General | Posted 18 years agoYup, thats right, its 3am and I have school tomorrow. Why am I still up you ask? Because I have homework due tomorrow that and for the life of me I can't remember what that is...
Or... maybe its because I bought me a new computer chair that I can't afford (which I potentially screwed myself over by buying it). But, Its really comfy and I needed it cause I broke my last fold out chair that I had. SOOO maybe now my back will hurt less often. You should see this thing, it looks like a space captain chair! If I had a camera I'd show you, but I don't cause I'm poor as hell... especially now. So you can blame my chair that I can't show you my chair...

Well... it kinda came from a character I made way back in middle school, which was a name that kinda sounded similar but wasn't. When I started playing Star Wars Galaxies the name changed to Dekri. For some reason I carried it onto other games, and from then on the name stuck.

Arctic Fox. I chose it because whenever I was trying to come up with a species it always led back to a fox (I blame that on my crush for Miles "Tails" Prower :P), But I didn't want to be a red fox. Thinkin about tattoo's
General | Posted 18 years agoI kinda wanna get a tattoo, but every time I talk myself into actually considering getting one, I end up talking myself out of it. 'm not sure whether it's worth scaring my body for life. Which brings up the content idea, I know what I want to get, but I don't know if it would look good as a tattoo. My idea is to have things that I grew up with and shaped me all grouped into one. It would probably include... The Denver skyline, pool skateboarding (in some way), and the Mountains. Most of my life has revolved around these. Like I said though, I don't know how well that would translate into a tattoo.
If any of you are good at doing tattoo designs let me know. I would be interested in borrowing your services to either thinking of something to do or actually coming up with a design for me (which I would pay you for). I am just not good at that sort of art.

I don't think I can stand my job for very much longer. I work at CompUSA, at one point I could honestly say that it was the best job I ever had. Everybody I worked with was cool, everybody was laid back. Then it all went to shit. They laid more then half the store off, and left me to do a 4 to 5 person job by myself. I guess my job title would be Merchandising, but lately they want me to work warehouse as well. Which also took a major hit in the lay offs. I put up with for a while, except the have me working in the warehouse most of the time. Which doesn't really bother me. Recently though we had the store audited, and we failed miserably, and it all came down on me, since I'm the major one to keep the store looking good, even though im back in the warehouse majority of the time.
Well now, my GM wants me to basically redo the whole store, make sure every shelf tag is out and current, do the ads everyweek, pull all nighters working in the store fixing it up, and working in the warehouse. Everything has to be caught up in under 10 days, and I have a vacation over the weekend coming up. So that leaves me with even less time.
At the moment I'm being paid $8.50/hour, which with the stress I feel im under now and the amount of work I do feels extremely low. They told me I would get a raise at 6 months, well it is now 8 months and they just keep saying, "well get to it" blah, blah, blah. Apparently my raise is only gonna be about %10.
Which also gets me thinking, does anybody else know what other merchandisers/warehouse recievers at other stores gets paid? I feel like my time and energy spent on working hard to keep the GM happy is worth more the $8.50/hour. But if thats the standard pay for my position then I'm more content with it, even though I still wont' like it.

General | Posted 18 years agoThis sucks... Your not gonna see much from me for a while and heres why... I upgraded to Windows Vista because they are releasing Halo 2 on the PC but only for Vista. And I am a HUGE Halo fanatic. So it really wasn't an option for me to stay with XP. But now, because both HP and Windows are retards, my scanner won't work. HP isn't releasing drivers for Vista for their older stuff. I've been trying to find a work around, but so far I've had no luck.
My scanner is a HP Scanjet 4300C. If any of you know of a way to get it to work it would be greatly appreciated. So Until I get this little issue worked out or I work up enough money to buy a new scanner, there won't be anything to post from me. Its a shame too, I just got Photoshop CS3 and Painter X and I really want to play around with them.

General | Posted 18 years agoI haven't been drawing as much as I really want to. I'm having trouble even getting my animations from school done. But I'm hoping to get some time to draw for myself in this summer, which is starting in about a month... WOOHOO!!! I've got a couple drawings just kind of sitting around waiting to be inked and colored.
Other then that, I'm exhausted. I would love to have some time to myself just to sit and think. I'll possibly pick up photography again this summer just so I can go out and be alone in some peaceful areas.

General | Posted 19 years agoSo, the story goes... Recently I have really come into furriness. By that I mean, hanging out with other furs and seeing it as a lifestyle. But the problem is, as my buddy Pawz pointed out, Furs have a way of pulling things out of you. Thats not neccesarily a bad thing, but I have recently come out with some things that I thought would always be kept to myself, things I didn't really want others to know about me. So here I am, living two lives basically, and I'm afraid one is going to catch up to the other and my life is going to change drastically.
Good news is, with all this furriness around me, I feel more inspired. I am currently in the prossess of creating pawgloves :D! So far I only have the left one done, and its a bit sketchy, seeing how I've never made anything with cloth in my life. I'm feeling much more inspired to draw.
So it will definitly be an interesting few months ahead of me, hopefully leading for the best, both mentally and visually.
