First off Merry Christmas y’all, for those that celebrate it. It has been a hectic second part of 2022 for burr. I bought a new vehicle. It's an SUV. It came just in time for my area to experience its first blizzard since 1978. It handles like a dream in the cold, ice, and snow. Points off in high wind though, felt a bit like a sail on the highway. I also picked up a new job, doing what I love. Fixing computers and networks. I.T. for life. This brings me to this, I don’t think I will be opening commissions ever again. To quote my spirit machine Baymax “I am not fast.” when it comes to drawing. So it’s really not worth my time or money to draw them. Especially when I want to draw things for myself, and I want to draw big butts.

I think this is like the first time I’ve done one of these. Back in May, I was in an accident that gave me a closer brush with death than I would have liked. I’m still in rehab for the injuries sustained. This experience has changed me in a way that I believe is for the better. I’ve reevaluated everything and asked one simple question “Does this spark joy within you?”
Those familiar with the Mari Kondo books will be aware of this saying. I’ve cleared out my Steam, Blizzard, and Discord accounts with this as my mantra. To those that are no longer there, I know you spark joy in others. Keep on, doing what you’re doing. To those still around, thank you for being there. I will still draw butt since that does spark joy within me, just a bit slower than before.
