No one bid on the auction!

This is not especially surprising to me, since 9 days is not a very long time for someone to decide that they wish to drop $10,000+ on a Furry Character (no matter who that character is). It's not as if I have a hungry customer base like big name fursuit makers do, either. However, I do not regret the price point, nor do I plan to relist Dessy.

I am honestly more than a little bit relieved that no one bid. I was quite anxious knowing that literally anyone (with the funds) could swoop in and nab them, and could treat Dessy however they wanted thereafter...! >.<

If and when I do part with Dessy, it will be less about a "Sale" and more about seeing them into hands I trust to care for them properly or return them. I do not presently have time to orchestrate this, nor do I have a specific recipient in mind, so Dessy will remain with me for the foreseeable future.

The candidate will be chosen more for their relationship to and investment in Dessy rather than their relationship to or investment in me. However, these things are obviously not mutually exclusive, and it is likely that they will find a home with a someone close to me.

Nevertheless, this account remains closed for all intents and purposes. (I won't literally close it, but I will not be continuing to interact here for much longer. Feel free to send a note my way if you are looking to stay connected~)

I know a number of people who got their accounts suspended recently.

I expect to as well, and i don't really plan to do anything about it.

Lately, as some of you may have noticed, i am not as online as i used to be, nor do I have the money or energy i used to dedicate to furry art.

Nevertheless, i still love this community and the creators and those who appreciate celebrate and love all the same cute and kinky stuff i do—and even stuff i don't! X3

You may have noticed that I have been posting Eddie art hourly around the clock for the past day! This Eddie art dump is my second so far.

The person I adopted Eddie from took down all art of her when she wanted to part ways with the character. While I received a lot of Eddie art, mostly drawn by the character's previous owner, it was primarily just solo pieces. The more personal artwork of Eddie, as well as any Eddie art featuring characters belonging to other people will not appear on my account, as it does not belong to me. That's fair, and sort of comes with the territory of adopting a character that was a fursona as well as a character that appeared in many commissions.

At the time of my writing this journal, the art dump currently underway has another 45 images, and they will all be flagged as adult. For efficiency sake, the images of Eddie that I have posted and am continuing to post in bulk

I don't generally mind being touched. I'm a fairly touchy person and the fandom in general is pretty huggy and touchy and cuddly.
Hugs are definitely available to all, but cuddles probably will be scarce...though it really depends on how stationary i am and how often i am in a location suitable for cuddling. I do LIKE friendly, platonic cuddles.

It depends! I am not going to preemptively welcome anyone into my room without consulting with my roomies at all. But we might have humble little room parties and get-togethers.

No actually. Sometimes I wanna be around some people I know, but not because I don't like to meet strangers or make new friends. I just feel most comfortable in an environment where I know at least a few people, and if I'm not feeling super on the ball and energetic socially at a given time, I might lean toward wanting a higher ratio of people I know to people I don't know.

YES actually! This will be my very first time suiting at a convention. I don't know if I will be able to endure long hours of it, but I will put in an effort to be around the con some in suit.

What fursuit will you be wearing?
I will be wearing my beloved Eddie! She is a character and suit that I adopted from  Muzz . I am kind of nervous, because I know that if and when I go out and about as Eddie, I will have a bunch of people thinking that I am Muzz. I don't plan to talk much in suit if I can help it, so that will be a pretty awkward situation for me.

I don't actually have one. I am agender--even anti-gender, you might say. Mostly I go by masculine pronouns because it's habit and most people will unquestioningly and conveniently call me that. "They" is probably most accurate, but "she" and "he" are both acceptable as well; you might confuse people who don't know anything about my gender but know me as a "he" if you go around referring to me as a girl, but if that doesn't dissuade you or it sounds fun to you then knock yourself out! :3

I am single, as of pretty recently. I am not looking for a significant other again yet and don't plan to any time in the foreseeable future, but I certainly don't mind flirting and such. Seriously, though: please just don't touch me inappropriately unless we have specifically talked about that or something; even if I end up in a bed cuddling you, for me cuddles are generally completely innocent and I might be cuddling with absolutely no intention of doing anything besides that. What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
Goals? I just want to enjoy another Anthrocon. This will be my third consecutive year: two years prior, AC was my first ever convention. Each time has been excellent. I like Anthrocon a lot.

I watched all of both of these cartoons within the past week.

They were both very very good and I definitely want more. >W<

This is actually pretty special, too, because while I love animation of all kinds, I generally stick to Anime and don't watch many Western Cartoons.

Episodic content is a fairly big turnoff for me. It doesn't always ruin a show completely, but I feel it usually detracts, and it's how most western cartoons are. Cowboy Bebop is a very popular anime, but the episodic-content-driven feel of it always bugged me lots so I could never get into it.

In any event, I definitely don't have many critiques for either show. I'm glad so many people recommended them to me, since they are both top-notch.

I pass those recommendations on to you! I think you should watch both of these shows!

I'm almost 22! My birthday is on the 14th!

I try to do a "Year In Review" kind of thing around this time. Perhaps even moreso than at New Year's, since birthdays more clearly punctuate a year of my own life.

Probably mostly due to the working full time all year, this past year seriously flew by. The highlights were mostly furry cons, which are my favourite places on Earth (I am at FWA right now and I love it—plus FTM is next weekend Eee!), but I can happily say that some of my closest friends are people I wasn't close to until this pastyear. I value all of my old friends so very very much, but knowing I'm still making good new ones means a lot to me. <3

Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed even the smallest positive interaction to my life in these past 366(? Leap year, wasn't it?) days!

This year comes to a close with me still loving fur cons, happy to meet people who are important to me in person, and Uh...looking for a new job...! x.=.x

2016 is well underway now, and to me that means I should start planning my con attendances this year!

I would loooove to make it to AC and MFF again this year, but I don't have any idea yet what I will be doing for AC room- and travel-wise. Soooo if I procrastinate too much regarding AC, I'll just end up missing it. MFF is still a bit too far away for me to worry about.

FTM is located close to me that it would kinda be a crime to miss. As such, I will very likely attend there this year for the second time. I didn't get a room last time because of the close proximity to my home... Not sure if I will get one this year either. Maybe. Probably not...

I've heard really good things about BLFC, but I know absolutely nothing about it coz I haven't even visited their website or anything yet. I would love to go, but I don't know how likely it is.

I don't really plan to make it out to any others this year, but I am wholy open to suggestions and mayyybe invitations. I absolutely LOVE furry conventions. They are my favourite places on the whole planet to be. I wish I could attend one every single weekend, but the logistics are impossible...and the funds and vacation time just aren't there. X3

I hope to make it out to a handful. Four wouldn't be a bad number. Adding one every hear would be a nice pace and goal~ n.=.n

Plenty of people watching me are people I've never spoken to I guess, but I hope it's not coz you don't feel welcome to! I love this fandom! Nearly all of the important people in my life are only in my life because of the furry fandom.

Dessy isn't just a fuzz dragon. He's also a chimera. I respond to chimera or dragon just fine, but if you want his actual species "Chimera Dragon" is the best I got for you.

Secondly, he's not actually a mix of animals. Actually he's just a mix of traits I like that other animals might have. Just because he has floppy ears doesn't make him "part bunny." Even if I clearly gave him what appears to be a equine parts, for example, that doesn't actually mean he's part horse: in that case, his cock just happens to be shaped the same way because I like that shape.

Also, as a bonus I will say that he is in no way associated with Undertale or any character from that game. It's a lovely game, but I had no idea it would ever exist when I made Dessy.

I am still kiiiinda new to this furry cons business, but I seem to enjoy them more and more.

In particular, though:

This, my first MFF, was probably the single best weekend I have ever had.

It is a great con—although I really think it's outgrowing its venue, looking at the dealer room setup—that is on pace to catch up to AC in size and popularity.

I had a wonderful time. Really truly. A big part of the reason, however, is due to getting to meet and/or chill with. :3

I worry about naming people, because I knowww this journal would be too long if I called everyone by name in this journal. So here are some cliff notes:

I flew in on Thursday with my awesome dog-friend Talbot. We didn't hang out at the convention, but he was a great traveling companion.

In Chicago I was hosted by my local friend Sleepy Shibe—who was a wonderful host and great company! ^=^ We got to snuggle and have soke meals together, but unfortunately that was mostly it becoz they had to study for exams and couldn't go to the convention at all. ;c

The first person I knew who I saw when I arrived at the hotel was Carrot. I spent a very large portion of the con with Carrot, and another large portion (with a lot of overlap between these portions) with Xander, with whom Carrot was rooming. I crashed in their room half of the nights actually, becoz my host lived quite a distance away on the L train's blue line. I'm grateful to their hospitality as well as their really great conversation.
P.S. Carrot is also an amazing artist so check him out of you haven't and you like porn.

I got to meet some vore furs. I s'pose I know a bunch of those that I don't really want to seem to play favourites and name a few. However, I want to give a shout out to Kaelis, who added me to a MFF-specific group chat for vore furs, which I think it pretty neat. That, and I went to a room party of his for a while one night, and that was fun! I even met some people there that I really wanted to meet for the first time. :3!

Heehee I also met a number of my adorable cubby friends, whom I'm always happy to see~ ^-^

Taking a step back: speaking of lovely people I got to meet for the first time, there was a BUNCH!
To name only one that stands out as a major highlight of my con, because I must admit I was already a HUGE fan of his work, already thought he was super cute (I can happily and confidently confirm this), and because we got to hang out for an entire night... Kaitty! Kaittycat! I like him AND his art both very alot. Both of those are super cute, which is a well-known major weakness of mine.

There were other exciting first time encounters, but they were mostly by chance. Kaitty I personally requested to see. He came to where I was to see me, and while I was kinda shy and awkward at first I was really ecstatic! ^.////.^'!

Rrf... I guess I'll name one chance encounter I had, too. Saturday night I ran into Muzz while she was in suit. It was actually like my third time seeing her around, but I was feeling really shy... It took a lot for me to get myself to go over and say Hi, but with all the noise and the fursuit head, I could barely hear her talking. Perhaps mostly due to that, I got flustered and walked away pretty fast, but I was glad I got a couple of hugs—especially with that adorable Eddie suit in the mix. Ed is a really awesome character that I have always loved... And Muzz is one of my favouritest artists who I am kinda shy with even here on FA. I was happy I was wearing the badge she made me at the time tho~ n.//.n';

I want to mention everyone, tbh, but I try not to make my journals really daunting walls of text.

I left Monday morning with Talbot. I napped on his shoulder on both flights. I'm home now and I miss the con and everyone at it. I wish every weekend could be a furry con—especially one so big and nice!

Thank you to everyone who was part of my con experience. I remember all of you, even if I didn't mention you here. I am bad with names, tho, I will admit. X3

Hopefully if and when I go next year, I will meet and talk with even more of yoo lovely fuzzies!
