Woagh, I'm still here! Never actually went anywhere, I've just been burnt out on a lot of drawing. I tried to get back into it some w/ some oc quick references, but uh. Well, atm I'm recovering from a small injury to my non-dominant hand that has left my good side to pick up all the slack in daily life, and my drawing wrist consequently very sore haha.
Then, when I went to plug in my tablet to do some warm-ups and draw some things I owe over on a sideblog, my tablet decided it's having an issue with the HDMI connection and isn't working =v=;;; sooo.. I gotta deal with that before I can draw much again anyways! My old tablet *works* but not very comfortably, so I'm not keen on relying on it.

That said, I'm probably not going to have time to join artfight this year unless very casually with only a few things drawn u_u Maybe next year! Life gets busy and as much as I want to be getting a lot of artwork done, it's on the backburner until a lot of other things have time to cool down, lol.

Guess who can seeeeee (it's me) (I'm very excited!) I knew I had a hard time making some stuff out, but for the longest time I thought I just had a hard time because of that sweet sweet "I try to read the numbers and immediately mix them all up" trouble, lol - but I finally got my eyes checked and turns out maybe I was having a hard time because, surprise, everything was blurry and I had to squint a lot more than I thought I was to be able to focus and make things out. Wym the world isn't a vague blur normally. What do you MEAN most people can read smoothly without having to use context clues to figure out what the words are.

It's an adjustment because something new on my face feels weird and I get a little sore wearing them and my headphones at the same time, and the last time I tried to wear glasses was over a decade ago (when the difference was so mild, I basically didn't need them) but it's already making me feel a lot less eye strain trying to pencil in details and get shapes to feel right! Now if only I can just square away my schedule and organize my personal freetime, extra drawing should be a breeze :3

Sneak hints on some things I'm working on between commissions that some of you might already know about.... I'm about halfway through sketching Kodokugumon, I've got part of a sketch down for TricksterLunamon's Dianamon variant, and I'm slowly chipping away at a big collection of references for Ame owo (I'm not quite done with a 4 point turnaround 'barbie doll nude' ref, but it'll make all the outfits a breeze, and I'm super excited to finish this round of design tweaks!) And for non-visual art (yet) I've been chipping away at that incredibly daunting plot outline for Oathblood! I've got good beats down for about 7 and a half chapters, condensed summaries down for 3 more, and a whole heap of notes that just need to be reviewed and revised into condensed summaries for.. An indeterminate amount of chapters! So if anyone was wondering why I haven't posted a lot lately, it's all the WIPs between commissions, which take priority over just about everything that isn't attending my day job ^^

A reminder that I'm on artfight!! <3 I'm trying to get at least one attack a day done, with a looser goal of 50 overall, and I haven't picked out many characters to draw yet!! I like doing friendly fires, too, so being on the same team as me won't stop me!!

Expect to see a handful of OCs for a little while as I get ready for artfight this year, trying to get at least one referenceable image for each character I'm entering. Between those, though, I'm still on my attempt to draw a variety of digimon - aside from my slower personal art project. I'm probably going to be primarily targeting digimon/digifakes this year, with a small handful of other OCS I've bookmarked ahead of time - I'm hoping to do a lot more than just 4 this year, last year I got burned out bad right at the start, lmao-

I'm also considering making a few adoptables, I keep wanting to design digimon/digifakes for fun, oops- I'll try not to upload too many of those, or at least I'll try to condense some of them to the same upload if I wind up having a handful, I don't want to spam anybody.
