I'm just chronically sleep deprived on such a rediculous scale. Every night I am re-awoken every five minutes or so at least. Sometimes 45 second+ stretches of choking while I'm sleeping followed by 15 seconds of breathing followed by yet another 45 second stretch.

Well, I had a great Christmas holidays, but it's over now. I'm in a printmaking class so you can expect more prints this semester... And more art in general, I took a bit of a break from it... Well, I've been doodling, but nothing I want to post...

I've just kept my hand movin' which is good. But you guys can look forward to more art this year anyway :)

You heard right, there will be a boxing week sale: %50 off any commissions (rounded up to the nearest dollar) I receive from the 26th until the night of the 31st.

I've adjusted my rates so they aren't quite as crazy as they were and all commissions come with this guarantee: If you order yours until 3 days before Christmas morning you will get yours complete (though if you order the original through mail it may be delayed you will have a high res scan by Christmas eve.)

If I get absolutely bogged with commissions I'll immediately post a second journal letting people know it'll be closed.

Hey scales and fuzzballs (and others), I've got a couple quick games I made for the sole purpose of making some quick and crappy games.

A remake of a snake game (3.5 hours)

The snake game requires you to hit escape on your keyboard to exit because I was super lazy and out of time...

Both were made with C++/SDL/OpenGL using my own simple 2d rendering engine.

This thread has a two-fold purpose:
1. If you also program, you may enter games for this friendly showcase. The stipulation is that from conception to completion the whole process should be over within the same 24 hours you start... And the total working time should be no more than 10 hours. If you submit a game matching these guidelines that you have created from now until December 26th I'll draw you a free pencil sketch. Submissions should be left as responses here, if you don't have web space you may e-mail a submission, however: maxmike[at]gmail.com

2. If you play any of the games, you are welcome to post screenshots of your highscores and try to beat other people. Please don't photo edit your scores, it's just a friendly competition and I'm curious as to what real scores people can get. No prizes, but it'll be fun.

I celebrate my 10th day on Fur Affinity and cap it off with a total of 6 images in my gallery, 42 people in my watch list, 26 comments recieved on my work and shout page and 277 page views.

To me, this is a success. "Where have you been?" was a question posed by Heratio 1000. I have not been anywhere. I have no extensive galleries I am hiding from you. I have no recent art, the last things I focused on are three years old. I have nothing but sketches and a hope of doing better. So everything you see here has resulted either within the past 10 days, or from the past. I am in every sense of the word, "new" to this.

My goal here is to get better and to share my art with you and I believe that people are interested in my stuff, so I shall continue sharing. Thanks for your encouragement. To repay your encouragement I will post two new pieces tonight (or tomorrow morning.)
