Iron Artist
Posted 15 years agoAlllright, so here's the deali-o.
Iron artist-
5$- and you get one character, at least this quality: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2352092/
Additional characters are five dollars apiece. As usual, I like getting a lot of detail in a suggestion, so let me know what you want in as many words as possible.
The Restrictions are different for each batch; so please read carefully!
as well, given that I'm in school/working/etc at the moment, I can't guarantee a time when they'll be finished.
Because of this, I don't require payment until AFTER it's completed- I'll send you a small version of the picture and once i get the money, I'll send you a bigger one.
as with most things, you can ask for the PSD file (if available/costs extra) or a large, print-quality PNG/JPG/etc (no additional charge)- in the case of traditional, I can mail it to you for the cost of shipping. (usually shipping's free, but at a price this low to begin with. . .)
Anyway! ten of these at a time, and when I've finished them, I'll open up another batch :3
Batch 1
catch: I can do any style I want.

The Commissioning Process (aka ToS)
Posted 15 years agoIf something does not make sense, then feel free to drop us an E-Mail at desert_wind_productions@yahoo.com
When Placing an order:
You are expected to be as detailed as possible.
We are here to give you what you want, so the more details you can give us, the better.
Within the first few emails:
You should tell us what art style you would like your piece in (cartoon, realistic?) how many characters (if any at all) would you like a background, what sort of shading, et cetera.
Once you have received a quote on the price, we can begin ironing out details-
We cannot stress this enough: the more details, the happier the both of us will be.
It ensures that you get what you want, and that we know what we are supposed to be doing.
Once a quote is given, the price will not go up.
The Process:
After we set up specifics, you should be sent a sketch within the next week.
Remember, this is a sketch. It is not in any way a completed picture (unless you ordered a sketch) and is usually done without reference. The purpose of a sketch is to make sure that we have the general Idea right.
Once you Okay the sketch, we will proceed to refine it.
in traditional pieces, this means that we will refine the sketch itself, and pass it by you again with a little bit more detail.
Once it is considered adequate, we will then ink the piece (usually with super-fine Sharpies or a brush point Micron) At this point, if you would like, we may scan color swatches from our Marker selection and send them to you to verify colors, however, you will usually not see progress on your picture until it is finished. If, however, you ask for an update, we will gladly send one.
After the initial sketch, in any digital piece, we will then refine the sketch on the computer. Digital pieces go directly from sketching to inking, and the initial inks, when sent to you, are treated as a secondary sketch. You are still allowed to make changes to small things, such as noses, ears, eyes, clothing details, et cetera.
After the Lines are ironed out, we will then begin to fill in backgrounds and flat colors, to make sure that the general base is correct. Once we are positive that this is so, We will begin to shade or paint in the remaining parts of the picture, depending on what you ordered.
Upon completion of ANY commission, you will be sent a low-grade JPG of the file, as proof that it has been finished. It is at this point that payment is required. Upon receipt, deposit, and Clearing, we will then send you the whole file in TIFF format, via E-Mail, at 300 DPI and printing quality- in the case of a traditional piece, the original will be sent.
Exceptions to our payment rules:
Character, Species, Turnaround, Model, or other reference sheets. For these, we require half payment upon approval of all sketches involved in the reference sheet. This is solely due to the fact that we enjoy very close association with clients during work that will be used as a reference by other artists, to make sure, even more so than usual, that everything is perfect. Due to the constant trading of the working file, potential for taking the picture and running is upped considerably.
What You Can Do With the Picture:
You are allowed to post any art we do for you wherever you like, provided that we are credited for the picture, and a link is provided to lead viewers to our site and/or gallery/ies
We will, unless specifically asked otherwise, post all completed commissions to one of our online galleries, and reserve the right to reproduce the art in the way of prints, portfolios, and/or CDs- There is an additional charge, in the case of art that you do not want us to reproduce for profit.
And if the art is for something meant to be Produced en masse, for Profit, such as in a book or advertisement?
Well, then just make sure we know ahead of time. as this is not a common thing for us to come across (yet), we are still in the process of working out the set of terms that go with this particular boundary.
Restrictions:
There are certain things that we will, under most circumstances, NOT DO.
These things, generally, include:
Pornography, defined as two creatures engaged in intercourse, or one person clearly engaging themselves. This rule may be broken on account of either romance or discretion.
Most other topics, however, are up for discussion. If you are not sure that we will do something, then feel free to ask.
Payment:
We take payments through Paypal, (which covers credit cards, as well as e-checks), Cash, and USPS money order. Checks (via snail mail) will be considered if absolutely no other option is available.
Once the transaction has cleared, Traditional Pictures will be mailed out, and Digital images will be e-mailed at full resolution.
