Peeking from under the rock & Health update

I'm happy to say my hermitting time should be over soon!
I've closed all the big owed commissions and what's left are basically Patreon GiveAway sketches I have to finish before opening my Patreon to the world again. I'd say it should happen in about a week, but I should have learned already not to make promises like this 😅
Giving that I'm still not at my 100%, I'm setting all the big ideas on the back burner - in the coming months I won't be taking any big fully rendered projects or collaborations, maybe rendered icons at most. There are going to be some sketch YCHs and I'm open to take sketch customs.
I'm also sitting on some finished pictures, a few that got stuck on Patreon and a few that are yet to be posted there aaand later here as well.
While being in my creative downtime I did visit my first furry convention (Gdakon) as a vendor! I certainly wasn't feeling prepared, but it turned out to be very rewarding - especially giving my tail harnesses turned out to be a good sell. Right now they work with belt loops, but I'm testing a version for belt tunnels too.
I certainly want to start vending regularly and with a little luck I might be able to visit EF next year. For now I plan to hit local ones - Pawska this fall, next Gdakon, and PFW in April.
As for my health update - I'm going for another hospital visit in July, so keep fingers crossed everything goes well. I'll have to wait a moment to heal too, but DAMN I'm waiting anxiously for all the safety bans to be lifted. I want to eat sushi. I want to drink. I want to go back to gym ;; And probably most of all, I want to finally try out the ADHD meds, but probably not before August 😩

It's been a while since I was properly active at most of my platforms - winter holidays are usually a tough period, and once again December completely threw me out of the game.
The Patreon page billing is currently on hold because of it and should be back once I get everything up to date (let's hope for the end of the month). Don't want to open it until I'm ready to take on another sketch give away^^'.
I have a few ~almost done~ projects that I absolutely need to finish before taking on more work (and again have to learn from the experience about judging my work time and load) so the next commission opening or YCHs will come up probably late February if not March. If there's a project you'd like to discuss, we can do it sooner and put it in a queue, but I probably won't be able to touch it properly before Gdakon.
One of the things I really wanted to accomplish last year was getting diagnosed for ADHD - since I've been sure for years I have it to some degree. I've been trying to cope with it in my own ways, learning about the nature of the issues and how other people deal with them, but none of the stuff I've tried really stuck with me or only worked for a week or two. And since I'm currently in a phase in my life where I really should get my shit together, I grew to the decision I do need the proper diagnosis - one way or another - and professional help in form or therapy and maybe meds.
Of course sole diagnosis is not the cheapest of things, so it took me a good year or more to finally get to it :^)
And guess what - it took a couple of sessions, a few tests, and a whole lot of me pouring my heart out and describing how I tick on daily basis - I am now officially mentally unwell. Yay. The diagnostician also asked if I want to get my autism papers, which I'm also sure of, and the guy is basically sure of it too, but it would take another couple of sessions and proper tests, and won't really be useful for me other than validation.
Anyway, right now I'm waiting for the official paper opinion. Next will be scheduling the therapy and attacking a psychiatrist for some magic pills. Sadly good old Adderall is not really available in my country, and my current health state will probably narrow the options further, but I hope there's something I can try out.
The horrors persist, but so do I.
And if you'd want to help with getting back on my feet and keeping up with therapy costs, you can always toss a coin to your Creature 👉👈

What's chirping at Creature's and Spring Commission Openi...

Boy I wasn't very active for quite some time. A lot of stuff was happening at my end and not everything I am willing to discuss - but I, among the others, moved to a different flat (quite suddenly), was in a hospital for a third time in half a year, and somehow wrecked both my wrists (one of them while sleeping (???)). We're still living in boxes and I regularly visit my docs, but the situation seems to be stable lately.
From the brighter side, the move allowed me to arrange one corner for an extra desk for my little workshop and I finally (again) have space for experimenting with fursuiting. I've been sewing bits by bits some paws, tails, I'm amping my ears game, and trying to make my own patterns. A lot of work before I'm ready to actually make a fullsuit or even a proper partial, but I'm gathering experience and aiming to get a table with parts and a little merch at next year's Pyrkon. I also starter using my telegram channel - it's going to be dedicated to my workshop, and while I might post some finished stuff outside, that's the place where you'll find raw WIPs and project developments logs. It's small for now ;)
As for drawing commissions, I have two bigger projects that lingered. Because of that I won't be looking for any big rendered projects in the near future - but I will be cooking another collaboration piece for when I get my queue properly in order. As for the people waiting - I'll make sure to contact everyone with an update within next week.
I can't take big projects, I am however open for sketches, as they take a lot less time to make. And a Creature gotta start eating again.

Fall Season Round - Fight!!!

This year has been sucky so far. Just to name a few things - had to get a procedure in a hospital, temporarily lost my driving license, and permanently lost my grandma.
Really hoping the end of the year is going to be better. Fingers crossed.
And not to depress you too much - there were some good stuff. We've got a little sausage dog and are going to move to a bigger place in about a month.
Anyway, I have a few things to upload and my commission queue counts one last project to finish, which means I'm open for commission inquiries ;)
I can do sketches, something fully rendered, and I have a few YCH series that are still open. Contact me here or on telegram if you're interested :)
You can also just drop a penny for Creature! All the donated funds are going to be spend on feeding the furball.

Commission Opening for Spring

I'm finally backlog free and this means I'm able to gather a queue of custom projects for this Spring-Summer season. If you'd like to get a custom icon, sketch, a sketchpage, reference, or a fully rendered Creature Feature commission from me, contact me on FA or twitter.
All of the projects will be priced individually, but by a rule of thumb (as I do not have a proper Price List right now):
Icons, stickers and other tiny pictures will go for around 45 euro
Sketches starts at 100 euro; adding more characters, backgrounds, complex props will make the price higher
References can work in 2 tiers - either in a sketchy style, which would be cheaper, or with crispy lineart; the final price strongly depends on the number of views of the characters and additional details and props
Fully rendered commissions starts around 250 euro, going up with number of characters and overall complexity of the picture. I do not draw complex background well - so if you'd like an epic environment for the commission, I propose finding another artist with whom I could collaborate on the project. I could also ask my friends for help in the matter.
I've also made a folder with currently open YCHs in my FA gallery. You can find a little auction rerun there and sketch series I'm still willing to draw. How about a playful yarn, a bigass mug of coffee, or a shame(less) sketch? ;)

About the future of my auction YCHs - I have 2 ideas vaguely prepared for the moment when I can actually take on more of this type of work.
One of it would be a continuation of the dragon bath theme (>1<, >2<). You'd think a place like that would have a decent security service, to ensure safety of the crew - but what if the guard on the look out is not really awake and his alarm phone is not really in place, thus not ringing? I plan a little scene where you can see the sloppy guard in his guardhouse, and the crew in the background, trying not to get eaten by a dragon that went loose from his bounds. One of the crew makes it... into dragon mouth. I'd be selling the dragon slot and a few smaller for the crew, including the guard.
The other thing I'm considering is a medieval fair piece, where there's a dragon sale on the market. A few bounded dragons, one being shown off in the middle by the seller, and a few being prepared in the background. This would consist of around 3 dragon slots and at least one seller.
Giving the time I invest in fully rendered pieces - and that I do not want to give up on the quality - the SBs for the biggest slots will probably start around 250 euro.
Which one of the auction ideas would you like to see first? ;)

While the first stays at 3+euro and still gives an access to all additional content, the 10+euro tier gives you a Discount on all commissions set out for a sell. 10% out of commissions with fixed price (like Sketch Series) and 10% off of bidden prices and ABs in auctions 👀💦
As for plans for future commissions opening other than sketches... not in the nearest future! I took way too big of a bite and still chewing. I give you 2 Sketch Series to queue in, while I'm working on another epic thing:
"Shame" Sketch Series, all kinds of creatures admitting to shameful stuff. No remorse so far!
"Bottoms up!" Sketch Series, feral creatures exposing their behinds.

It might be short, but it is designed to show off some character traits of Florence before we get to know her better. I will probably go with a few short stories to set the characters and get a bit more flexible with writing a comic, before actually diving into the main plot - it grew on itself and I wouldn't want to spoil the good story by half-assing my medium.

Regarding Commissions Delays and Future Opening

Dearest apologies for delays on current commissions - I'd planned finishing them in December, but my sinuses decided I'd rather lay down with a fever for a little bit. I tried working through with it, but ignoring the symptoms did not work well^^' Now I'm healthy, happy, and just a little stressed, because I'm not able to make money in January, as I need to catch up with the work I got already paid for. I can only promise that the pictures I'll deliver are going to be worth the wait o7
As for those asking for future Openings for Commissions - I need to first finish off what I have taken for myself. I'd like to close everything in January and tackle more projects in February. I do have a few YCHs ideas, but I'll also be open for custom projects such as references and illustrations, both SFW and NSFW.
I'd also like to commit some more time to developing my comic idea, but my personal art is hardly a priority now. I was holding off on setting up Patreon until I have actual comic pages, but maybe a bunch of sketches, early page drafts, and letting people in on a bit of the plot would be enough?
If you'd like to help me recover from the involuntary hiatus and take some stress off of my shoulders, you could tip me or throw me some change. I would greatly appreciate that.

And as my birthday present this year was officially becoming a Completely Autonomic Human Being™, who'd like to build a house in somewhat measurable future:

On the other note. I've borrowed a sewing machine from my mom to try fursuiting a bit. I am strongly considering investing a good chunk of money into this business, as I love tinkering, crafts, and do have some engineering knowledge. The dream would be a fursuit parts shop - but to start that I'd need 3D printer(s), good fur, maybe some arduinos, airbrush, my own sewing machine... around 4k$ for start that I do not have now. Gotta start smol! I don't want to do foam head bases, so until I buy Prusa I will just master old Łucznik uwu

The dream would be a fursuit parts shop - but to start that I'd need 3D printer(s), good fur, maybe some arduinos, airbrush, my own sewing machine... around 4k$ for start that I do not have now. Gotta start smol! I don't want to do foam head bases, so until I buy Prusa I will just master old Łucznik uwu

I got in touch with the accountant last month and left there some monnies. In the exchange I learned a bit about our tax system and how exactly am I supposed to pay them. Also I got reassured that selling digital art over internet doesn't put me in need of making own legal company, so I can make as much of it as I am able ;D
In conclusion: Creature's Creation Incorporation is open for business! Please, send a Note for the details. I don't have big morals and will draw almost anything beside scat and cubs.
Also I'm thinking of Patreon when I finally start the comic project I've been hopping around for a bit. I guess I'll wait first for a 100 watchers threshold.

As it's a first time I'm trying to reach out for you, I should probably shower you with some information about myself. Well, I was wondering for a bit about what could I drop on you, then wanted to write about how unimaginative am I, and this sets me up for some not really funny joke. Have you ever heard of aphantasia? Well I've got it, which means I literally can't visualize anything in my mind. So a weird fact of the day is behind us ;D Let's talk business. I've learned a few days ago that if I want to draw commissions for people, I should probably make a registered company. I wouldn't mind it, but it takes a lot of logistics to get this to work neatly and fully legally. Until then, I have a limit of about 300 USD (50% of my country's minimal monthly wage) I can make on commissions monthly, before I am ordered by law to register the company, pay some ransom every month and keep every penny counted.
Anyway, before making the big step, I need to see an accountant (and probably more than once...). I've thought that it would cost about 25-40 USD/hour to do so and talk about The Plan, but it takes 85! QQ If anyone wanted to contribute to this particular goal, I'll be thankful for even slightest donation on my streamlabs. Best with the description that it's a donation... Better safe than sorry when it comes to taxes^^'
