Second: Defcon Alpha. I have been given official notice that my job where I am working will end as of Sept 15 2010!
I am trying to find another job before this date. I may be able to stay with Johnson Controls, but it will be a new job. The company is huge (world wide), so it may also be necessary for us to move if the only job i can get is out of state.
Yes, I said we. I discussed with Pat and we are lifemates... I do plan to get officially married when we can. So for the future it is us together. As soon as I know something more definite I will let everyone know. If anyone can help in any way note me!!!!!

Posted 16 years agoThis is the time of year to remember what has happened, and to look forward to the future. First, let me thank the local 757furry group for accepting me. I had never said how much love and openness I have been shown. I knew before I joined the group, I would be old enough to be the father to most anyone in the group. Even with this, I was accepted and most quickly figured out I was just like them. Then a wonderful thing happened, we got a new member, and he eventually became my mate. I had not really been looking for a mate, it just happened. Our group encouraged us in this, this has been great.
My mate, where do I begin? I do not say it has been all idealistic or perfect. We work together through all things. This truly has made us a pair. I love him so very much. He has brought me much joy and pleasure.
What about the future? I plan to be with Pat as long as I can. Being furry is a way of life for me. He has this same concept. Life right now seems difficult, so many problems at the same time. Pat manages to always makes me happy, regardless of the circumstances.

Posted 16 years agoIt has been a while since I last wrote. I know I said I would not write much about the day to day stuff, as I wanted to see what would happen. Times have been some good some better days. Even the bad days are much better than when I did not have Pat as my mate. My heart desires him when I go to work, it seems i need him now more than ever. Posted 16 years agoIf i thought I loved pat before, it was mere infatuation compared to what I feel for him today. My heart hurts when we are apart. I think of him when I am at work. I do not care what anyone else calls it, I call it love. I would have what we have together for the rest of my life. We are a bit of an odd couple, but we compliment each other so well. My parrents have fully accepted him, so I have no reason to hide my love for Pat. I will write more if there are major changes, like if/when we decide to be lifemates.... for now I am happy as we are.

A new day +1 week
Posted 16 years agoIt has been a week, since I picked up my love and took him to what is now our home. It is our home as he accepted me as his mate. I did not think I would have a mate this soon, let alone one I was totally in love with. This week has had ups and downs, and the only thing I know for sure is that I love him, and he loves me. My heart is stolen and belongs to a green kitty cat. Last night was one of the best nights I ever had in my life. To most it would have seemed so simple and not exciting. I came home, helped clean. We put a movie in and cuddled and kissed.... we took a walk and just talked. A kiss goodnight as, I get up before the sun does (LOL) to go to work. Later he comes to bed, and well.... satisfies this dragon completely.
If I repeated last night for the rest of my life I would be happy....

Today my lover got put out of his mothers house. He was put out because of :
1. Being furry
This seems to be just a silly reason to me. My lovers mom did not understand furries, she liked that he finally found some others that he could be with. But she did not understand it. She just thought it was a silly thing he would "outgrow"....
2. Being Bisexual
Ummm, there is more to that. She did not understand why he would fall in love with a man (me). She wanted to know why he chose to make love with me, rather than a girl. Parents want their children to have children. it is the way that new ones are formed. Some do not understand he feelings you can have ... for one of your own sex. I am bisexual, I can completely say this without question in my mind. I have had females as my mate, loved them and still am willing to love more. I have had males, but as yet only one that I loved enough to be my mate......
