In short, it's in retaliation to the clear threats of violence and death against Matt Stone and Trey Parker, creators of Southpark, by US Muslim extremists for their depiction of Mohammed in a bear suit in their recent 200th episode and Comedy Central's actions to appease said extremists through censorship. I want to do all in my power to spread this around, because no one, not even Islam, is safe from criticism and ridicule, deserved or undeserved, under our great and born-with right to freedom of speech. Even the hate mongering and death mongering words spewed by these disgusting zealots who have threatened Matt Stone and Trey Parker are protected by that right. The criticism of them and their religion is no fucking different, and I intend to make that clear as I can with what little I have.

Due to the fact that I couldn't draw a straight line with a ruler, I don't think I'll be participating in this. However, I feel strongly compelled to share this with everyone I possibly can. Who better than a community of artists like Fur Affinity? ]:8D

So far, I can do amateur renditions of: Kraid's Lair from Metroid, Mt. Ordeals from FF4, Legend of Zelda's dungeon music from both the 1st and 2nd games (and since they begin/end on the same notes I flow from 1 to 2 haha), and most recently Elec Man's stage from Mega Man.

just keep in mind I am playing by ear and rather beginner, so try and make sure it's something I could reasonably learn by ear that isn't insanely long or crazy fast ]:8P

For anyone not up to speed, the Texas Board of Education is a huge consumer of text books, so many publishers reflect in their books the decisions made in Texas. Some majorly psycho fuck Christian conservatives have taken over the majority of the board and are trying to, quite simply, change reality and change history while promoting a white christian conservative mindset and agenda for the future of America's educational system. They care not about "balancing" out the education children receive with conservative view points but in fact want to change reality as we know it. They even succeeded in removing Thomas Jefferson from the curriculum. Why? Because he coined the phrase "separation of church and state" and these people are trying to turn America into a Christian nation.

It's disgusting, it's maddening, and it's wrong. Take part and fight against this in any way you can.

So first off, I must apologize to everyone for not being here these past few months...suffice it to say, it's been sorta rough...lost my job, then nearly wound up living in my car for a bit. Thankfully, I didn't have to sleep on the side of the road thanks to some very good friends. I also wound up losing my computer to the magical blue smoke that occasionally accompanies the computer trying to harness the power of lightening. Now that thats out of the way...

I'm ready to start development on the site again! HOWEVER, I need your help, specifically with the following:

Design: someone who doesn't necessarily have to have any sort of drawing abilities, but is excellent with CSS, HTML, and Photoshop. If you're familiar with the Smarty Templating system, all the better! If not, I can help in that department, as it's relatively easy.

Coding: PHP, MySQL, and maybe C or Perl or something along those lines.

My basic plan is for now to get chat profiles 100% working...I've got the basic structure, though as I'm working nights now, my time is limited as to when I can work on stuff, so I need someone who can help me out a bit here and there. Once the profiles are done, we'll move back to using Mibbit for chat (which will include the profile system in a custom interface), while we work on building our own version of Voodoo (what we used to use, and what eka's currently uses). Once that's done, we'll be moving servers again back to our own 100% dedicated server, which will speed up the site, and give us the ability to do alot more. Once we get settled in, the final project begins: building our own site instead of using a pre-built, buggy, unreliably, inflexible POS that is drupal, postnuke/phpnuke, etc.

Thats right, you heard me, we're planning on building our own site completely 100% from scratch, similar to what y!gallery or furaffinity has done (just using them as examples).

So gather the posse, and find anyone and everyone you can who can pitch in and help with development, doesnt matter if their gay, straight, into or not into vore. If they don't mind our company, then by all means, lets round 'em up and get the ball rolling!

Talen's been busy moving, finding a job, and lacking a working computer and internet. Apparently, the site was supposed to be on auto renewal but it wasn't, unless something else took it down. Talen should have things looked into and the site back hopefully by the weekend.

I'm warning you now that I am posting this over a few separate places. It'll essentially be a first come first serve basis, so if you miss out, sorry ]:8X I would prefer people I know, though, but I can stretch that if need be lol.

Two room mate hopefuls are unable to go, but I picked up another, however he can't handle splitting two ways and I'd certainly rather not do that let alone pay the room entirely on my own ]:8P SO! If you think you can make it, and just need a room, or your current room is overflowing, I can bring in 1, maybe 2 more people. I will be arriving around 8 PM Thursday by train. The room is in the Doubletree. It's a queen bed though, so if we have 4 people we might need a air mattress or something so that'd be your responsibility.

One important note, though... My train leaves Monday morning at like 7:05 AM. I can see about allowing my room mates the time to sleep and get themselves ready to leave by the appointed checkout time, but please be aware that you might have to be ready to leave the room by 6:30 AM.

There's discussion going on about getting a commercial game made that will be featuring some vore, as well as (once it's more or less done) working on tacking on a bunch of extra gay vore stuff to enjoy. Check out the discussion and if you think you could help with sounds, music, art, or programming, please let yourself be known.

Currently, it's hoped that either an original engine can be made from scratch, or we use something professional, and I've suggested Torque. Since I've got a copy of the 2D Torque Engine through college, I could distribute it if necessary and get ourselves working on the game, then once we've got a working prototype and the real possibility of making a commercial game out of this (and, of course, getting the "adult" and highly vorish version out there) we can purchase however many licenses we need for Torque and finish the game without my student copy.

Mmkay... First trojan hits, try fixing it, finally reinstall and reformat. Somehow over the next month or so Ad-Aware keeps telling me it's stopping a process, then... just stops stopping it and I have another trojan. Reinstall and reformat again, decide for whatever reason no ad-aware this time... Eventually happens again. The next time I clear out a lot of shit, reformat both partitions basically, and... within ONE FUCKING DAY... For whatever reason it seems to be popping up again at about the same time as the first, about 3:04 AM. Here I am, once more, reformatted, reinstalled, cleared every HTML and .exe file I could find, reformatted both partitions again.

I'm tired of this, and I am not looking forward to bucking down and just wiping the absolutely entire drive since I've gigs and gigs of documents, music, videos, and of course my folders of vore and porn... ]:8P Shit, even in this overly stressful load of bullshit I seem to keep myself positive.

Basically, worse comes to worse, I'll be needed help getting my buddy lists restored but a few too many people I only really contact through it. Wish me luck, guys, feh...
