because with every new release i should warn everyone, but i'll be taking a week off commission work once monster hunter wilds drops this february 28th. the few that know me know how addicted i can get with this series (3,000-4,000+ hours on iceborne and sunbreak each for example), and i don't expect that to change with wilds. this is just a simple heads up. unless you are asking to play with me that week, expect communications to be next to non-existent. hehe.

now with that out the way, i had a question for anyone/everyone that actually both reads these journals, as well as knows my artwork. that question being; what is it that you all like to see from me? sure most of my work is commission based (my fulltime time), so my sway on what i draw is pretty limited. what i'm getting at is are people wanting me to draw more of my characters, fan art of famous characters, etc? lately my streams have been more dead than usual. very little interaction with what i draw during streams, if any at all. i'm not saying i want to be the center of attention (far from it), but it CAN feel like a buzzkill when i stream for 3+ hours and not 1 word is mentioned about what i'm drawing. i'm wanting to entertain everyone that actually show up to my streams, but it's hard to gauge that with next to no feedback. is there anything i can do to change that? speaking of which, please critique me! i'm self taught when it comes to drawing, and there are TONS of things i can still learn, so feedback is always appreciated if there are any (i'd much prefer it WHILE drawing rather than AFTER the pic is done). again, i'd just like to be more entertaining for my audience, and though i can't promise anything will change, maybe there are somethings i can. this was just something i've been hesitant to get off my chest. i thank you for your time.

that's right my fellow goobers, i'm back, and boy did i have a blast! got to meet so many friends, commissioners, and the like that i lost count, art jam, group watch "the wild robot" for the first time (highly recommend), and more. to all those that noticed me, thank you all so very much! i've never really felt like i stood out, or was very social, so thank you for giving this nobody some love! means a lot to me. also, my conquest quota was easily met (and then some) with getting photos of such lovely CURVY fursuiters, so expect a "small" spam flood of uploads to my scraps of my ugly mug with them soon. and though it will be a slow process, i will "try" to repay those very fursuiters with free giftart as thanks, so look forward to that in the future. being back home again i'm already missing everyone, and can't wait till my next furcon, which will most likely be TFF 2025 as it's my local con. hope to see you all again!

but in all seriousness, i have returned. first off, i wish to thank all of you who wished me a happy birthday early this month. it really meant a lot to me. crazy to think that the years are just flying by as i get older.

next on the list, sadly all great things must come to an end. that end being TFF'24. cons just never feel long enough. still, it was great seeing/hanging out with my friends within the small time frame we had. and a special thanks to those curvy fursuiters who i was able to get photos with. to them, a special treat is in the works. i hope that everyone returning from TFF got home safely.

lastly, i have FINALLY decided to make a twix (twitter/x) account. figured it would make for a nice backup site JUST IN CASE something should ever happen with FA (hopefully that never happens). don't get the wrong idea, to me FA is still my home, and will always get first dibs when i post anything. just now i have a secondary on the side, for those that rarely use FA. it'll be used as a site to upload my works, nothing more. i'm terrible at managing multiple sites, so hopefully this doesn't become overwhelming.

first off, i would like to thank each and every one of you for wishing me a happy birthday towards the beginning of the month. it really meant a lot to me.

so... TFF... that was a blast! it was my first time going to it, and i had so much fun. for starters, the con is only 30'ish minutes from where i live, so that's a major plus! so many people showed up that i knew that i had trouble trying to hang out with them all. keep in mind i haven't been able to go to a con since MFF back in 2019. so yeah, this will definitely be my main con each year from now on, and now that i know what to expect, i can plan things a bit better next time. it was great seeing just about everyone i know again, and even some new faces. sadly though, my plan for finding all the busty fursuiters didn't work out. i know of 2 who eluded my gaze during the entire time at the con, but hopefully next year i'll find them, if not more. already i can't wait till TFF 2024. so excited! also, i hope that everyone made it safely back to there homes. i look forward to seeing you guys again. take care!

so here we are on the last journal about this topic. thank you all so very much on the feedback, both on the journal and on discord. i have decided to go with the $75 increase, BUT any additional character will be $50 (max 3 characters total) instead of it being per character. i will also offer a $15-off for any of my characters used in a commission (deonpup though is still free). i know this is gonna be a crazy adjustment for some (hell, it's not gonna take effect till 5-6 months from now), but i hope this is a fair conclusion for everyone (myself included). thank you all again for your kind words, and i look forward to drawing for all of you in the future.

so i gave it some more thought, along with everyone's kind words (i greatly appreciate it), and decided to go with the price change. if you go to my commission list, towards the bottom of the list currently, you will see where i have marked for the price change. again, this means that anyone already on the list before that mark do not have to worry about the change, while anyone after will go with the new price. if anyone currently on the list would rather pay the new price, i'll leave that up to them (as well as be very thankful). i will not force/demand it, nor want to screw anyone over with a shift in price so abruptly.

now with that said, many have told me that even my new asking price is a bit low, so this leads me to my next question for you all (the commissioners); do i go with $60 per character, or $75 (what others are suggesting)? i'm not one to get greedy, and i do know/understand i must make enough for a living, but at the same time i don't want to scare customers away with "being too expensive" (i love drawing for others and that steady flow of commissioners). like the last question i'll give it a full day's time to think about it, as well as read feedback from you all that decide to respond. i promise that this will be the last question i ask. again, i thank you all, and look forward to reading all your comments.

now i know hearing the words "price increase" is a dreadful thing to commissioners. it's something i've been debating (honestly scared) for the longest time. hell, i've had the same prices for over a decade now. so here is my question to you the commissioners, as well as future commissioners; do you think i'm worthy of a price increase? from $50 (old price) to $60 (new price) per character. also note that if you are already on my list, and i do decide to increase my price (depending on feedback), the price would only change after the current "last" commissioner on the list. i would mark it on the list. and if you'd rather pay the new price before the price change, that would be up to you, and would not force it (hell i would be very grateful). i look forward to hearing what you all think.

so for the many that don't know (or if you haven't came to any of my recent streams), i recently moved to texas with my roommates. specifically garland texas, northest of dallas. i'm happy to meet any local furs or fur groups if there are any nearby. this also means that i will sadly no longer go to MFF for future cons, but will instead be attending TFF from now on now that it'll be a local con. i had a short living session in texas MANY years ago (and VERY brief), so i'm crossing my fingers things work out this time. wish me luck!

over the past few months i've done a few "special commissions", and have been asked what are they? well, long story short, they are commissions that bypass my normal "long" commission list. i used to do them several years ago for figures or games, and i've been bringing it back... well sorta. only a few remember me doing them. a person would buy and have item sent to me, and however much the item cost, that's how many characters i would owe them. pretty simple stuff. once the item has been delivered to me, i normally would do their "special commission" the following weekend. this is so that it doesn't interrupt the flow of normal commissions (i do 4-5 normal commissions a week). like i said, it's a way of bypassing the list. it's also a great way of getting multiple pics in quick succession, instead of going to the back of the list. if you get 3 characters, you can have them all in 1 pic, or space it out and get 3 solo pics. it's up to you. i wasn't so sure people would be interested in it after mentioning it a few times in streams, and getting no response or reaction, so i've kept it quiet. but hey, if anyone is interested in a quick commission, bypassing my normal commission list, hit me up on discord.

so a small update to my commission rules. most notably this- "if you change your discord name after i have added you to the list, and you didn't bother to tell me, you will have a high chance of losing your slot"

this is happening more frequently as of late, and noting a person on FA is much slower than on discord. so this is a little heads up. if i add you to my commission list, and you decide you want to change your name, simply tell me. if not, don't be surprised/mad if you lose your slot.

though i've done this a few times, i'm making it public that i charge $40 for any of my characters used in a commission (other characters are $50), and that deonpup is a free character in commissions (only allowed in fully clothed pieces). i use deonpup as an incentive to get more clean to mature light pics.

i also no longer do streams normally, so the commissioner doesn't have to show up if they do not want to. instead, i just send WIPs to them in the form of rough sketch, final sketch, ink, flat color, and complete.

those are the only real changes/updates to my rules, nothing crazy. for commissioners that read this, thank you, and have a great day.

damn! words can't describe how much fun i had this year at mff. i honestly didn't think i could top last year in terms of activities, but surprisingly i did. from hanging out with friends and other artists from around the world, to having a blast at this german restaurant that gave the audience spankings, it was a wild ride this year. i so can't wait for mff 2020! and to all those curvy-as-hell fursuiters (you know who you are), you guys are the best, and thank you for letting me take photos with ya.

so the past month has been pretty rough for me as of late. recently came back from my trip to virginia, which was then followed by my pupper's yearly vet checkup. then a few weeks after that, DP (my real deonpup for those that don't know) ended up with a hotspot on his leg, which he licked so much he started removing fur. so back to the vet he went, only to find out it is infected. so now DP is in the "CONE OF SHAME", and taking medication. THEN, following the last vet checkup, my crappy laptop i got fixed decides to die on my again, just like how it did the beginning of this year. i'm currently on a temporary one till my new laptop comes in, so for now all commissions are on hold till then. i'm hoping this time i can recover my data. so if i'm a bit quiet on discord, it's not intentional. i don't want to read a message from someone asking to be on my commission list, and try to remember to put them on there when i get a new laptop. i'd rather keep the message notice up. that way, i can then read it when everything is back to normal. again, this is just a heads up to everyone if they are on my list waiting for their slot, or for newcomers wanting to be on the list. i ask that everyone please be a bit patient, and as soon as my new laptop comes in and is up and running, i will get right back to work with all of you. till then, i apologize to everyone for the inconvenience.

so just got back today from a hell of a busy week long vacation. if you read my last journal, i went back to virginia. i stayed with both and for whom i was so grateful, i did fun little gift arts for. because they lived in the same area as where i previously lived, i was also able to go visit both my families and old friends after not seeing them for 5 years, if not longer. the nostalgia of being back in town after so long hit me like a truck, but then realized that almost all the stores i loved to go to are now gone... *sadness* still, was great seeing everyone again, and hanging out with them was a blast. can't wait to go back again (preferably during warmer weather). till then, it's back to to work. hope you guys didn't mind the wait.
