How is the best way to find you? Do you have an artist table? If I see you, how should I get your attention? Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
I'm not sure, tbh. I will be all over the place. I won't have any sort of table this year as I don't want my time to get bogged down by commissions. I will be fursuiting a lot, hanging out with
swiftkill, spaceweasel2306 zortiger and hopefully others! I plan to go to the art jams. If you see a pink and black floppy eared dog with a heart on the forehead running around just come up and give hugs.
Are there any panels you might be attending?
I want to attend the Females in the Fandom panel.. and other panels. I'd have to look at the booklet thing again.
What do you look like? What is your gender? Are you nice?
I'm have long dark blond/sandy brown hair, 5'3" likely in pink of some kind. I am female and I think I am nice?

I am hoping to do some free doodles and some trades or whatever. If I do art for someone it will be one of those. I don't want to get bogged down by commissions.

Can I talk to you? Can I touch you? Can I visit your room? Can I buy you drinks? Can I give you stuff? Can I take your picture? Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Please do talk to me! I try not to talk in suit though. Depends on the touching. Room visits probably depends on who you are and how the others feel about that. I don't really drink so probably not. Why would anyone give me stuff? Pictures and hugs are definitely a yes, especially in suit. Snuggles are only acceptable if you're a certain weasel. :D

Posted 11 years agoCENTRAL IOWA FURMEET PLANS NOW OFFICIAL!
The Central Iowa Furmeet for April will be Saturday April 19th, starting at 5:30 PM at Felix and Oscar's; 4050 Merle Hay Road Des Moines. Reservations are under "Central Iowa Furmeet" so when you arrive, you tell them that you're with the group and they will show you the room we will be in!
It will cost about $11 per person.
We will head over to Val Air Lanes; (100 Ashworth Rd. Wes Des Moines) at 8 PM and bowl until people want to leave (or until midnight, which ever). Val Air Lanes is about 8 minutes from the restaurant and will cost about $5 per game +$3 shoe rental.
So roughly $19 per person for the whole night (cheaper than last time!).

Posted 11 years agoThe free raffle is in terms of requests. You meet the requirements, show proof that you do in your response to this journal and you will be given a number. After a certain point I will randomly select two numbers, the individuals assigned those numbers are the ones that will receive the art!
Some information and rules on the drawing/raffle:
NO begging. Begging is something a long the lines of "PLS PLS DRAW MY FURSONA I DONT HAVE ANY ART OF HIM/HER I WILL LUV U FOREVER IF U DO" you won't receive a number if you do that.
Do not note me for this. Raffle inquiries MUST be posted to this journal. The only exception is if you happen to find out about the raffle and want to take part but don't use FA. You may contact me on dA and Weasyl (name is same as my FA one.)
Watching me is not a requirement but is appreciated.
You can put someone else's name in the raffle if you prefer but each individual person can only put in one request.
Reference of the character in question is preferred but I will go off a very detailed, organized description that I can follow easily.
The detail and amount of work I put into each piece will be varied and I can't give any particular details as to how it will look. Since it is free art, it's pretty much what I feel up for doing; As in, it might be a bust, it might be a full body, it might be a sketch, it might be fully shaded, it might be traditional, it might be digital.
I have commissions to finish so this raffle will last a while. I want it shared as much as possible.
I reserve the right to change/edit the rules and info to this raffle when and how I see fit.

The plans are as follows:
We will meet at the food court at the Southridge mall between 5 and 6.
Head over to the Old Country Buffet (this is our place of choice at this time, it may change.) to eat, hang out, chat, get to know each other, discuss the future of the group etc.
Around 8:30 or 9 we will head over to the Bowlerama Lanes for bowling.
We have a Facebook page with updates, chatting and more.
Also my fellow organizer, the most amazing spaceweasel2306 has made an awesome promotional poster for the meet! He did such an awesome job.

Des Moines Furmeet!

On Saturday February 8th a group of us are going to go meet up at the Southridge Mall in Des Moines around 5. From there we are going to head over to Bowlerama Lanes for some bowling and hanging out. Afterwards anyone who wants to attend can join us for an after bowling dinner at a place yet to be decided. Its encouraged to fursuit, bring hand held games, sketchbooks and other things you'd like to do or share as well as money for participating in bowling and buying food if you desire. Everyone is welcome even if you can only pop in and say hi!
I am driving down from Charles City, IA which is about 3 hours north of Des Moines, if anyone wants a ride I'd be happy pick you up!

When I was a teenager my brother had cancer and I know how the medical bills can rack up. With that said I want to help but I personally don't have the money right now. Maybe in about week I could.
