My 3 year old Brony
Posted 13 years agoMy son is a ruff and tumble kid. He loves all things sports as long as he can kick, throw, hit, punch or beat a ball around he loves it. He giggles when he burps and laughs when he farts. He knew a dinosaur said "RAAWWWW" before I ever told him, he knew the sound your suppose to make with your fingers when your shooting and hunting tyrannosaurus rex's. He flirts with every girl he can and even attempted once to chat up a girl at a restaurant who was on a date, she had no clue what he was saying but she was a sport about it and laughed along. He has no fear and lost his front 3 teeth after an unfortunate encounter jumping around on the couch and then thinking he can fly. I'm convinced he will be That teenager, the one who does back flips off his friends roof into a pool or onto a trampoline films it and puts it on Youtube.
He idolizes super heroes, thinks robots are awesome and his rather large collection of Hot Wheels are his most prized possessions. The point is my son is 90% mischief 10% dirt and 100% boy.
He Also know more about My Little Pony's then any 3 year old in Idaho. I started watching it with my daughter cause she was interested in it and he decided he liked it too. It was not until he came to me one day and asked where his sisters Rainbow Dash pony was that I realized he likes it a lot more then I thought, he knows most of the Pony's names. That brings me to today when I came to another realization, after picking him up from school and on the way home he got into the back pack his sister keeps her pony's in that I had left in the car. He sat in the back looking at each one and saying "Ahh you have a cutie mark! Cool!" or to the dollar store ponies "You don't have a cutie mark, sorry that's ok". So I realized that he pays WAY more attention to even the little details in the show then I had thought LOL.
This has led me to a conclusion about my son that I had suspected all along...My little 3 year old ruff and tumbler sports fanatic dare devil who watches My Little Pony knows their names and has declared Rainbow Dash as his favorite...is in fact made of Awesome of the most Epic proportions!

Books....Books...everywhere
Posted 13 years agoI really need a new series to read. I seem to be into the Fairy Tale genre as of late but cant seem to find one that screams "READ THIS OR DIE KNOWING YOUR LIFE WAS UNFULFILLED WITHOUT ITS KNOWLEDGE!"
