-I'm still doing animation stuff but not posting that stuff to FA cause its a hassle to do conversions to have it ok on FA.

-reason art is slow on this one is due to most of my money been going to assist folks and bills.

If one sadly just sits down and read thru rules you end up realizing two things

the law heavily concentrates on those younger than 12, those who are teens switch to a different system of "3-4 year gap" but still considered underage until 18 despite several states having consent at 16...

Its messy and the Idola clan often wonder on scenarios though we often just seem to think "Even if I did a comic of two 16 year olds having sex for the first time...it would still fall under child porn as those two characters are still underage, not to mention we already have cases where videos/photos were made of two underage people having sex with each other for the sexual gratification of older people"

We at the end of our monthly discussions just believe though that the laws are in line to how people tend to think; "think of the children" those that are below 12, they then still thinking of them until 16, but when we hit that magic number we stop caring as much and instead just make sure who they are with are within those 3-4 year gap all the while still considering them too young until 18.

I dunno...I still support it as its actually where I find new artist, and they do have a process of being put on the DNP list...and also some artist actually post to it especially videos as theres a much higher file size limit and a much broader file type (I could actually do videos instead of flash)...
and I'm sorta much more recognized on there than actually on FA...


and yet we still have folks going "they steal art" well no its your art being hosted somewhere else yes, but theres a 89% chance someone who is watching you on FA is uploading that art so instead attack your followers to tell them to not do that instead...

Actually practice GOOD business practices

Have a presence on other sites, at least if one site goes down folks can still get a hold of you
Have a business email, then have folks instead send their commission info to that email
Invest time into learning Google Docs, create a fill out form for folks to fill out to do commissions
Learn how to invoice, no the commissioner does not have to pay that fee, that fee should already be included in your prices
Stop asking for the money sent as gift...thats illegal...also its why Paypal became such a bitch on things cause the IRS is upon their ass about folks using gift to avoid taxes...

yea...guess SoFurry and Tumblr will have that image as an exclusive as I'm just gonna keep on chugging on
