Uh, where have I been?

Busy, not writing (much, at least), managing my mental health, working. It's been a rough month, but I just hope itll ease up and I can focus on writing again.

I got a little writing done.

What can I say, I really needed a vacation. It did help refresh my desire to write more, but getting back into my normal rhythm has also stifled it. But I plan to work as much as I can to get stuff out there. There's a story in editing, a little fun story in the works, plus some art I need to post. Content is coming.

Wow, I missed an update. Oh well, it was much of the same.

I didn't get any writing done, but I did send a story off for editing, so that'll be out eventually. I'm going on vacation tho, so hopefully I can knock out some writing while I'm away. Either way, I still have ideas and want to get them down, I just haven't had time.

Well, these two weeks have been rough.

Personal life and work related hell meant I've had no time to write. No urge, no will, nothing. There wasnt a word on the page. Even the stuff I have ready (including some new art), I never prepped to post. It's been rough the last two weeks. All I can say is I'm sorry, and I'll try and get something out very soon.

So I actually got some writing done...the problem is everything possible has been preventing me from posting it. A couple bad days, losing power at my house, some personal life stuff. I'll try and get something posted Monday and then prepare some stuff the following week, but I can't make any guarantees.

What do you know, I haven't gotten a whole lot of writing done. Again, it's mostly coming down to my busy schedule (especially with my job). But hopefully, I'll be able to get something out soon. Even then, I know yall have been enjoying the art.

I'm glad people are enjoying the art I've gotten. I've still got a couple more pieces to post before I post another story. Writing has been very slow lately if only because my mental health hasn't been the best, and it's been causing a lot of writer's block. Content is still coming, no matter what. So, I got some writing done.

I've got another big story I need to post and then another one of the prompts. I know part of the reason my writing output is slow has been just taking on too much, but I'm going to try and focus and get stories finished and out.

What can I say, I still haven't really written anything.

It's been frustrating because I have plenty of ideas, I know where I want some of the stories to go. I just for some reason can't sit down and write them. I have a story that just needs some final edits, I'll try and get that uploaded this week.

Lots of posting, not a lot of writing.

Okay, so I actually did do a little bit of writing, like a paragraph, but I wasn't a fan of it. Whether it's writer's block or just because of my ultra busy schedule, I don't know.

What I can say is that I'm still trying to write, in fact as soon as I hit send I'm going to write some more. Point being content is coming, always. Just slowly.

Wouldn't you know, what I said happened.

Last week was just super busy for me. I had basically no time to write. I should have a little bit more time the next two weeks to try and write a little, but I don't know exactly know how it's going to pan out. I still have more artwork I need to post at some point as well.

A lot has been done these last two weeks.

I've gotten a ref sheet and two stories posted, and I'll upload more things around the ref sheet soon. Content is going to slow down for a little bit while I complete some IRL things. Nothing major, just my schedule is packed. Either way, more things are coming, including a new poll soon.

I've actually gotten a lot done the last two weeks.

I've gotten a chapter of Scars of War sent off for editing and I'm working on finishing another chapter. I've also got another story very close to being finished and ready for editing, so I can focus on some other pieces that need completion.

Things are getting done slowly, content is coming. I also have something extra special coming very soon I'm super excited for.

So I wrote some more, but I really didn't follow through with my plan. I can still always try it again though.

The last couple of weeks have been rough on me mentally, which has been the main reason for the slowdown. I'm so close to having something finished though so I can post more than just fanart I've received from friends, I just need to write something, anything.

I did get some writing done, not much, but some.

With the New Year upon us, I figured I'd delay the update in order to reflect.

I've been very creative and uploaded a lot, and yall have been very open and welcoming, especially as this time I refused to disappear even in a bout of writers block. I can't thank all of you, friends and watchers or just passersby, enough. It means the world to me.

While my output has slowed, it doesn't mean I don't have things in the works. I hope the new year means bigger and better stories, more pieces, the whole works. I can't wait to see what comes with the new year.

Well, I got some things out at least. There's still more, but again I'm still behind.

I've also finally reached a point with the Nubtober line of stories (aside from not giving that narrative a title yet) where I'm a little stuck. I may end up making a poll about how I should move on with it, but for now I'll try and just post more art I've received alongside some other completed stories. Content is coming per the usual, I'm just busy and slow at working is all.

I guess you could say I'm on a writing hiatus.

Mentally, I haven't been the best. I've been writing, slowly but surely, but nowhere at a rate I'd like. Also doesn't help I have a backlog of content to post and just...haven't. I'm not going to quit, I'll say that much. But I likely need to focus on myself before making content again. But who knows, maybe I'll get a giant burst of inspiration and just chug things out.

In other words, this update is much of the same.

So I've been writing, but it's been a little slower than I'd like.

Content is coming as always, but my busy IRL schedule and certain world events have been making it hard (my good friends should know that Canada looks really lovely this time of year). Even if I have to take these pages down, I'll still create content and I'll find a way to share it, so I'm not going anywhere.

I'll try and get a few more Nubtober prompts done before the end of the month, and once I finish something with Scars of War I'll upload the next chapter.

So, I've been busy.

I haven't had much time to write with my work schedule, which is why the prompts have slowed down. I'm not stopping them, just slowing down. I'm already over a week behind anyway, so it's not going to be done by the end of the month. I did adjust my schedule, so I'll have a little more time to write now, but basically, uploads will be slowing down again. I've enjoy the characters I've made in the prompts too much to just give up on it.

Well, content is here. Just not Scars of War. Mostly as a little challenge, someone had given prompts for all of October, and I've been taking part. I'm keeping them shorter and with a loose continuity just as a challenge. The fourth is supposed to go up tonight, but it hasn't been written yet due to time constraints. Hopefully, the fourth and fifth will go up either tomorrow or Sunday, but we'll see.

Wow, can't believe I got here, but thank y'all so much (also sorry for the shouts). I'm now posting in FOUR places (here, DeviantArt, AO3, and SoFurry), but no content is changing between them. It's all the same stuff, nothing exclusive between the sites, but the art stays here. Either way, thank yall so much.

Sorry, this job has been kicking my ass with the hours. I'm still writing, tho.

The next chapter of Scars of War will come out sometime next week, and Chapter 4 is still being edited. There'll also be another piece of art alongside it (here, of course) that'll drop a few days after.

As far as any major plans, I'm going to try and upload my current archive of stories to AO3 alongside everywhere else I post. I'm not leaving, I just want a third backup for my stories. Hopefully, I'll get most of them uploaded within the next couple of weeks. I just have to learn it's formatting and all of that.

Either way, content is coming. Even working as many hours as I do, I'm still spending some time writing and just hashing ideas.

Well, the power was out at my house when I finally had a chance to make this, so here you go.

The next chapter of Scars of War will be released Monday, and some art alongside it. Chapter 4 has been completed, but I want to try and get a little more of Chapter 5 done before I send it off for editing. Other than that, writing has been slow because of new job, but it's getting done. I don't know exactly when the next poll will be, but it will be coming at some point.
