Posted 7 years agoFirst and foremost, I want to thank everyone for their support throughout the years I've been here. Met many amazing people and had some wonderful times working with all of you.
However, recently, I've had no time or motivation to get anything done. Constant 10 - 14 hour days of grueling labor leave me without any energy and there's no end in sight. It's been keeping up with the bills, thankfully, but I can't afford to job-hop here to make time for things that I want to do.
On top of that, I'm in a super committed relationship now, and, regrettably, she's not into the same things I am and is greatly put off by it. She was tolerant at first, but it's become more and more apparent that that tolerance is running thin. I want to keep her happy.
[Edit] Just talked to my girl, and while she thinks the subject is hella weird, she lets me do me. So while I'll still be on hyper hiatus, I can still doodle if ever I get the time.
This is the toughest thing thing that I've had to do ever, but I've gotta hang up my tablet to make room for other things. I may be back, but it's hugely unlikely.

Basically, It's gonna be an art jam where I sketch out all of y'alls ideas and then pick out which ones you like the best to be fleshed out. Sketches'll be done today, but it'll be a long while before I get all of the ideas fleshed out. Some of y'all already had ideas ready and that's fine! Come on in anyway and have at it!

Here's the gist of it, ive recently been hired by TMC, a trucking company based out of Iowa. I've also recently moved into a new place with my girlfriend.
Last week, during training, i was put in situations that i deemed dangerous by my driver trainer (i.e. gassing through red lights and driving fast through hazardous conditions) and talking to my training coordinator, they thought the same thing. So i had to wait a week in order for them to find a new trainer for me. This set be back quite a bit financially.
Thats why I'd opened up for commissions, so i could make up for the week lost. I was a few bucks short, but it wasnt anything i couldnt handle.
Then I'd run into some unexpected hiccups in my moving finances which set me back much farther than expected.
That being said this christmas was hugely disappointing for anyone expecting something from me since i had been super money conscious and did my best not to go beyond my means so i could afford the move.
So, to conclude, i need some serious financial help... Im about $300 short of being caught up...
Anything that's given will be paid back either tit-for-tat or by reduced art price!
Know, though, that if you want a commmission, i won't be able to get to them untill weekends i have off, and I'll be working through this weekend.

Potential Stream Tomorrow and the future of commissions
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone! Terribly sorry for the hella inactivity,
I've been ultra busy, and when I say busy, I mean i've got almost no time on my hands. Been working two jobs, which I've recently been able to get weekends off from both. That being said, Those weekends are either spent playing D&D or spending time with the most amazing woman. Most afternoons are spent sleeping, seeing as I'm normally up at 2 in the morning and don't get home until about 4:30 in the afternoon.
So, in regards to commissions, I'm going to try something. Rather than open for commissions outright, I'm gonna stream everything on days when I have time/feel motivated. My goal is to get any one piece done in a single session, that way, no one's waiting months and months like last time. That was awful and I felt terrible.
Anywho, When it comes to stream rules, I'll think of some tomorrow before I stream, if I do. All I know is that the prices'll remain the same. Also, I may make all queues reset after every stream unless someone wants to pay to reserve a spot for the next time I stream. We'll see what happens.
Lemme know what y'all think.

Life Update!
Posted 9 years agoIt's been a while since I've had any activity here. Been busy workin' on some commissions as well as wokin' some sweet sweet overtime at UPS.
Anyway, I'm going to do a final batch of uploads here within the next couple of days and after that, I'm going to be going on hiatus until January. reason being it's peak season where I work and I'm going to have an ungodly amount of overtime every week until the holidays are over.

Posted 9 years agoHey all, I'm gonna be away for the weekend helping my sister move to Florida. (16 hour drive.... yaaaay....) She bought me a flight ticket back, though, so that's cool.
That being said, I'm going to shoot for Wednesday august 3rd to have all sketches out to everyone that commissioned me, and then next sunday, august 7th, to have the list completed and all work distributed.
Also, I'm going to keep my footer updated, where everyone who commissioned me is. I'm going to be updating who's I have done and who's I'm currently working on.

Posted 9 years agoTo make a long story short, I'm going to be working on making more work geared for portfolios because I'm starting to feel more like working in a studio rather than a warehouse at this stage in my life. As much as I like doing commissuons, a lot of it is fetish related and interest seems to have plummeted.
So, basically what I'm going to be doing is opening up slots where you give me a character and I "epic" the hell out of it at no charge. Kind of like with the D&D character sheets, but more dynamic and in some kind of situation. Ill only apply this to non-fetish work, though, and if I'm granted full artistic freedom. This means I'll be giving your character qualities that they may or may not have such as abilities and clothing. The character design itself won't be meddled with, but the personality, wardrobe and intagable attributes will be. Also, I'm going to be choosy. I want to be able to draw humans and hugely unique characters. So, if your character is a generic furry, I may not be inclined to use them. However, if your character has traits that I feel would grab the attention of anyone in the gaming or movie industry, namely humans, Just about anything from any mythology or something wholly unique that hasn't been done before, hat will more than likely get a spot.
In addition, I'd like for you to help advertise this by signal boosting this journal. I'm making it a prerequisite.
