Posted 5 months agoARTIST UPDATE: 4/10/2025
A friend of mine has passed. I will be taking a small hiatus to grieve with my support circle, and to create for her. updates may be sent in the next two weeks, but allow me grace to remember her.

TRANSMASC IN NEED: Consider a commission?
Posted 6 months agohey yall, i know everyone's struggling, and unfortunately, im no exception. I've been grinding my day job and art relentlessly to make ends meet, and im 90% there, but i need just a little more to be safe, afford food and my meds. Commissions have been SLOW since OCT, and even just one or two commissions would really help me along.
As i strive for the last push, any and all support would really mean alot c:
As usual, you can check my prices here -> https://www.furaffinity.net/commissions/delanyx/

Top surgery; Art Goals; Life
Posted a year agoI am,,, SO BAD about posting life updates on here, and am hoping to change that moving forward, after realising how big of a community ive gathered here over the years. Things have changed so much since my 2021 journal, but theyve changed for the better, i think.
For the main one, im officially a month post top surgery! All my doctors have said everything is healing well, and despite a small scare in the ER earlier this week, its all literally just growing pains from losing so much mass. (6.5lbs to be exact :,^] ) I've literally dreamed of this day for so long, and im a little shocked to finally be there? For years, i had resigned myself to just never being considered a man due to how large my chest was, but now i actually get called sir or dude in public and it just feels fucking fantastic.
In other cool news, i'm now officially a staff artist for BLFC! Its been a huge honor, and if your going this year, catch my art on the badges and lanyards for con c:
I have additional goal of hoping to make more nsfw content,, and finally, hopefully, start posting some more nsfw comics! Theyve been story boarded, but had to take the backburner to my day job for most of this year. I've got alot planned, and a lot to aim for, so well see how it goes! I appreciate any of yall who've read all of this, and id love to hear about your life if you want to share! whats going on for you all?

Life's Crazy; how are you all?
Posted 4 years agoGod, its been like over a year since my last journal, but so, so much has happened over the last few years it was honestly all i could do to just keep posting art and trucking forward. The last 8 months alone have had the passing of two people I cared about, one of them being my grandmother, and me moving cross country a few months after that.
Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, i just want to thank those of you who have stuck with me as long as you did, and thankfully, things seem to finally be turning up for me? Every fav and comment from you all has been one of the things keeping me going, and I look forward to continue sharing my work with all of you guys here. <3
Tally Draws TOS (2020)
Posted 5 years agoPaying for a commission acknowledges that you have read and agreed to the following Terms of Service. These are subject to change without notice, but I will do my best to announce any large changes. If you have any questions about the terms, email me before payment.
1. I reserve the right to terminate a commission at any time I see fit, or refuse work from any person at any time.
I reserve the right to cancel and/or refund a commission at any time due to poor communication, rude or inappropriate behavior or the inability to communicate in a way we can both understand. I have only had to refund a few in my history of working online, out of hundreds of transactions.
If a refund needs to happen, I will refund the remaining balance of the commission less work and materials, depending on the situation. Depending on the circumstances, the commissioner may or may not receive the completed work and may or may not retain any usage rights whatsoever.
There are NO refunds on completed work.
2. I must receive payment and all reference images and/or text descriptions before I begin any work.
I will assume that when payment is sent that I have all reference images required. Character sheets for references are preferred, of course, but I understand not everyone has them. Images done by other artists, text descriptions and animal/object/clothing references from Google are fine with me. If these are not given, I will have to guess. If something is necessary, tell me. I am not responsible for changing things on a commission later due to the client's oversight on a detail.
PLEASE USE CORRECT REFERENCE - If your refs have a discrepancy, please let me know which is the MOST correct! Please do not send me a 12 paragraph RP description: simplify it down to the bare bones. Please attach rather than link references if possible, as websites are not always reliable! If you link a reference and I cannot access it, I will put off working on your art until I can access it.
3. If no payment is sent, I will not consider the commission as accepted until paid.
4. I appreciate details, but i also need wiggle room to create.
I prefer to have artistic liberty with my commissions. When I get a reference image and a sentence like "Do something sexy involving lingerie!" or "This is a picture for my best friend and our hobbies are watching movies, knitting and eating candy!", I do my best work. If you like my style and my ideas, please let me use them! I don't mind a general description either, but please do not nitpick poses or centimeters of the width of a fur marking. If you are particularly attentive to detail, let me know in advance and I will adjust the price accordingly to make sure we’re both happy with the final product.
5. I send progress images for digital work in the following steps: thumbnail, refined sketch, preliminary ink, flat colors, final. I allow 3 fixes per commission.
My thumbnails are pretty loose, mainly to show the gesture of the piece.
After an approval on the inks, I will no longer adjust the base drawing.
The flats show the colors I've picked (I do not use an eyedropper).
The last stage is after all the shading and jots and tiddles and whatever else I put on have been added.
If all of this is to the clients satisfaction, I send off a full rez copy, and a resized copy suitable for online use.
Any fixes beyond the base 3 are subject to a 10$+ charge depending on complexity. I am more lenient on this when dealing with character sheets as I understand how important they are to the future of the character, but I still reserve the right to charge.
I reserve the right to stream a commission when I choose. We can discuss scheduling a stream specifically when you are available to watch, but this isn’t always a possibility.
6. I reserve the right to use any image I create as I see fit. I retain all rights to the image.
This includes, but is not limited to, producing and selling prints or portfolios (print, digital or CD) and/or posting to my online galleries. I retain full commercial and distribution rights on any image I produce.
If the client does not wish to pay shipping for traditional art (including sketches), I reserve the right to sell originals at conventions or online auction.
The client may use the commission image at any size as they please FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. Personal use excludes any and all commercial purposes (logos, SecondLife mag use, selling their own prints). No profit is to be made off the image. If posted online, I require being listed as the creator and I would prefer a link back to this gallery. Alterations to the image are NOT ALLOWED without my written consent.
I will never dishonor a client's personal character in my redistribution, and my usage rights are not up for discussion.
ADOPTABLES NOTE: Adoptables are not to be sold for above the price you purchased it for UNLESS extra art has been purchased for it.
7. I use U.S. Dollars as my currency. I only accept payments through paypal.
8. Commissions 30$ and above will be processed through invoices ONLY.
NOTE: I know that marking a payment as a "gift" makes it fee-free, but please don't ever use this in your dealings with artists. If you don't know why, just check Artists_Beware on Livejournal some time for some horror stories. PayPal is known for freezing and banning accounts that misuse their service!
10. I require written permission from all participants before I begin work.
If the client and the other person are in a relationship (friends or romantic) this is usually not a problem, especially in the case of a gift for a birthday or anniversary.
If the client does not provide the other person(s) permission, I will postpone work on the commission until I receive written proof of permission.
11. It is the responsibility of the purchaser, or person who contacted me, to distribute the works in progress to other participants in group commissions.
I recommend that the client does this BEFORE responding that everything is approved in the current step. If my Point of Contact fails to do so, I am not responsible for any miscommunication between the other parties.
12. If I do not receive communication back from a client for over a year, their commission and funds are forfeited and no commission will be delivered.
I make 3 attempts at communication over this time. If I receive nothing back, I am absolved from the work and the client may not request a refund.
13. I do not draw the following subjects in adult scenarios: minors or feral, non-sentient creatures.
Yes, that means no cub, no beast. Sentient quadrupeds are up to my discretion, and must be obviously sentient.
14. I work in my own style and my style alone.
I expect that my clients have chosen my art because they enjoy it for what it is. I do not adjust my style for commissions.
