Otherwise, besides Illustration I have been working with a team on a game too. With the theme "What if Shining Force was made today?" So... well. Your gurl is doing Game Dev too! I hope in the future this means I can offer more simple animations, pixel art stuff, and other options for everyone :D It's been helping me improve in large strides, and I hope it continues onwards and upwards.

Hey there, everyone, as the title says I will be re-exploring and taking more lewd artworks in the coming days! In the past months, I'm sure you all know I shut them down for an extended period of time due to quite a few nasty self discoveries across an already stressful time with taking care of my dying father. After he passed I got to doing some soul searching, talking to professionals, and others who have been through the same thing regarding traumas and "locking up" when faced with them, and I've acquired some tools to help tackle those moments and eventually overcome them.

I've been tinkering around, and I still lock for a moment, but if I take a step back, and just look around, realize that I'm not back in that abusive space, I can move forwards on the projects with the lewd themes.

Now, I'm planning to start off a little easier, Pinups, nudes, Solo play possibly, hardcore themes I will discuss, but I cannot guarantee I can do the super lewds.

Why do I do this you ask? I'm a person that hates having a problem I can't fix, it absolutely bugs me to have some catch like this that doesn't seem to make sense in my own head. So naturally I want to be able to overcome and jump this hurdle, so to speak.

That and I figure it's better to tackle the discomfort of personal growth than the discomfort of another retail job, in a totally-shallow-money-talk way!

It's been quite a while since I've posted one of these, I will get better at building the habit in the coming days as I'm hoping to bring a bit more TLC to both here and Twitter in the coming months! I've noticed since I got back in business that my work has been all over the place, rather aimless and subjects can change dramatically, I would like to change that. Even if themes sometimes change I'd like to give you guys a little more of what to expect (Unless you prefer the insane chaotic neutral approach!).

I can't say much, but I have a big project I'm working on with a couple of friends that will make my art revolve more around fantasy and a mixture of human and animal designs. It aims to be streamlined, able to be re-created easily and animated, inspirations of games like Shining Force and Divinity: Original Sin 2 can give you an idea of what I'm going for.

There still will likely be some more modern or futuristic settings, but the streamlining of my workflow will be the same, likely looking a bit more comic like. There might be an occasional smattering of unrelateds here and there.

Hey there, everyone. I know I've been rather quiet lately, Mostly dealing with paperwork and trying to get everything back in gear and pick up where I left off. Thank you all for your outpouring of love and patience as we over here get through dad's passing. It's been a bit of a bittersweet experience, but, in the end we have to move on.

I promised him I would get immediately back to work and get all my stuff in gear. I have a whole bunch of artwork coming in the following days here, on twitter, ko-fi and other haunts. I plan on doing a mix of fur themed work, as well as design for Content Creators, like Emotes for Twitch, Logos or assets for youtube vids, etc. I also plan on expanding out to Vtuber avatars, 2d at first, and hopefully into 3d at some point. This is in the VERY VERY early stages, so it is likely to be awhile before there will be anything to show for it. I am eager to learn and grow though!

You also may see more dabbling in animation, another thing I'm tinkering with and planning on learning more. I want to really open up and explore for myself and for you all! These projects may be a bit scuffed as I figure out just what I'm doing exactly. Bear with me!

Otherwise, the big one. I am back into work. I will be updating my info across today and tomorrow, I am officially open for commission work. An average art piece goes for $160, about six hours work plus two revisions.

Hey there everyone, I know it's been a rough go lately, considering my previous posts, and I rather dropped off the map there for a short while. As you know my father was fighting stage 4 Lung Cancer, and it was just a matter of keeping him comfortable during the whole process.

He passed just about a week ago after a sudden downturn post Radiation Therapy.

Now, this is rather bittersweet. He's gone, but he's not hurting anymore, and near the end he refused hospice and I was doing round-the-clock care every two hours or so. It was my life for a while there, and now he has moved on, he, before his mind failed him, made me promise to continue working as soon as I could as well. I am just picking up the pieces now, and I likely will be for a while yet, with paperwork, and cleaning, and helping with all the lovely legalities of someone leaving this earth.

However, I plan on re-opening the doors on Clientwork, and hope to be posting more on the regular by the first of October. It will likely be a bit more varied, Pixel Art, Design, as well as the usual illustrations. I will also be studying some new things which I won't talk about until I can prove I can stick to them. Keep an eye out.

Hey there @everyone, I am here today to let you know of everything planned for the upcoming future. Now this post is going to be longer, so please bear with me. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer.

-What to Expect-
Due to my increased responsibilities with my father and the estate, I will be concentrating more on Brushpacks, Content Creation Assets, Emotes and some shorter term Commissionwork. Building more "Evergreen" content to lighten to workload in Active Clientwork.

I will take shorter commissions, but on a first come, first serve basis. I cannot confidently hold a queue at this current time. Currently my limit is about 3 hours per art "session", larger pieces that require more time are something I cannot confidently offer.

If a project is large in scope, but the assets are quick, such as a pack of Discord Stickers. I will be able to do those projects so long as you, the commissioner, are okay with a potentially unstable time frame. If there will be delays I will always notify you.
-Content Changes-
I am looking to merge both the content creation and furry business together. I cannot feasibly hold up both at once from my previous system structure and above mentioned responsibilities.

This means the content I post will likely vary moreso than before. As you may have noticed I also have been using PostyBirb and other post-schedulers to upload work in my stead while I am away from the computer. My responses may be slower, but I will ALWAYS answer messages and talk to everyone. You guys are important to me, This is still an open door for everyone should you wish to chat or otherwise.

Now I mentioned a change in content.
I will be no longer doing Adult Works (NSFW).

I will go as far as risque. Pinups, light nudity in exceptional circumstances. "Artistic nude" is okay. Safe bet, if it shows up in the works of Frank Frazetta, I will like be okay with it.

This is due to personal reasons. Recently I've begun to face significant trauma of sexual, verbal and mental nature that I've spent a very, very long time forgetting about. I will post a document below this message if you wish to read more. If you have any questions regarding anything, I am an open book.

-Why?-
Now, I don't discuss this much as I don't like how it changes people's perspective of me, but it's gotten to the point where I cannot ignore it. This is long winded, and heavy, but explains why I made such a drastic change

My father and I do not get along at all. He has always made sure we were fed, clothed, and housed, however he's got a narcissistic personality and likely some OCD in the mix there. We're either in the way, we do a project he asks us to do wrong, or even if we do it right, it's not good enough. Growing up he was a recovering alcoholic and a Cokehead with my mother, with schizophrenia and a pentient for emotional manipulation.
As a result I tend to be a bit of a doormat in the face of confrontation or even casual conversation. I have a tendency to attempt to overachieve and I frequently panic if I don't hit that mark. I have spent my entire life trying to solve people's problems before they even begin and it's gotten me into trouble before.

It's gotten to the point where if people raise their voices, even just getting loud spooks me. To the point where I will get mad or loud and scare myself on occasion.

This set a foundation as if we were too sensitive, we'd get told to stop being a little bitch. If we were too assertive, we'd get told to stop fucking arguing, sometimes followed by threats of physical violence. If we didn't put something back the right way we were useless, and if we did anything in error or dropped something we were a total fucking dumbass.

The constant verbal and mental abuse put on, combined with my mom always guilt tripping me into helping her do things, meant I tended to bend over backwards to make everyone happy. The last thing I wanted is more verbal abuse, or mom threatening to kill herself if I didn't help her again. Not to mention the struggle with schizophrenia she had meant her mind would "turn off" and there were times where she throttled me or got just as abusive because she just saw my dad in me. It turned off my own personal comfort zone and put in me a lot of dangerous situations. Stalkers, people putting hands on me and I wouldn't fight back, Multiple predatory grooming relationships in which I deluded myself into believing I cared or loved them. It's an absolute mess.


Now that I take care of dad too, and his mental faculties are shaky at best, I very very often get screamed at because he doesn't understand something, or he thinks I'm wrong when in the end I was correct all along. We've talked more about it, and he's more aware. We're both trying to find common ground but it's hard.
But, like I said earlier, he never left us wanting, so I plan on doing the same. Underneath all that he still cares. So I owe him a comfortable sendoff. Right now we don't know if it's six months or two years. He's got lung cancer that has spread everywhere, including the brain. He has not been able to lay down long enough for the radiation procedures so those brain lesions are going unchecked for now. We have no clue on timeframe. Poor guy.

It was like looking into a mirror.

Over the past month or two I've been waking up with nightmares, or having a song, or some other outside stimulus cause me to freeze. I will panic and lock down for a while until I can get a hold of myself. I keep getting moments where something will make me remember experiences that I. Well. I guess I forgot to remember. Suppressed maybe? I'm no psychiatrist.

All of them instances of sexual assault, verbal and mental abuse, and multiple relationships involving heavy grooming. After growing up with parents that I had to throw my own needs away to please, I wound up getting into a lot of really bad relationships when I grew old enough, and for a while, barely old enough to date for. A particularly bad one involved an in person relationship that turned into a long distance relationship. I remember being "required" to answer his daily phone call, and speak for hours while he poured on heavy sexual advances, roleplay and otherwise. At the time I was too weak to fight it.

Other ones include intense emotional manipulation, being required to never speak up, to never fight, to always wear something incredibly sexy, to go on video calls and do private strip sessions. I was never allowed to voice my discomfort. It got to the point where when people would put hands on me in public I wouldn't fight back. I remember a time this old man sat on the seat beside me on a bus, pressed me up against the wall with his hip and kept running his had up my thing while I read a book. I just. Couldn't say anything. I got myself into really dangerous situations down side streets surrounded by guys who had hands on me, and wouldn't let go until one of their friends with a brain told them to let off.

There's more, there's always more. I keep having things come up that I've apparently spent so long to forget, that it's immensely, immensely difficult to face anything sexual if it has to do with me. I am fine if I see adult work around, I am okay if it's not related to me, but the second I become involved in any way it becomes incredibly, incredibly hard to function.
Drawing adult work, or even just reading graphic descriptions is super, super hard for me. Graphic words and dirty talk just cause that full freeze, and the panic starts to kick in.

I'm not sure how deep this goes. Things are STILL unbruying themselves and leaving me to struggle with something I haven't thought about in a long, long time. It's like I've been walking along as normal, and suddenly I realized I'm in a minefield. I now need to learn how to navigate this on the fly.

For the foreseeable future, commissions will be closed. We have hit a snag in arranging for home nursing, as most agencies will not work with a specific drainage catheter dad has in his chest cavity. As a result, I have been trained by my stepmother of 15 years in cancer nursing to work as an ad-hoc nurse.

This means currently I will have very little time to manage extra projects for the time being. I will be continuing to post work, from Patreon or personal work, and doing my best to continue to be active, but for now clientwork and additional expansions are just not viable with the timeframe I have currently.

Sorry for the shock factor, everyone, but as the title says my father has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and aggressive spreading to other regions of his body. I have become a primary caregiver and am acting Head-of-Household for the foreseeable future. It's likely he has about Two Years and during this time updates may be slower or rather sporadic as I sneak them in between appointments and errands. As well as spending more time with him wherever we can

That being said, we are taking our obstacles one step at a time, but I am also bringing this up to reiterate that the show must also go on. Commissions and clientwork are still open. I plan on working on some emote, logo, and brush packs as well as additional goodies through gumroad, Patreon, Maybe some Teespring Merch-y things. For now though, I may be slower to reply, as real life has much of my attention currently.

Boy it's been a crazy busy start to the year. LOADS of works to do both client and personal! Going back to school for business has helped so much with scheduling, prioritizing, advertisement, and just about every facet of the whole behind-the-scenes thing.

That being said I've been studying hard at improving my drawing and painting skills as well, and come Monday I will be uploading quite a bit. I apologize for the Inbox explosion very shortly! Or look forward to it, depends on your outlook!

Other news, I have been working on three very large scale projects with clients. Hush hush NDA stuff, so progress has been a bit slower overall due to meetings, studies, and other gubbins, but we're moving right along.

First big step down! Everything is moved in, we are 98% settled. Have a couple day trips to Seattle to round out some stuff, but otherwise I will be back in business! This week is sort of half-days as I try to rest from all the hauling, but post that I will be working on more artwork, catching up on Patreon Monthlies, Clientwork, and I am also taking a home business and Freelancing course to improve my organizational skills! TIMEFRAME:

Firstly, I am almost ALWAYS Open. Generally I will give an estimate on Queues, my turnaround time and a rough estimate of when I can get a draft back to you. Usually it is no more than a week at the absolute tops, and very often quicker. If something happens that is unexpected I will let you know, OR you are more than welcome to ask of course! PRICING:
My prices are based on time-to-complete, and are an estimate of the time it would take to get a piece from drafting stage to a full finished piece. Pieces are all archived with a High Resolution and a resized image for posting, as well as the PSD workfile and a Timelapse of the work done.

On average a full piece takes about 5 hours, about $120 from start to completion, including all above.

WORKFLOW:

First we discuss what you would like done, share any associated references and describe what you want to the best of your ability. It's okay to leave bits open ended, just be aware that I will likely take some creative freedom in these places, unless it's integral to achieving your idea, in which case I will ask for further information.

I give you a time estimate, and often I can give a quote at this point. I work on a basic draft, or thumbnails to share with you and discuss changes, adjustments and direction of the final piece. Upon approval of a rough, I will work out a revised sketch.

If the revised sketch looks good I will prepare and invoice and ask for payment in half. I do not charge during the sketch phase to prevent keeping artist or client on the hook if something does not work out by any means.

Upon half-payment, I will work to complete the image, following up to make sure I have gotten colourings correct before final export. If all is good, I will ask for final payment and then I will release the full archive with everything included.
If there is an error, I will correct it at no extra cost. If there are sudden and significant changes at any point during the final process that are not discussed prior, I will have to charge accordingly to the time needed to put this addition in.

A piece is considered complete once full payment is received, and archive is sent out. I do not keep workfiles beyond two weeks, any edits beyond this point become time consuming and will require compensation.

I will paint just about anything, just ask!
I specialize in reptiles, but I work on a variety of creatures frequently. I love to do action and horror themed works personally, but if you check my gallery I've done adult works and others as well.

In terms of fetishes, I will not draw more extreme works. If you are unsure, please ask.

Hey hey everyone! It's been a couple of weeks since my last Journal so it's about time for a major update. As mentioned earlier I will be going Full-Time artist with a side project in Livestreaming and Designwork! I still have quite a bit to do, building a solid passive income, Work out insurance, plan for taxes, finish my ongoing list of commissionwork. The list goes on!

That being said uploads should be far more frequent, I should be able to open for work often as well! Keep an eye out for new work! I'm planning on trying to do some daily posting of all types, refined sketchwork, Graphic Novel-y, Painted, list goes on. Likely a bunch of fanarts and the pin-uppy things I had been doing prior! Right! So I mentioned in my last journal that work was not going to plan at all. The whole reason why I made the change was this job was supposed to be part-time in effort to bring myself more time for Arts and Design at home. That began to fall through rapidly after a co-worker quit on the spot. From there, the pattern began to emerge. Silently and conveniently forgetting our prior agreement on hours, and when confronted cited "Needs of the business" as the excuse.

Another thing that fell through was training. I was given none prior to the position, and thankfully I had worked a position similar so I had enough to go on. Thirdly, the big kicker, in spite of being told that all my paperwork came over, that my transfer went fine and without a hitch, I learned well after the fact that my employee numbers were never truly brought over to the new establishment, or not activated in the system. Which means I cannot log into any work system and do my job properly. Even bigger? It turns out I have not been paid for the past two weeks or so. Basically my entire tenure there so far.

Management is absolutely abysmal here, and I primarily took the job for the insurance. They knew I didn't need the money. So, I'm putting in my two weeks and I will be working at home full-time. Streaming, Clean Artwork and NSFW artwork.

I made a promise to myself, and I made a promise to my previous co-workers that when I leaped, I would make it. So, I'm gonna jump. This Night-Crew position is just holding me back.

Heavy stuff aside, I will be working on some foundation stuff, getting insurance covered, my passive-income up and running fully, and I shall be catching up on commissions. From there we shall see where it goes! I have a while before I can really start large projects still, but we'll make it! More to come!

Previous Journal Posting included! Well, the job I took that was supposed to be part-time didn't actually turn out to be part-time. The other Part-Timer quit and they very rapidly put me back up to full time.

I am continuing to watch what's going on and talking with them, but it's very likely I may be putting in for another job soon. There isn't any way I'm going to hold two full-time positions between a company and my home - work. The real challenge is getting something that legit is part-time, with just enough money to cover benefits, or provide some themselves, which is a hard prospect for non-full time positions.

C'est la vie. But hey, onwards and upwards! We'll make it. It'll just be a caffeine and painkillers trip until then! Will keep y'all posted and continue to post work when I can. Keep being awesome everyone!

Somewhat!

Many of those following know I had been working a job that kept putting more and more hours and work upon all of us in the Departments, essentially making it impossible to have any sort of life or achieving any major goals that we had personally. However, I recently took a job as Night-Crew, Part-Time guaranteed and have started taking on Artwork and Design Full-Time. With a full Queue it's likely a while before I can really open up again, but I'm excited! As I hope this means I'll be able to put out more work both commission and personal, instead of just bare minimums that I feel I've been doing this past year.

2020, and early 2021 has been immensely taxing, on us all. But hey, we made it this far, we can only continue pushing forwards! Looking forwards to improving and putting out more content for y'all and hopefully not being such a hermit as I've done in the past!

Right, so now that everything's rolling again I am able to do plenty of drawing and projects to hopefully bring more to y'all! I'm planning on painting some more for here, working on pixel work, and building up some animation skills as well on the side. Looking forward to sharing what I learn with everyone :) The silver lining of an extended injury means I will have significantly more time to work on painting and home-work here. The tradeoff? I've kinda dropped down the totem pole a bit at work, so while I maintain my benefits, hours will likely be rather short.

Hey there, all! Sorry everything's been slow and DRASTICALLY different. Without that PC things are kind of going at a slower, jankier rate. However, been taking a bit of a change in gears, pushing on improving some inky work, re-familiarizing with traditional tools in hopes of doing more come the return of digital work, and maybe.. maybe someday even doing some comic work as originally had planned months back.

Otherwise, Injury is healing, major foot sprain, but no permanent damage. Rather slow going, but lots of time to study and learn and grow! Hope to be able to bring some cool stuff this way after a lot of practice.

All things short, lots of study, likely some slower posts still. I haven't much in terms of proper equipment to upload super crazy high quality, which makes me rather sad, but hey, it shouldn't be too long. The 24th of this November is projected for the new computer, and likely shortly after that I'll be back in business~

The bad news... Comes twofold. Some of that additional art and study time is due to an injured foot/ankle. Likely a sprain. I'm going into the doc to get a more definite idea but from what we talked about it's very likely I'll be out of commission for a while doing anything particularly active.

Good news in between. This makes for lots of study time, so hopefully I can improve and grow and bring better artworks and maybe even get solid in Mandarin and correct all my broken Swedish!

Back around towards bad: After about Five years my workhorse computer has finally decided to kick the bucket. Though thankfully it was only the Hard Drive. I am out of a working rig until I can get a replacement. I will likely be studying and drawing traditionally for a while. I will still try to post what I'm working on, but it will very likely be different to what I tend to post. Traditional mediums, likely mostly life studies, I'm not sure how that's going to look yet, all I know is I plan on continuing to post, and figure out some way to make it look presentable.

Good news, I had planned for the event of a PC failure. I had already been saving up for an entirely new build, I was just hoping for Black Friday and the new tech releases to catch older gen hardware on discount, but I had to pull the trigger earlier rather than later. The new computer is well.. taking the nuclear option let's say. Assuming everything is in working order when I get it in it'll likely last me for quite a while.

Boy, what a rollercoaster. 2020 is nearing it's end, but boy it's going down swinging eh?

Whew, Something something 2020 crazy something something insane, eh?

Last journal update was... March, there's been artwork posting but otherwise I have achieved maximum hermit. Between work and schooling I guess my whole attempt at being social didn't work out too hot. I wanted to shoot off an update though that work might be letting up in the near future, and hopefully it means I can catch up on homework and post some more arts as well! Half of October passed me by without more than a handful of spookies to show for it. >:{ I'm going to try to change that.

More time also means more posts, more Patreon, and likely down the road opening up for some commissions. First things first though, I've got to dust everything off as it's been a while since I've drawn anything for more than an hour or two tops. Except for a few rare cases. Unless something really crazy happens, I'm looking to open up some slots for people by the start of November. Will let you know if anything changes, work is still rather tumultuous, but I'm hoping to at least get a LITTLE extra time to catch up on home endeavours!

Nevertheless, wishing y'all the best. I hope things are calming down somewhat, whatever this calming down looks like nowadays. Stay awesome, and catch y'all later! :)

Hey there all, just wanted to shoot out a quick update regarding my ability to continue to draw during the current Covid-19 panic.

I currently work Meat Dept in a retail establishment right in Northern Seattle area. There has been one confirmed case of Covid-19 in our store, two suspected ones, and half of our workforce is either out due to illness or extended leave of absence until everything blows over.
In attempt to minimize the amount of people in one area at any given time I have been moved to a Night Crew schedule with my morning team, and am pulling 11 hour shifts to get things filled in time before customers storm in and buy everything.

This means currently that I haven't been able to do much in forms of drawing, and much of my language studies have also taken a backburner until things calm down a bit. On the BRIGHT side it does mean We're in far less contact with other people during the most important time to practice social distancing! Oh and I can listen to my own music now too during shift. Silver linings.

I will still be checking in and favouriting things! Also will be in touch when I can be.

Righto! So good news comes in the form of my co-worker being much better now than they were before going through the holidays. The initial worry was she'd torn a rotator cuff and would have to have heavy duty surgery to get it repaired, but thankfully it was a matter of overworking an already irritated muscle and physical therapy worked WONDERS for her.

So, happy ending! No exploded arms or amputations, my buddy is good to go, and that means I'm back in the saddle drawing and studying more as well. This means hopefully I can get some more artwork done, upload more frequently, open up for commissions again and generally be a nuisance once more ;D

Hey there! First off no one's in danger, things are fine! At least considering the title. However a co-worker of mine suffered from a longer term injury in the workplace, and needs about a month or more to take care of the injury, potential "minor" surgeries etc. They will be okay! It does mean though that I will have less time to work on arts for the time being during work-weeks (About a couple of hours a day when I get home after language studies), so progress may be a bit slower!

To all who are expecting work from me: Chances are you are already aware of this slower development period, but just in case progress is a bit slower as well! I am still continuing to work on everything, and will still plug away at all your works too :) Thank y'all for bearing with me.

In other news, New Year has been nice, Easygoing home life, work finally chilling out a little bit, being a meat department during the holidays is no joke. Improving on arts, and started learning Mandarin Chinese as my two brothers wound up getting the idea of learning it between the three of us to have someone to talk to consistently. Cue my brains getting scrambled horribly just coming out of a Swedish Course and the introduction to re-learning Japanese. I will be a very very confused person for the next few years.
