Back from the dead!
Posted 10 years agoAs some of you may have noticed, eheh e_e; I haven't been active in over a month.
The reason was a combination of stress and depression and irl stuff, which made me not even care enough to post about my hiatus. The massive slump meant I couldn't art either.
But, I've managed to recover, thankfully! I'm still easing back into drawing, so art may come a bit slowly at first. Thank you for your patience!

Comic & Raffle: chance to win fabulous prizes
Posted 10 years agoSo sorry, but today's comic page will be delayed >_< It WAS fully funded! Thank you all you nice people! So I will draw it, but it might be up only next week. The last couple of weeks had been super busy for me so I haven't had the time to get past scripting it.
And the people who funded $5 or more in the past will get their hi-res versions, as well as an automatic entry into a raffle I'm going to be doing.
People donating $5 or more will be entered for a chance to win a full color single character picture, no background (that's worth $60) and people donating $10 or more will be get a chance to win a full color picture of two characters! ($120 value!)
I'll contact you by email and respond with a number. The winning number will be drawn at the end of each month via Random.org and the winner will get a wing-it commission of their characters (so no WIP previews). To make it clear, this is one raffle, two tiers.
Again, this is on top of getting a hi-res or PSD copy of the comic page! n_n The raffle is just an added bonus.

Weasyl Woes

So, as some of you know, I was doing discounted commissions exclusively on Weasyl. Well, apparently, I can't contact a couple of my customers now because I was suspended for 15 days! 15 days is a lot. Imagine a site (like FA) going down for that long - no way to check your messages, no way to comment, etc. And not only that, but they removed like 20 or so (already cropped/censored) pictures from my gallery, even the really old ones that no one seemed to be bothered by before. And all this was without any prior warning or request for me to take care of things myself.
Now, I'm writing this not because I want any white knights saving the day lol, but as a warning because some artists have moved to Weasyl, or want to move there, and something like this happening to them would be terrible for their business if they have no other site to fall back to and have no other way of contacting their customers. So please let as many Weasyl artists know as possible so this doesn't happen to them. Half a month without pay is pretty darn bad, especially if art is your only source of income!
I'll regain access eventually and will be able to contact my Weasyl-only customers, so no worries. n_n

I have expenses coming up, making commissions higher priority than my comic. Those who would like to see the comic continue on a regular schedule can help fund it by donating to a goal of at least $40 per page. Except I'll be really busy next week, so next week's update will be postponed either way. :(
People who donate $5 or more will also get a hi-res or PSD file (your choice) of the page. But any amount, even one dollar, will be appreciated. :)

Posted 11 years agoI got over my sickness just in time for the holidays, so that Christmas wish came true! The holidays have been busy, but fun! Thank you to everyone who sent me gifts <3 And now it's time to get back to drawing, I am so behind on commissions, the comic, and art in general. x_x
Hiatus
Posted 11 years agoUgh, I wasn't getting any better so I went to the hospital where they ran some tests and prescribed me antibiotics. On top of that, my back suddenly started hurting really bad, so I can't sit up or stand for long periods of time. So, I am forced to put my comic on hiatus, and all drawing, in fact. I'll try to finish up the commissions I've started on and got paid for, but don't expect much activity from me for a while. T_T

Delays
Posted 11 years agoI kinda ended up getting sick and I spend most of the day sleeping, and as a result it's gotten really hard to get any art done x_x So, I just thought I'd let everyone know that there will be delays with commissions and with the comic, unfortunately. Ugh, sick
Posted 11 years agoSo I started getting kinda sick a few days ago with a slight queasiness and light headaches, but I thought I would get better, and then yesterday it got much worse T_T I think I have a flu. My bf is sick as well, but with something else, I think. This has made drawing very difficult, as I start feeling bad after even just an hour on the tablet/computer. I really want to finish my commissions, but I think I need to take a break until I get well again. I apologize for the lack of uploads.

My Birthday
Posted 12 years agoHello guys, it's that time of the year again where I tell you about what's it's like to be another year older. So yes, I'm now 20! And as such, I estimate this is the oldest I've ever been, like oh my god I'm so damn old right now, lol.
I'll update the journal maybe tonight, or tomorrow, to tell how it went. Not really expecting anything exciting to happen, though.

My laptop broke like a week ago (I'm typing from a different computer right now) and I had no idea why! I finally found out what the problem is (What happened is my laptop stopped charging properly while plugged in. The connection felt wobbly or loose, and I was told that the power jack broke inside the chassis.) and it's going to take $115 for the new part and to fix it. T_T
Unfortunately, I won't be able to work on commissions until it's fixed either. Once I take it in, it should take only about 3 days to fix. So, I would really appreciate donations for this!
