OK, so today after speaking with my insurance on my disability claim they noted that my doctor stated that I should be able to return to work on September 28th, 2023 not November 28th, 2023. What gets me really frustrated about this is that they knew this information, and did not even tell me during my follow-up appointment after my surgery, so now I feel like total shit for even making that post yesterday cause now as far as I can see I will be only hurting for at least 1 month instead of 4 months.
I do apologize for yesterday's post, I was going off the now-defunct information that was presented to me after surgery and made a call to lean heavily in the tip jar and commissions, because I thought I wouldn't have a viable income for the next 3 months. This news though good really caught me off guard and I felt like at least for those who have supported me they need to know. With all that is being sad commissions are still open until I get back to work in late September and I do have a Tip Jar open with Kofi for those who still like to help out

Post Surgery, Commissions, and Kofi
General | Posted 2 years agoWhew, it has been a long month for me and I have 3 months left before I go back to work, let's check my bank account.
Checking: $0 :D.........Well Im fucked lol
Honestly, I knew I was going to be struggling for a while since I wouldn't be able to work after this surgery, which by the way was a success in finally ridding me of that annoying little hernia I had. Either way, I am still dependent on commission work. I am almost finished with the first one, and sketching the second one, The only tough one I am doing is the third one which has a pose I never had to try out before but I will see how that goes If not, the worst case scenario I ask the person if I could try a different pose.
I still have at least 7 slots open and if anybody is interested you can contact me
I have also opened up a Kofi account, I won't be able to post my Spicy content on there but if you like to donate to support me, or to commission me you can always try that route. A link will be shared at the end of this journal. I am highly considering of opening it up as a membership tier but we will have to see on that.
It's looking to be a rough 3 months for me, and I am glad that at least I won't be living on the streets as a result of me being out of work. So tomorrow this digidurg will be going under the knife to rid myself of this damn hernia that's been plaguing me for months. During that day I will be offline on Discord and my other social media platforms of course, and will respond as soon as possible about how everything went. with that being said, I won't need help with medical bills--5 years of Naval Service took care of that--However, I will sadly be out of the Job for 4 months, and with that, I will be looking to heavily rely on my secondary income....which is commission work. With that my commissions are still wide open to anybody willing to support me through these tough times, I will also be open to the idea of doing quick 5-dollar rough sketches as another avenue for my commission work.
It's going to be rough for these upcoming four months, if anything I hope I can get back to work sooner, however, honestly, this will give me more time to do the things I would like to do as an artist. Those sending their good wishes I thank you in advance, You are what keeps this digidurg going.

Today I am going to discuss a significant change in my commission prices. After doing said commissions and building enough confidence in my artwork (which I need to post something, even if it's WIP), I have decided to change my commission prices to fit my skill style.
The reason why I am doing this is, of course, what I just said previously, I built up enough confidence to charge more.
Another reason is for financial reasons. I need to start earning more as an artist so I do not depend on other income in the future, so this is a way to slowly increment the price so I can make a living and not rely on my family for help so often.
Those are the main reasons I am raising the price of my commissions, adding to the reason for the rise in the cost of necessities.
It took a while to figure out how I would implement this price change, but with the advice and help of friend @@psudodrake, here is what we came up with.
Sketches for now on will be $20
Then add an increment of $10 for each segment, like lining, coloring, and shading.
So let's say you want a sketch then lining that is $20+10= $30
Or coloring that is $20+10+10= $40
Shading same thing $20+10+10+10= $50
And that is how it's going to work.
Adding in another character is still $5, and of course, logo design is still $10-$15 depending on the complexity of the logo though I may end up changing that to a per-hour method. That will probably be something that I will do for graphic design freelancing and such.
Now I know, looking at that $50 price tag for shading, as some of you are looking nervously at your wallets/purses (because I am an equal opportunity Mutha Effa XD), but please understand as time moves on, I have to adapt and change to survive. Also, this price change gives everyone more options to pick and choose because, let's say, you have a sketch already from another artist, and all you need is lining and coloring. So you can pay the $20 amount that it would cost to get that done and vice versa.
This is a big step for me; I worry I am asking too much for something, mainly due to my anxiety and low confidence, which is primarily why my prices were low before. If this puts you off from commissioning me again, I can understand, but for those willing to still commission me after this price, I give you my thanks and hope to work with you.
I will work on a document discussing the price changes and adding another social media platform for you guys to find me for commissions.

30 Called
General | Posted 3 years agoThis week 30 came knocking at my door, waved, punched me in my gut, and flipped me the bird before jumping into its car and speeding off. Starting Monday I had acute pain in my abdominal area which I thought was either the big Appendix starting its countdown, or a Kidney stone.....nope it turns out its more or less Gastritis which is an inflammation of the stomach, which is a nice fancy way of saying my diet now needs to change in order for problems like these do not happen again.
I have been on medication to help me with the condition, and it seemed to have finally calmed my stomach down enough to heal, and continue working at my job and continue with finishing one commission and starting another one. On that note I would like to thank the Commissioners for their patience after being diagnosed with my condition, I will try to get back started on working on your commissions today and tomorrow.
I would like to also thank those on discord who I have told and who gave me support, you guys kept my spirits up throughout the entire trial of this condition
and to my lovely boyfriend,

This Digi Durg is now a Bachelor in Fine Arts in the Field of Graphic Design, the video that I just posted to this Journal perfectly encapsulates my mood the whole day Sunday and Monday. I thought I would never be able to see the other end of College but hey out of three of my siblings, I have two college Diplomats. One for my Associate's and another for my Bachelor's. With this Saga of my life finally over, I will be shopping my resumes and portfolio around for a Graphic design Job, I sadly have to move in with my parents. Still, I already have Job opportunities, and the clientele I picked up in Memphis is waiting for me. I heard of one website where I can go and post myself available for Graphic Design work but I forgot the name so if anybody knows what I am talking about please send the website's name my way.
I am now reopening Commissions and opening 5 slots so for those wanting a commission DM me on my discord, or note me here

Back to School, Graduation, RP and Art commissions

Back at it again and hopefully for the Last time, this will be Durg's final semester in college, and she will be graduating in December if everything goes well. I already sent in my stuff for graduation and I can't wait to walk across the stage finally and receive that hard-earned diploma in graphic design ^^. With that being said, I will be battening down the hatches for this final push so this with affect Both Rping and Commissions going forward.
I will be taking fewer Art commissions but I am opening more slots, do keep in mind I will be flooded with projects for school so if i have to deny your request I do apologize in advance. Rp is greatly going to be affected, but I am not too worried about that since most of my RPs are Twitter and that is more at my own pace
actually started to get real-world clientele for my graphic design so I am going somewhere, but not too quickly, lol
expect more artwork from me in the coming days there was a lot I was doing over the summer just got to finish up on them and finally freaking post them (which I do not have a good track record of doing lol). Update: RP, Commissions, and Life in General

Been a while since this durg did one of these update things, but here we are. So first things first lets get a few things out of the way
RP, since my bowing out of RP on Discord I have found it has been way more beneficial than I thought it would be. Twitter despite being well twitter has a really good RP community that have been very patient with each other so far in my regard. I have ran into a few bad actors and I still need to watch out for certain accounts of the illegal range, But all in all it's been great. I have been RPing with a close set of friends and a certain special someone on discord, and again, no I will not reveal them to you and if you dare harass them about RPing with you are on my shit list. I should have more time for RP since its getting close to summer break college wise.
With that matter out of thee, and you haven seen it in the title. I believe... That I feel comfortable enough... To work on commissions. My drawing skills are still a little off and I am still working on some personal art that I hope to complete soon, but I believe with my skill level coupled with the skills that I learned in Graphic Design I can
A. Work on half body somewhat full body shots with sketching, lining, and coloring
B. work on Icons
C. Be comfortable enough to work on someone elses character with some references to use, of course
Again, I am not perfect, so when it comes to these commissions its a get what you paid for sort of thing, along with that is art security since NFT's are sadly still not dead yet. (From what I have been that bubble is going to pop soon and I will be there with a bag of popcorn to watch the chaos after) I will be implementing a watercolor logo just for the sake of hopefully not seeing my art on one of these damned NFT sell sites. Hey, this durg is not perfect but she does not fuck around with people stealing my art or anybody's art that she commissions from. I will be writing up prices, and guidelines with also updating for color and texture commissions as well. I am highly considering doing some character auctions with the base packs that I have obtained through purchase, I have already talked to the creators of these base packs and they have given me the ok to do that so long as I give credit and make sure it's not overpriced...... This is also stated in the terms of use in their base packs that they allow the use of character auctions but I still want to make sure. I WILL NOT WORK FOR FREE OR "EXPOSURE" so let's get that shit out of the way right the Flip now.
Ok Life in general, next semester is my final semester in college before graduation that is the good news. Bad news the 9/11 GI bill only allows 4 years, so I will not have funding next semester from them (even though I pretty much served my country, and find it bullshit that veterans get treated that way, but hey can't have free education in this country *rolling eyes*). Middling news I have signed up for scholarships with some in my graphic design field and one in particular dealing with the 4 year 9/11 GI bill bullshit, so hopefully I get funding from one of them, I still have Fasfa, and hey, worst case scenarios if I do have to get a loan, those bastards are only going to get me for one semester so hah.
I will be having a job over the summer since I sadly have things called bills so, there will be times I won't be free because of that, and next semester will be me doing an internship so yeah, if my time this semester was hell wait till you see me dealing with shit on the road to graduation.
To address the one off journal that I have just deleted, that was me at a low point, the stress of work was getting to me and I was having a panic attack about a certain creator on FA. I don't want to name them, but we have talked it out and sadly that is as far as I can go, they will have to tell you about it if you ask them.

Been a while since this durg did one of these update things, but here we are. So first things first lets get a few things out of the way
RP, since my bowing out of RP on Discord I have found it has been way more beneficial than I thought it would be. Twitter despite being well twitter has a really good RP community that have been very patient with each other so far in my regard. I have ran into a few bad actors and I still need to watch out for certain accounts of the illegal range, But all in all it's been great. I have been RPing with a close set of friends and a certain special someone on discord, and again, no I will not reveal them to you and if you dare harass them about RPing with you are on my shit list. I should have more time for RP since its getting close to summer break college wise.
With that matter out of thee, and you haven seen it in the title. I believe... That I feel comfortable enough... To work on commissions. My drawing skills are still a little off and I am still working on some personal art that I hope to complete soon, but I believe with my skill level coupled with the skills that I learned in Graphic Design I can
A. Work on half body somewhat full body shots with sketching, lining, and coloring
B. work on Icons
C. Be comfortable enough to work on someone elses character with some references to use, of course
Again, I am not perfect, so when it comes to these commissions its a get what you paid for sort of thing, along with that is art security since NFT's are sadly still not dead yet. (From what I have been that bubble is going to pop soon and I will be there with a bag of popcorn to watch the chaos after) I will be implementing a watercolor logo just for the sake of hopefully not seeing my art on one of these damned NFT sell sites. Hey, this durg is not perfect but she does not fuck around with people stealing my art or anybody's art that she commissions from. I will be writing up prices, and guidelines with also updating for color and texture commissions as well. I am highly considering doing some character auctions with the base packs that I have obtained through purchase, I have already talked to the creators of these base packs and they have given me the ok to do that so long as I give credit and make sure it's not overpriced...... This is also stated in the terms of use in their base packs that they allow the use of character auctions but I still want to make sure. I WILL NOT WORK FOR FREE OR "EXPOSURE" so let's get that shit out of the way right the Flip now.
Ok Life in general, next semester is my final semester in college before graduation that is the good news. Bad news the 9/11 GI bill only allows 4 years, so I will not have funding next semester from them (even though I pretty much served my country, and find it bullshit that veterans get treated that way, but hey can't have free education in this country *rolling eyes*). Middling news I have signed up for scholarships with some in my graphic design field and one in particular dealing with the 4 year 9/11 GI bill bullshit, so hopefully I get funding from one of them, I still have Fasfa, and hey, worst case scenarios if I do have to get a loan, those bastards are only going to get me for one semester so hah.
I will be having a job over the summer since I sadly have things called bills so, there will be times I won't be free because of that, and next semester will be me doing an internship so yeah, if my time this semester was hell wait till you see me dealing with shit on the road to graduation.
To address the one off journal that I have just deleted, that was me at a low point, the stress of work was getting to me and I was having a panic attack about a certain creator on FA. I don't want to name them, but we have talked it out and sadly that is as far as I can go, they will have to tell you about it if you ask them.

State of RP on Discord

Tried to limit my time to doing rps to evenings and afternoons, altered it to two main time periods 330 PM CST 830 PM CST, that shit wasn't working. My final grasp was limiting it to one person... And to tell you honestly that shit isn't working either.
What is now the final nail in the coffin for public discord RPs; is me coming back from a long day in College, sitting at my PC, opening Discord and seeing 17 messages, With one sticking out to me which rudely stated "Hey Its RP time..." Like I am some godforsaken mutt, and you need to get your kicks off......I had it.....I have never been that disrespected in my life, and I feel it is time to end Discord RP. So here is how it's going to work this time
You want to RP with me, fine, but it will be on twitter, where the response time is not as fast paced and its slow and steady to give the ones doing RP enough time to I don't know enjoy their fucking lives. General | Posted 4 years agoHello Sugas, I have something important to say when it comes to RPing, I recently had the experience of burnout on RP discord, actually, burnout with RP in general. The recent hiatus that I went through made me realize an uncomfortable truth, I can no longer handle multiple Rps at the same time anymore and for now on I will only be doing one at a time. I came to the realization when the quality of my Rps started slipping, and I was getting burnt out a lot quicker than normal, therefore in order to mitigate this I am going to have to limit Rps to one person in order for me to keep going, doing this will also have the extra benefit of being more flexible when school starts up again.... That's in a couple of weeks. I do apologize if this is inconvenient, but I feel if I don't make this change (or keep changing up things a bit to work with my schedule), then I will find myself burnt out from RP, forcing me to close up shop for one final time. The only way I would do multiple Rps at the same time would be on twitter do with its slow pace setting, but for now I will be sticking with just doing a single RP in the afternoons and evenings.

Should I set up a Patreon Tip Jar, and if so would anybody support me on said Patreon? I am reluctant of creating one again, but I feel my artwork is somewhat good enough to be a small creator to try to open one. Of course it won't be a monthly subscription, since I won't have the time to actually do something like that, but rather having it set up where every time I complete a WIP or the Full photo it it will charge money and the end of the month individuals will pay the full amount. A charge per artwork is what they call it.
Again, I am still deciding and I am open to suggestions and advice if anyone has any for me. I am not going to paywall my stuff since one i don't think my artwork is good enough to pay wall, and two i would at least do a public release after doing a patreon release.

Even the name Devon292 was just me making up a username without thinking about it, let alone something as permanent as I thought. Hiatus from RP
General | Posted 4 years agoYeah, like the title says, I'm gonna take an RP break for a while. This Digidurg need to focus on these projects for school, and if I continue to RP while doing that I may just start ending up burning out. I don't know when I can come back. It may be during break times like fall break (which is coming up), Thanksgiving time, or until the end of the Fall semester in December. I will try to keep everybody up to date as possible, but for the moment, school is important. This also gives me some time to write some stories for a certain series and get some drawing done in my off time, so if you are looking at the positive there is that. School!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and some other stuff
General | Posted 4 years agoLike the title says suga's school is finally here. after a long summer of working at (doing back-breaking work no less), the Digidurg is now finishing up her schooling to achieve my bachelor's hopefully by this year or next year. Classes are already kicking up with me having projects due this week and the next, along with a test this week, So RP is going to be whenever I can p[ersonally make time

Well, looks like this Dragoness just made it through May and is kicking ass in June ^^ but as the title states, I do have a serious thing to talk about. OK, RP's, really did try and I do apologize to all my rpers out of the states; as of now, I will no longer be doing afternoon rps. I really tried to keep that going and alive moving it to a late time like 3 PM CST, however with the workload from real life, and the fact graduation is around the corner, coupled with classes being long and in person. I won't be able to keep it up, maybe I will bring it back in the future but for now, I am exclusively 830PM CST, which cuts half off my list and I do apologize.
OK, the final reason we are going to talk about is what I am starting to find out about myself recently. For a long time, I switch from male and female characters, all the characters that I come up with or draw are an extension of myself and everything that is about me. That said if the pick of Avia is not any indication yet, well I do not blame you, Behind this computer screen I have always considered myself a bisexual Male, but don't feel like I am just Male if that makes sense. I started to feel more and more feminine, to the point I believe that I feel that I am Bigender. For those who don't know what Bigender is here is a Definition

CFA WORK BEGINS/ and other things to address

So as the title states, CFA work begins, and for the first day of training, I have duty tonight.......So exciting, but yes, it seems like my schedule will have me having duty days for today, Thursday, and Saturday. I won't have duty again until the end of the month. So rp during duty weeks will be iffy mainly because I will be doing things such as walking the building and being on call for the rest of that day.
- I have also been assigned to a project for CFA, one due the 14th and another due to the 18th of May, so I will be busy this week completing those assignments
In other news, I have recently posted a caption image https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41798145/, and I was thinking of either opening up request or commissions for this style of art. I will have to sleep on this idea, but I felt comfortable making this kind of art, and I wonder if anybody will be interested in this if I start doing them. If anybody has a suggestion on creating captions images, I would like to hear.

This is mostly my inability to describe what I would like and usually me caving into certain things that I don't want to do. Nevertheless, here are some things over the years I have spent on RP that you should have a general idea about me
I. First off, I am male in real life
- that is the only confusion I try my best to clear up but end up failing when I do
- I am Bisexual and have a boyfriend; you saw me mentioning him on my Fur affinity page
- I play female characters mostly but will do male characters
- My intention was never to catfish anybody; when I get a chance, I try to warn them that I am male behind the computer screen
- Even in my Twitter Bios, I try to warn individuals that is yes; I am male in real life
II. Twitter RPs and Discord RPs are way different
- My discord style of RPs is known to be fast-paced, so I respond as quickly as I can
- Twitter, on the other hand, is meant to be slow-paced, so I would hold on responding that much

A. Sentences
o I have a minimum requirement for Rp, which is when I am Rping with you, give me at least 1 to 2 sentences. You would not believe the severe headache I endured when I write out a sentence and somebody leaves a fragmented word such as "And then they walk this way,"
o This tells me you want a commissioned story—which I cannot do—rather than an Rp. It is highly annoying, and it seems like I am doing the brunt of the work, and the RP will become boring.
o Not asking you to write a paragraph or right at my level but please at least 1-2 sentences.
B. Main fetishes
o If you haven't noticed, my main fetishes are growth RPs dealing with Muscle Growth and Macro growth
o I also lump Deiphilia in there, which is more like an attraction to gods and goddess, with Deification being an attraction to becoming a god or goddess
I have other fetishes, but they are not for everyone, so please ask me about them first to see if you are interested in them
I am going to try J-list again since I have not been updating that when it comes to my fetishes
V. TimeZones
o I am in the Central Standard Time U.S. for some of you in the U.S. or Canada, that may not be a problem, and you may be an hour ahead or two hours behind
o But for those who are outside of the U.S., you will need a time zone converter to make sure our times match up

A. RP Denied
o When I deny they are Rp its again comes down to several factors
You have managed to anger me, and I do not wish to rp with you
Our interest is not matching up; therefore, it's best we don't rp does not mean I hate you at all; we can't seem to find anything in common
I am busy right now, and my RPs are closed
It's the middle of the night, and I am asleep
Ex-military mood tends to fluctuate, and I do have down periods where rp does not seem feasible at the moment
o Please respect this decision and do not bombard me with an rp request after I denied you
B. Changes
o Ok, finally to the changes on Rps, and this is going to be how I run Afternoon Discord rps from here on out
Moving the time from 130 PM CST to 330PM CST, That is if I am free for those days for afternoon RPs if not I will get you next time
o I am thinking of adding more of my characters to rp and creating another server strictly for rps with a Discord tulbot; I won't make an account after an account on Discord or Twitter.

I. First off, I am male in real life
- that is the only confusion I try my best to clear up but end up failing when I do
- I am Bisexual and have a boyfriend; you saw me mentioning him on my Fur affinity page
- I play female characters mostly but will do male characters
- My intention was never to catfish anybody; when I get a chance, I try to warn them that I am male behind the computer screen
- Even in my Twitter Bios, I try to warn individuals that is yes; I am male in real life
II. Twitter RPs and Discord RPs are way different
- My discord style of RPs is known to be fast-paced, so I respond as quickly as I can
- Twitter, on the other hand, is meant to be slow-paced, so I would hold on responding that much
- I do have many discord accounts, but I tend to not jump in between them from time to time, unlike my Twitter accounts, in which I jump from character to character

III. Small talk is not my thing, and random rp request are annoying

o I do have anxiety, so if it seems like I am not talking that much to you, I am not trying to ignore you; I am just shy
o Another thing is if I am busy with something so I can't talk to you right now
o It does annoy me when someone wants to chat at midnight when I am already in bed
o Again, it's not me trying to ignore you, but I don't feel like that much of small talk, and I usually am busy; I will try to respond, but unless you are someone I know, please be respectful
B. Random Rp request
o I'm not too fond of random Rp request flying at me from 0-100mph, especially the ones that try to slide the conversation into an RP that is quite annoying
o When I deny an RP its usually boils down to several factors

RP, moving, and drawing

The first thing I would love to address is RP, and that is I am going to open up RP slowly for everybody for next week; school is starting to slow down, and besides finals week, I can get a good holding on getting RPs in, between periods of when.
Now with school winding down, that means the college would be closed over the summer, Now unless I am doing Summer courses, I will not be allowed to stay at the college unless I can get hired for this CFA job that I applied for, so if I can't, there will be a week where I will be moving out of the dorm and moving back to Jackson temporarily until the semester starts. This obviously gives me more incentive to start looking for apartments in Memphis.
Drawing has slowed down significantly this past few months due to the influx of work, but I think it calmed down enough to start finishing and posting some works on here to be a huge plus for me.
And that is all I have to report on Suga's catch you on the flip side.
