First off. I know I made a journal about delaying my submissions to FA. This will no longer be the case.

The reasoning for this is because Furry Network has decided to give into the demands of one Popufur and the massive brigade of upvotes they brought in to their own thread to have cub porn ban. This reddit post mirrors my view of the events that took place.
I personally have no problems with cub porn even though I don't have any intentions of doing any myself. This post by Fek also mirrors my thoughts that art is lines and splotches on a canvas. It doesn't hurt anyone.

As for the YCH. I deleted it due to a bit(lot) of salt to FN yes. However I also realized that the position in general is very commissioner unfriendly since it hides their face and a good portion of the body. There were no bids when I deleted the posts so luckily I don't have to worry about much there. With that said, I still plan to do some manner of face sitting post soon. I'm also open to ideas for YCHs to do in the future. Even if you have no plan to bid on them, you might help decide a particular pose/scene/fetish I do in the future!

Despite this, I will likely still post on FN now and then (likely later then I post on here now.)

I got into the beta for Hi-rez's new game and they gave me a couple of extra codes. Paladins is a first person objective based shooter game. Think like uh... tf2 but with just different characters as opposed to loadouts with a bit of rng mixed in on leveling up (you draw cards to enhance your character and pick one from the draw each time you level.) I guess its more similar to Overwatch. The games are shorter in length, usually about ten to fifteenth minutes. Been playing it for about a week now and I found it quite enjoyable. Hi-Rez did an amazing job with smite so I'm sure this game will be handled nicely.

So you know there's a catch coming. I have one key to give away tonight so gonna make you work for it (this isn't a post first contest.) Basically, write a one-hundred word essay about Deretto (the character.) This could either be an opinion (looking for praise here, don't hurt doges feelings pls,) or maybe something you'd like to do with Deretto if given the chance (again, be nice and keep his personality in mind.)

I'll pick my favorite and send them the key some time tomorrow. Yes, I know this is egotistical as fuck but.... don't care. Doge enjoys reading this kind of stuff.

So I just finished watching The Lion Guard, it's a new Lion King Movie that leads up into a new animated series Disney is going to be airing. So thoughts? tl;dr it was alright. The animation was decent although the art direction had a bit more of a cartoon flair (more solid bright colors.) It was interesting that they decided to place this series before the events of Lion King 2. The main character, Kion is in fact Kiara's younger brother (who is shown as a cub in the movie.)

A great thing this series may try to do is add a bit more to the lore (some for better or worse.) For example, learning more about Scar and having more of an explanation for his frail appearance was nice. Also apparently Timon and Pumba adopted another child which is their honey badger nephew, Bunga (also portrayed as Kions best friend although this would make him his cousin as well.) On the flip side, the whole Lion Guard bit is a bit too... sentai feeling, with each of Kion's friends having clearly defined physical or personality traits with a lion head cutie mark (on the front shoulder) to boot. Speaking of the "titles" they have, "keeness of sight" is way too fucking long in comparison to bravery, strength, speed, and leader. Was perceptive too complicated of a word to use for a kids show? I think it fits the bill perfectly.

The songs were all blegh but not too cringy. Villian song steals the show both in sound and visuals (without trying to hard to be another "Be Prepared" clone.) The ending wasn't anything too climatic and more or less felt like the first episode to lead into the new series. I think I'll check it out more but I'll continue to keep my expectations low. All in all, it was alright.

It's like seeing old friends again. The pacing is rather slow, but I don't mind. If nothing else they managed to make gomamon even cuter, and garurumon has a super doge face. xD
