you're observant, you'll be able to get an idea for where to search for certain items (example: You need to collect food, so it might be a good idea to check out the mess hall, etc.)
