Posted a year agoSomething about checking this site when I came back to my dorm from my first year college classes felt like home. I'd get so excited to check my new FA page that I finally felt confident enough to set up after being a quiet bystander to the art for so long. Posting my new artwork here, getting excited for my first notes, comments, which lovely people would watch me. Something about opening my laptop and seeing these colors and this site felt like I didn't have to hide anymore, and I met so many friends and people who'd change my life through here. I moved away from home finally, I could be gay in college, I HAD to draw, and I just gravitated towards here like all furs did. I wouldn't be here without this site, and I have extreme respect for Neer for helping make this site a reality for all of us, and for buying it back from IMVU when he did. Passion and care for our community has kept us afloat through crazy times, where states to try restrict even e621 usage, I hope we all can keep our passion alive and spread it like he did. He deserved better than our shitty healthcare system. I hope his friends and family are able to find peace/navigate this awful situation okay. RIP

YCHS, Progress, How Ive Been
Posted a year agoHeya folks, sorry for the dry April and most of May, I got caught up in travel back and forth to New York a bunch and hosting company and tablet issues. Ive mostly been shooting updates to people, and always a casual reminder that theres a link to my trello on my profile, if you wanna keep up with coms im working on or bigger animations in the works.
I did ANE this year, dont think i have any solid plans for other cons this year. It was so nice meeting everyone at cons last year though, so id like to do it again. Gotta get work done and get things settled first.
My foots recovered, marking a year since last years pain & scare and ive been prioritizing better health, mostly. (Except for sleep schedule, thats my greatest enemy)
Im gonna toss up two quick animated loop YCHs to help with cash the end of this month, as i wrap up the end of the larger Flare Frat one. Just loops because they go by so much faster than other work. So if youre interested in something like that, keep your eyes peeled and spread the word, anything helps.
On a realer note, i appreciate all the support and patience. Idk. I havent felt really at peace with my place here in a while. Feels like a lot of eyes on me. Ill make it up to you guys though, make it worth it. I love you guys though and hope you guys like what i put out for you.

Back at my desk (TMI/CW gross health stuff)
Posted 2 years agoHello folks, since about April I've been dealing with a nasty infection that I let get far too out of hand before biting the medical bullet. It stemmed from an untreated work injury from months ago (Don't trust your coworker to move treadmills with you) that ended up fucking my toes. Nail bed damage, cracked nail under the skin, which led to a bad infection. My toes were always pretty swollen from 10 hour standing shifts, and the various injuries I got from moving gym equipment at that job, so swollen big toes went kind of unnoticed for me. But I dont think I'll be as oblivious in the future.
It flared up in April after a while of being at my desk, to where sitting at my desk for longer than 45 minutes would cause insane swelling in my toes and feet, and chronic pain below the shins. I figured because legs have bad bloodflow when you're sitting that it wasnt anything big, and I have a high pain tolerance and figured I would treat it casually while I worked. OTC meds, footbaths, gauze, etc.. and eventually switching to ice and elevation while I worked because the pain from sitting at my desk wasnt worth it. I moved my drawing station to the recliner in the living room and was able to slow the pain, but slow was all it did. Weeks went on and healing would just not show the results, and things got harder and harder to tolerate. Going outside the house and wearing shoes became things i'd dread just from the pain and knowing that i'd be spending the next days after in pain/trying to do damage control.
It became intolerable one day where I woke up and felt like every nerve in my feet was stepping on pins and needles. Leaning down and resting any of my weight near my toes caused me to recoil and hurt. Blood coming from the sides of my nails was a daily thing. Standing in the shower was painful when the water would fall down onto the sensitive areas. Waking up and the sheets being covered in blood around my feet was depressing, and one day after seeing the red swelling start to turn a little purple, I bit the bullet and called a doctor in the family, who recommended some meds, but they stung just as bad as the casual pain of my toes touching things. More time went by and they'd just get worse, to where the nightly swelling was so bad, i could squeeze my toe regularly and blood would spill out. Went to an urgent care and the nurse gasped when she saw how bad they'd gotten... and I have never felt more embarrassed to let things get this bad.
I spent the last two weeks on some heavy antibiotics, had my toes numbed, stabbed, scraped inside to make sure the infection didnt get to the bone, or else partial removal or amputation would have been the likely next option depending on how far the infection spread.
as I'm writing this, my toes are smaller than I previously thought they could be, aka, normal size. It took weeks for the swelling to disappear, and I'm still so scared that the infection could reappear, so I'm slowly re-integrating back to my desk, sometimes still at the recliner til I'm in the clear, as my feet slowly go back to feeling like the normal dumb things they are.
But happy (hopefully) ending, is that they look so much better now, and the pain has been mostly nonexistent this week. Things seem to be clearing up so I'll be uploading some backlogged stuff and getting to the work that I couldn't detail/polish up from a recliner.
TLDR: Take good care of your feet and body in general, don't sit at desks too long and go to the doctors if you can after work injuries, even if things feel alright. Make them pay for your shit. I didnt and this injury destroyed my mental and physical health for like 2 months, i think the worst is over, and I hope you enjoy some gay porn. Sorry for the delays, but this has just been going on for those who've been wondering. If you saw me in person with socks and sandals on during these two months, thats why. Those puppies were gauzed up like crazy.

Posted 3 years agoTested positive and its been hitting me like a truck, just been trying to sleep and bring my ipad with me to the more comfortable areas of the house, should be able to fit in some drawing while i can, but just wanted to give a heads up that the dumb virus got me and slowed my progress for a bit. Sorry, folks. I'll try and uplaod some backlogged stuff to make up for it.

September Update
Posted 5 years agoHeya folks! Things have been up and down, and I've been scarce here and there, just keeping my head down and working, finishing my last pieces. Expect some mini comics and animations uploaded here this month. Ive got time and room to do art, god bless, so expect a full commission opening soon. Its been a while since I did that and its gonna be a bit different so i can manage a bit better.
JOB LIFE: Still no computer here, I'm on 15+ applications and 5+ interviews at different places, but being hired during COVID has proven to be a process. Last interview I felt I nailed turned out needed a second interview and they went with another candidate, and that was the case at 2 other places, coming in second as a fall back if the new hires dont work out. Sucks but what can I do. I can manage food and repairs and typical life stuff, but I'm looking to move soon and get a comp, so the extra consistent money's needed.
ART LIFE: Ipad's giving me some trouble lately but she's a beast and I'm able to chug and do art. Patreons back in full swing and Im doing more content for it, so if yer interested, theres a buncha stuff there and it helps out. And I'll reopen coms soon formally. And I have Onnnnneee other YCH planned while i finish the previous comic. Still have a bunch to upload here and on twitter.
DOG LIFE: Its been wild. Housing situation was fine til landlord had a change of heart. Its like living on thin ice cuz this house is 100+ years old and squeaks incessantly above his apartment. He's 80 and its apparent he's not a big fan of us being here, so I'm hoping to move again to alleviate any stress. Family's been a thorn in the side as well with.. bad decision-makers affecting the rest of our family. But thats more subsided now. World's weird and wacky right now. I'm just a dog and I'm typin this up just cuz I felt I've been scarce and theres way too much on my mind to dump on one person like.. 20 times lol.
Any comments or advice is appreciated, hope y'all are doin good!

Mini Art Dump/Computer
Posted 5 years agoHeya! been hard/unable to upload much here because I'm still without computer after my move, but I was able to hop onto one briefly today, so i figured I'd mini dump some backlogged art.
My laptop (Dell Inspiron XPS 13) is known to get swollen batteries after years of use and mine looks like its about to burst lmao, so that thing is stored in a non flammable area while I continue work from my iPad! (God Bless its soul)
I'll probably do another mini dump this weekend or next week with more commissions, and I figured I'd just update y'all! I just nailed an interview at a nicer job, so Im gonna be able to have a functioning PC soon hopefully! Art progress is still there, just uploads are slow lol. Love y'all and hope yer all holding up okay <3

July Update
Posted 5 years agoBeen having a bit of a mental health break as of recent, including an environment change last week. Just tossing this out as a signal that like, I’m still here and still very much working, the last few months it’s been hard to keep my head on my shoulders and I needed a scenery change/refresher. This dogs all good <3 and sorry for any wait or concern or silence through this all. I’ll be updating my Trello with more progress soon, my Patreon was paused for the month of July while I took this small break. I still have a back load of art to upload, but I hope you’re all doing well, and I’m working and feeling good finishing the last coms. Terms of Service
Contacting me:
-Most commissions will happen through openings on my Google Forms
-Slots that get accepted, I will contact further and confirm details with
-Questions about commissioning me can be asked through FA notes or telegram if you already have it, though preferably through notes.
About topics:
My "nope" list tends to be towards scat, farts, extreme hyper, extreme muscles, gore, hate art, diapers, babyfurs, and a few others. If you have questions about a fetish not listed here, ask!
My fursona is 90% off-limits to most commissioners for NSFW pics, unless I know you and am willing to get a picture with you, the idea is most likely going to be turned down. My other characters I am more lenient with but will also have some vetting as to who/what they're doing. If you are unsure whether or not my character is off-limits to you, ask me in my notes!
Upon agreeing to the commission:
-I use paypal invoices and will usually send out an invoice to the email address you've provided
-When your slot is confirmed I will add you to my Trello page so you can see my queue and where you place on the list, (https://trello.com/b/AOlOKS86/commissions)
-Once I accept your slot, I will usually give a brief time estimate as to when I will have a sketch started/ready for you
Payment:
-Most commissions will be the entire amount up front, larger commissions can be negotiated, but I will not complete your piece without full payment.
-Payment is in USD
While I'm working:
-I always show one rough sketch of the pose and characters, usually just to confirm if deisgns and idea are alright, more updates can be requested, but please give some time between updates.
-I'll do fixes of the piece at this stage as many times as needed (but within reason), with no extra cost, just dont hesitate to tell me if something isnt looking correct. I rather you be happy with your final piece after some revisions, than silent with a piece with errors.
After the work is done:
-You can post the piece to your gallery etc if you like, as long as the credits to me are shown there somewhere
-I always provide 1 small .png file, and 1 large/high resolution png. I'll give the psd. file by request
Refunds/cancelling the order:
-if you feel like you want to cancel the commission for whatever reason at ANY point, don't be afraid to contact me. I completely understand that stuff happens!
-note that if I have managed to do some work I will only give partial refund (depending how much work has been already done). If I haven't started the piece, I will give a full refund
UPDATES:
Asking for updates-
GOOD: I will always provide a rough sketch and adjust it to your liking for approval before going ahead. However, once i have your approval, I will be working on that picture. Odds are, it wont take much longer to complete. Asking for updates after periods of silence is perfectly fine and I will do my best to reassure you that work is being done!
BAD: Asking for daily updates, asking for updates without having fully paid for the picture yet, and asking for updates within a few days of receiving an update will only stress me out and make things worse for everyone. If I warn you that I am busy with outside events, and show you work on your piece often, and you still ask for daily updates, I have the right to refund your picture. For my sanity: If you ask for an update/frequently poke within the first two weeks of ordering the piece, I will take it you haven't read this and you will only get updates at my discretion.

-When your slot is confirmed I will add you to my Trello page so you can see my queue and where you place on the list, (https://trello.com/b/AOlOKS86/commissions)
-Once I accept your slot, I will usually give a brief time estimate as to when I will have a sketch started/ready for you
Payment:
-Most commissions will be the entire amount up front, larger commissions can be negotiated, but I will not complete your piece without full payment.
-Payment is in USD
While I'm working:
-I always show one rough sketch of the pose and characters, usually just to confirm if deisgns and idea are alright, more updates can be requested, but please give some time between updates.
-I'll do fixes of the piece at this stage as many times as needed (but within reason), with no extra cost, just dont hesitate to tell me if something isnt looking correct. I rather you be happy with your final piece after some revisions, than silent with a piece with errors.
After the work is done:
-You can post the piece to your gallery etc if you like, as long as the credits to me are shown there somewhere
-I always provide 1 small .png file, and 1 large/high resolution png. I'll give the psd. file by request
Refunds/cancelling the order:
-if you feel like you want to cancel the commission for whatever reason at ANY point, don't be afraid to contact me. I completely understand that stuff happens!
-note that if I have managed to do some work I will only give partial refund (depending how much work has been already done). If I haven't started the piece, I will give a full refund
UPDATES:
Asking for updates-
GOOD: I will always provide a rough sketch and adjust it to your liking for approval before going ahead. However, once i have your approval, I will be working on that picture. Odds are, it wont take much longer to complete. Asking for updates after periods of silence is perfectly fine and I will do my best to reassure you that work is being done!
BAD: Asking for daily updates, asking for updates without having fully paid for the picture yet, and asking for updates within a few days of receiving an update will only stress me out and make things worse for everyone. If I warn you that I am busy with outside events, and show you work on your piece often, and you still ask for daily updates, I have the right to refund your picture. For my sanity: If you ask for an update/frequently poke within the first two weeks of ordering the piece, I will take it you haven't read this and you will only get updates at my discretion.

Life Update/My commissions/TOS coming/ART
Posted 8 years agoGonna be a busy week for this dog and also not!
Currently I'm in the middle of finals hell, I have 3 animations that need lining, coloring, backgrounds, and editing all done in two weeks, all about a minute and a half each. And thats not all of my finals so... Art/commissions have been getting minimal attention.. which sucks because I'm super eager to work on them. If there's been a lack of art, its because of this. Im stressed but eager to get back to work.
On that note, I wont be busy with THIS stuff, just.. more finals. But i'll try and spice things up here in the meantime.
Gonna be posting more commissions IVE received/paid for, gonna put those in scraps.. cuz there's a lot of them. Expect art of Deli and Graham and some other furs :P
Also going to post an Official Terms of Service to this account regarding commissioning me, because a little bit has become.. stressful and it needs some guidelines in regards to the process. Nothing huge, and nothing bad, just gonna try and streamline this process more.
I will be opening for commissions after this bit of a bump in the road with finals, and I cant wait to get back in this swing <3
All my current commissioners, Im super sorry this is on hold for the week, but I have all of your sketches started and more, and if you want updates, gladly ask me for them. Y'all are saints and I cant thank ya enough <3
Also, be on the lookout for a super cheap art pack coming from me at the end of the year, in case ya wanna see some unfinished/unposted work <3
