As most/all may have heard. I was hit by a truck and have been stuck under doctor's care for a month and some weeks. Unfortunately that has kept me trapped on my back for a while. I was half way done inking some pages before the accident and haven't got much work done. I am in therapy until August 15th to get back on my feet and walking.

I'm sorry I had to put MoF on another haitus. The official date I KNOW I'll be able to update for sure will be either Sept 2nd or Sept 15th.

It makes me upset that someone else's lack of proper road rules and observation has put me at a stand still with my art and my job...but I'm just glad I'm alive and all that came from this accident was a laceration at the ankle.

Yeah.....I'm behind...Due to job searching and moving out of college and final exams, I haven't had time to work on comics and major projects. Hopefully over the next few weekends (in June) I can stream some comics on Fridays and Saturdays.

What are your thoughts on the Second Episode?

First off: Thank You everyone for being patient with me. I often forget my upload schedule and the fact that pages remain unfinished.

Second: Pages remain unfinished. I was gonna work on it over Christmas but I got sick. I won't express details but I was bedridden for 7 hours.

Third: Regretfully that means that I will not be able to finish Episode 2 like I planned this year. I have the files but simply no time to work on them in the next 5 days.

Fourth: Its not all bad news coming: Episode 3 has been pencil sketched up to page 6 and will be formatted a bit differently than episodes 1 and 2.

I fixed and finished 2.17 and will be posting that shortly. Still Inking the last 3 pages. Since the Ice week and Finals bouncing around, things have been off course...of course the late Thanksgiving didn't help but anyway. The words through the last page are inked. Neither do I. If I don't get a job in December then it'll get easier to update. As far as my Thanksgiving plans...I've got too many homeworks to do...3 Papers, A book, 40 Sketchbook doodles, and my portfolio. So yeah...no free time til mid December. Also I had an error with page 2.17 and thats why I didn't get to upload it. I won't get a chance to edit it for a while.

Pages 2-16 and 2-17 will be uploaded sometime this week. There is the off chance that I can work during Thanksgiving but we will see. I promise that I will start Episode 3 this year. Thank You for waiting patiently and I'll meet with ya soon.

If I manage my time, homework, and sleep right, I may do double updates for the remainder of Episode 2. Considering I have until December to start working and inking Episode 3...this should work for everyone.

I promise I'm working on the comic for those of you who are interested. I've been in the transition from pen and pencil to digital; its supposed to take less time but...I have to sketch out the pages in pencil and then scan em to my computer then layer out the different panels in Sai. Its a mess right now and I'm trying to figure it out. So while I beat my head against the table for missing 3 updates, please accept this letter of my sincerest apologies.

Dear 'Masks of Fate' Readers,

I am sorry to say that I have missed out on the May 15th, June 15th, and July 15th comic updates. I had somewhat of an excuse for May and June due to the move and A-Kon 24 (not much of an excuse but hey), but the fact that I have not caught up for July is unacceptable. I have no idea how I'm gonna make it up to everyone. If you have suggestions, that may help, because I am alive and am working on the sketches for page 16 of Episode 2...I've just been out of it. I may have a contest for Episode Cover Designs in the future, I dunno. But I feel terrible for not updating like I should.

After I move, things'll be calm....ish. So I will get back caught up on updates. Sorry for being so busy busy inactive.

I'm caught up in alot of stressful things currently and...haven't had any time to scan and edit pages. Scanner is packed away and I've had to move from college and now working to move to the apartment...all the stress of what went down earlier this week. I need some time to get back on my feet. I will try to have something up (Page or Story) before I leave for A-Kon.

Don't worry. I'm outlining Page 11 as we speak...er Type. I'm hoping to get two outlined a month to my one upload a month schedule. Hoping to get finished with Episode 2 by Next Year...jk. My self due date for Ep 2 is June 15th if I can. By that point I will be moving.If I can learn to draw out my ideas faster then maybe I can have 3 started in July.

And thats the Update :)

Around March 9th to March 15th I get a break. And IF I'm not working on my secret project, then I will be updating the comic and if I forget then I'm on Time Out from My Tablet. Thats my motivation and I'm sticking with it!

Things will be slow as of late. I decided to keep both FA and Weasyl updated with the comic but things will run slow when school starts. So I may bunch upload once a month depending on how much work I have in classes and how fast and well I can work.

I know this Thursday is a comic day but finals and stuff get in the way...of eeeverything...so 1 next week and 2 on Christmas

Yes, now that Episode 2 has began and I'm still ahead, I will be returning to the 'Every other Thursday' Schedule.

1-...I'm still outlining pages 7 and 8 and drawing page 9. I'm not sure if this episode will go like episode 1 because I actually planned the whole episode out along with episode 3. I'm not gonna wing it like ep 1; more so that I'm gonna let it flow out instead of connecting the dots in the dark.

2-I'm gonna try my best to get to at least page 13 by Christmas...if not by Dec. 27th. But when December comes around I'm gonna have Finals, packing to leave for the break and 'The Book of Masquerade' to put together. Then January I'm going to be working on a video project...no details yet but I will say this: You get to hear me get mad at videogames.

3-I have this planned for like...16 episodes so I'm trying to work good and fast.

I'm behind on dA pages...shhhh

The intro to Episode 2 will arrive in 15-20 Hours :D

And at Mori's Request....I'm back to writing more stories...namely part 4 of the Villains Tales and the beginning of a certain mousey's story.

So If I'm not drawing or in class...or sleeping, I'm writing :D

The Episode 2 Cover will be uploaded on the 15th of this month, then on Thanksgiving I'll put up the first 2 pages.

~The title is a not so clever pun on the phrase "Easy Does It"

~There will be an introduction of 2 new characters

~I make the sudden realization that Masquerade and D-Claw have more in common than I thought :/

Its Thursday. Its the one year anniversary of me starting this project so I'm gonna do it.

Fun Facts(I probably said some of these already):

~Yuzu isn't a pure bred German Shepherd. She is actually part G-Shep, part Chihuahua, and the rest is a European Mystery. IRL She is actually mostly Norwegian with a mix of German, Spanish, Polish...just a mystery bloodline.

~Mori was originally going to be a Wolf but as we spent time together her nature as a mouse began to show.

~Yuzu was originally going to be the main villain but due to real life events (e.g. Both Mori and Yuzu always double teaming on me) I decided to be the main villain.

~Lore and Hibiki are semi-characters, meaning that they were (and may still) be based off of real people, but due to events (Yuzu and Lore no longer being mates and Hibiki and I no longer being mates) they are mostly minor characters.

~Coal isn't based off of anyone (yet). He was originally going to be a Red Panda but just to tease Mori I made him a Panther.

~Jezero has her character design mostly to be insanely unique, partially because I chose such a common species and common fur color.

~Tux was always going to be a Penguin but I was always in the dark about Kooky. I wanted her to to be a Arctic based critter and Kooky wanted to be big enough to smoosh others, so I made her a Polar Bear cause both our favorite kinds of bear is Polar Bear.

~Mori makes due with her book shelves in her room but constantly wishes that she had a huge library of her own.

~Mori dislikes anyone touching her feet/paws.

~Despite her feline nature, D-Claw isn't afraid of heights. She does, however, easily get insanely sea-sick.

~Yuzu has a secret talent which will be revealed in later episodes...it should be obvious if you know Yuzu well.

~Episode 2 is set to be very slapstick humor.

~Episode 3 is the pinnacle of my expression practice.

~This project is the result of toying around with an art dare.

~Tux and Kooky weren't actually going to be D-Claw's henchies; She was originally going to have a Coyote henchman that was based off of a cross between Hibiki and my old old old old old old fursona.

~I decided to pull my friends into this after needing personalities to base the characters off of.

~There are a grand total of about 25 characters set for this saga of the comic.

~ jezero has the blueprints for the next saga of this series. She is in charge of that saga while this one is in my control.

With Midterms coming up...I hope that I can do so.
