Well, I'm still alive, apparently!

Apologies for the 2-year absence--I needed to stay away for personal reasons (I'm fine, no worries). I'm back, now, and hopefully I'll be posting more regularly.

To everyone who watched/commented while I was gone: thank you! I'm always so happy to see my work well-received.

I have some older art to post, and then hopefully I'll create some new content here. Hope you're all doing well!

I have never been great at drawing holiday pictures--or any type of seasonal picture, for that matter. My art is usually completely oblivious to any sort of time frame, so matching seasonal themes with drawing has always been like pulling teeth.

But this year, I am making a promise that I will not miss the best holidays for weight gain-themed art. I will draw a fat turkey in time for Thanksgiving. I might even try to make a candy-stuffing piece before Halloween. I want to do an overindulgent Christmas feast piece. At least one holiday picture--that's my goal. Seriously, I feel like I miss these golden opportunities every year because fall/winter is usually such a hectic time with school and work for me. Well, I won't let that stop me--not this year. I must draw holiday feasting.

Also, hi! I'm trying to pop back to FA every now and then! I'm working on some paid art but it's meant to be private until it's complete--or until certain other things are released with it, ahem--so unfortunately, I have nothing to post until those pieces are all finished. But hopefully I'll have something else to share soon!

I know I've been gone forever, but, thank you so much for the favs/watches! I am always completely astounded at the traffic my work gets during my absences. Truly humbling. <3

All right, so! I'm almost finished with all commissions. Unfortunately I've run into an emergency right now, so I'm pushing my self-imposed deadline back to February 6th, this coming Monday. Should have all files sent out by then, and I'll be working on the two projects in-queue exclusively.

After that, a huge 8-month-or-so weight will be lifted from my shoulders, and I expect drawing to come much easier and with less guilt. XD I have a lot of interesting ideas bottled up in here that I'd love to try out.

Also I know I haven't replied to comments in a long time but ;o; I read them! And I appreciate them, because nothing makes me want to draw more than hearing how much people like my stuff and are interested in more. Thanks!

Giving myself plenty of leeway so that I don't end up fibbing about this~

Current paid commissions will be finished before or by the end of January!
After that time I will move on to the unpaid waiting list and/or parts of already paid projects. New commissions will be closed until all open projects are complete.

I ended up reworking my school semester this Spring so that I have designated art days every week, so I can continue to work after school starts.

I seriously have the most patient commissioners in the world, thank you guys! I hope everyone's been having a great new year so far. Year of the dragonnnn~

Hope everyone's having a fun holiday season! I always regret missing out on the best parts of it (*cough*turkey day) due to school. Seriously, what kind of weight gain artist am I if I don't do a holiday feast picture :|

So I'm on my fall break, which is two days long (today and tomorrow), and I am trying to draw as much commission stuff as I caaaan :o I'm sorry I've been almost completely out of touch with everyone here! I promise I'm alive. Again, the best way to get in contact with me is at my personal email, tigglespits at gmail dot com. I only check websites like furaffinity and deviantart every couple of days at best, unless something awesome happens and I have nothing to do (read: that has not been happening at all lately).

Aside from being super busy with things that are not quite as fun as drawing fat furs, I am coming upon a time in the cycle of my material possessions where everything is deciding to break in succession. Here is my list thus far of broken things:
(Prologue: The AC in the house I rent broke this summer, and we were without temp regulation on one of the hottest days of the summer. My poor dog was panting constantly. Thankfully, the unit was under warranty and our suffering was brief.)
- Recently my laptop battery completely gave out (it had been on its last leg for a while), so I had to replace it or my laptop wouldn't turn on at all.
- Then, the ignition in my car started to fry (uh... my keychain was too heavy -- beware of heavy keychains, no matter how much you love collecting baubles XC) so I had to replace that too.
- Then, while using my fresh laptop battery, my charger suddenly went off like a firecracker and started to smoke/melt on the inside -- so it looks like I'll be needing a new one of those, too. (My charger is less than a year old, although I now suspect it was made of inferior material because it never did work quite the way it was meant to. Be careful when you think you've found a good deal on Amazon.)
- To top it all off, the blender broke Sunday morning. Sob. All I wanted was a banana smoothie.
I'm left wondering what will go next, and hoping it's not something terribly important like... the roof, or my engine, or... I don't know. I don't believe in jinxes, but I'm almost afraid to joke about it. >>;

Anyway, I hope that was amusing. Hope you've all been well!

My new school semester starts in two days! I'm excited :3 This year I'm going to try my hand at being a student leader. Going to be putting together lots of wonderful community events and all that. It'll be a busy time, but well worth it for the experience and positivity on my campus.

I'm not sure if I'll be keeping commissions open during the school year yet -- I certainly don't think I'll be taking any more until I've finished the pieces at hand. I may open up again later for smaller commissions such as sketches or doodle pages only, if there's an interest in that.

Posting here to let folks know that I have a double ear infection that manifested itself during my 20 hour drive back home, and only got worse upon my actual arrival back to my own abode. Sob. This is what I get for enjoying 2 weeks of watersports (no, not those kinds of watersports, ha) and not taking the time to dry out my ears afterward. Fweeeeeeeeeee

So, I just got a prescription yesterday so I expect to be on the mend and actually reply to everything really, really soon! In the meantime I will be quietly finishing the commissions I've already started. Your patience is appreciated <3

I just wanted to update and let everyone know that I'll be gone from ***June 30th until July 17th*** for a long-awaited vacation with my family.
I'll have my laptop and tablet with me, so I still may be doodling and working on commissions/corresponding, etc., but I can't give it top priority because I'll be seeing some friends and relatives that I haven't been around in quite a while. There will be much merriment and I will probably be trying to keep it a secret that I draw creepy fatfur art for money. XD

Also, unrelated -- I know a lot of artists stream when they draw, especially commission work. If I tried to set something like that up, how much interest would there be in watching? (I am a silly doodler, I go through several phases of general retardation before producing real artwork, so I assume I will be entertaining!)
I honestly have no idea how Livestream works at all, so it would take some effort on my part before I ever got properly set up. That, and instant messaging tends to generally stress me out, especially when it's with more than one person -- so I'm not sure if I would necessarily be good at streaming and talking to everyone. But it would be kind of fun, I think. Yeah?

Also also, to everyone who's been paying me a visit lately, or favoriting/watching, thank youuuuu! I am always kind of shocked at how positive the reactions to my work are, and I really really really appreciate everything. <3

I want to know about the appeals of other fetishes that are similar to weight gain. I know a lot of wg enthusiasts overlap in their affinities for fatfurs -- a lot of artists I've come across also draw inflation, pregnancy, vore, micro/macro, etc.

I've always been curious about the origins of such fetishes, especially with inflation. What aspects of inflation are the most appealing to you? I have speculated that perhaps the threat of popping could be a really interesting point of inflation, but then again I am only guessing from my own perspective of... erm, more sadistic interests. I may be completely off-base there!

I think I've talked a bit about my curiosity about vore before as well -- I always sort of wonder whether I should consider myself a vore fetishist or not, because I really do not ever imagine my characters eating or getting eaten by predators to the extent that most art goes. The idea of vore is incredibly appealing to me, and that threat is very much a turn-on, but I have found that looking at/drawing vore art simply does not have the same effect on me as weight gain art. XD It's very strange to me, and I almost feel left out, like I'm missing something here! (Of course everyone is going to find different appeals to art though.)

Pregnancy is another one that I have a vague interest in -- I think the idea of pregnant prey would be lovely, a sort of "two for the price of one" deal. But again I think I'm approaching it based on my own interests of sadism, implied vore and weight gain (pregnant bellies can be quite lovely).
Is the idea of carrying a child also appealing to the fetish? I'm sorry if that seems like a strange or obvious question, as I really have no idea! I'm interested in learning more about that.

And micro/macro -- what are the most appealing features of that? I'm talking about both the normal Godzilla-esque/Honey I Shrunk The Kids-type characters, AND the ones who gain weight to the point of being supersized and able to knock around buildings. I am assuming there is a similar appeal to both of them.

Also: if you're going to leave me an answer that's based on any potent opinions/affinities you might have, please be nice. I see a lot of inappropriate commentary between sects of fetishism, "such-and-such makes me want to gauge my eyes out ugh" and so forth -- that kind of nonsense won't be entertained here.

I'm out of school for the summer and I'll have more time to draw inbetween some random family events (a wedding, a 2-week vacation, etc.) -- hopefully I won't disappear again until August when my semester starts again XD

I'm on a short break from my busy semester, so I'll try to draw as much as I can during this week and upload it all. I'm usually too hesitant to speak to anyone when I have no new art to show - I'll try to break that habit.

After this week, I will be finishing up my courses for the year and then moving house. Busy busy! But I'll try to find time to draw and post here. :)

It's been quite a while, but I've finally uploaded a few things. They're mostly boring and insubstantial, my apologies - but I'm trying to practice.

I have a new story in the works that I hope to have at least drafted by tonight or tomorrow, so keep an eye out for it!

I wish I could thank everyone individually but I wouldn't feel right doing it, since some of the activity was done months ago. Hello all,

I just wanted to give a collective thank you to the 32 watches, 8 comments and 49 favorites that I've received since my unannounced hiatus... Who knew I would be so well received! When I started this account I honestly did not expect that kind of traffic at all, but your support is really encouraging.

That being said, I'm still taking a bit of a hiatus from the art world. During the past few months I've been moving and adjusting to my new real-life circumstances. I'm not sure when I'll have time to play on here again, but apparently some of you will be watching when I do return ;) Thank you so much!

I've officially been here for over a week, and I just reached 57 watchers. Thank you all! I hope that my future submissions do not disappoint.

I have tried to make a point of thanking every watcher and replying to every comment. I see no reason why I should not continue to do this in the future, though I worry that it may become too time-consuming if things continue so exponentially. However, I just want to say that I really do appreciate any interest in my art and writing, even if I mistakenly fail to thank you after!

This week I am busy with school assignments, so I am not sure of when I will be uploading next. But stay tuned! The weekend always brings me more free time. :)

I think I have enough ideas to keep me trying new things for a while. Hopefully you'll see some of your thoughts drawn by me sometime soon!

I should mention that, while I'm all for friendly banter and general discussion about wg/vore/fattening through notes or comments, I am not much of a roleplayer with strangers in this regard, and it makes me somewhat uncomfortable to be approached with unannounced roleplaying. Please do not comment to me or note me expecting any kind of erotic/fetishized interaction.
I might become more accustomed to it once I get to know you, but I've only been on FA for... what, three or four days? So it's a little shocking to be approached with roleplaying so soon. I am actually a very shy person about roleplaying my fetishes, I've only just come out as a fatfur/vore artist on FA, so please try to understand where I'm coming from.

Some other notes, I am sorry but I do not use ANY instant messengers! They are just not my thing. But please feel free to note me if you want to talk, I try to pay close attention to anyone who takes an interest in my art! <3

Also, I guess I am what you would consider a feeder, not a feedee, in that I prefer to be the dominant force who does NOT experience gratuitous weight gain, but instead the one who entices a victim to gain weight. Obviously this is not very relevant because I have stated that I am not ready for roleplay, but I figured it would be a good tidbit for anyone interested. Also, I may be trying to design a fursona soon. Olivander [the fox in my icon/a few of my pieces] seems to be a character that resonates well with me, but I think I might also attempt to make a creature that can be more identified as "Del." We'll see how that goes! I have no idea what animal to make him yet.

I'm probably not going to have a chance to draw or write anything tonight, but for the future:

What would you like to see me write or draw, within the themes of weight gain/fat furs/vore?

I'm just looking for new ideas to practice drawing and writing. Suggestions can be anything from a general theme or a certain animal, to your own character in a drawing (in which case, I would need some reference from you). Keep in mind that there is a certain element of sadism that I intend to keep in all of my pieces, I am not inclined to draw or write a piece completely without menace!

I cannot guarantee I will be able to meet your request, and who knows, I may not even really like your idea. But don't take those things personally, please! It just means that there is probably another artist that could grant your wish better than I could.

If I don't get any suggestions, I'm sure I'll think of something to amuse myself anyway. But I do want to know what you think!
