Capitol Bells is a new app that has been made for the Iphone and is going to also be ported over to the Android. Basically it is a program that taps into Congress' voting process and allows the voters to actually be involved, to see whether congress actually pays attention to its people and not themselves. For those of you who were born probably in the 1990s or earlier. Im sure you though that we would have things like flying cars and a world peace movement where everyone was fine and dandy, where we would be going up into the stars and looking at how the universe works.

But I want you to look at this number right here, and tell me what you think.
2013

In a few short months it will be 2014, in six years from then, it will be 2020. Is what we have now, what we experience today what you wanted? In regards to world events of course, is this the future that you wanted or expected?

I'm asking because I never really thought about the years. I was born in the early 90's and I thought that honestly we would all be happy and working together to make everying a good place. I will admit i knew nothing or religion, politics, or even policies around the world at the time, but I honestly thought that we would work together to make the world a better place to achieve goals.

And with the recent scandals, the world realization that the people may finally be able to move forward, do you think we can have a future for ourselves, where we don't have to fight every single day to get it, where we have the ability to reach our hand out to help another person, to give them a bowl of food, to be able to go out and see the world without a problem?

Blah Im getting into rambling again and losing the point I was trying to make. What I'm saying is that in ten years from now, with regards to the latest scandals do you think that we can have a future that you yourself would want? Or are we lost to the point where we have to fight every day of our lives to achieve a goal.

Been a bit busy with work and stuff, i guess its time to post yet another raffle journal, even though i really do hate posting these kinds of journals all the time. There seems to be massive movement happening in Turkey, if you are in Turkey, please be safe. The government is apparently attacking peaceful protesters who are trying to save one of the last parks in Istanbul. If you live in Turkey, please help people who are in need of assistance. Also it appears the government of the country no longer supports the people there and only cares about corporate interests and unlawful activities, and imposing a religion on a secular country.

Police are also attacking protesters with tear gas canisters, pepper spray, rubber/plastic bullets, and cornering people to arrest them. I will be unable to update you on information, so follow the link below. If you can happen to do anything to help that would be amazing.

What do you guys think of this laptop? Any good? Also im gonna hold off on buying somthing like this for a few months, if this laptop cannot get fixed then whatever. So my birthday was okie, not great, not awesome but okie. Went to see iron man 3, it was okay. Really, just... okay. I dunno what to take from it in the end. They could always bring out MODOK right? Update on the laptop: its a bit worse than i thought, the harddrive kinda went spaloogy and poof, i got my original laptop from 4 years ago fixed. Yet it might turn out that all my files may or may not be salvageable. Meaning, i have no idea what is saved, and what is not... This includes art and commissions I have recieved over the past 3 years that i may never have copies of again, even if i have shared them with various people... There are files i decided not to share because i didnt think much of it at the time. Also stories, game files, and various other things may also be lost. I have no idea. I'm going to sleep on this and find out tommorow. If anyone can contact me in notes about commissions and all that from years ago that would be awesome... But Dont note me until i say it is indeed fucked, i dont know if it is, so I'll let you know when it is fucked XD

The hardrive did go POOF, it's fucked in a way, and im giving a friend 100 dollars to add in a 250 GB harddrive to it with ALL of the information backed up on it. The information has also been salvaged, so thankfully everything is fine. I expect to be back up and online later this weekend with my laptop, AFTER putting the essential programs on it that will protect my computer. Un sure about the other programs but as far as i know, the computer is fine. :3

How are all of you doing today? Do you guys wanna talk? Anything you need help with?

Should i leave the laptop in the hands of my friend who may have the resources to fix the laptop for free??? Or should i go to a highly accreditted and cheap place to fix my laptop while also giving money??? I need answers ASAP. My first priority is the safety of my files, and then the second priority is to get it fixed... what to do.

I just dunno what to do, the thingy came up, like the main screen for windows 7, but it just isnt opening up anything else, i can move the mouse and i just dunno what to do... Please just help me, i dont know anything about computers. and i know im panicking. i know i shouldnt be but this sucks, if i cant get shit done i wont be able to finish finals and talk to people and everything. D: this SUCKS... i need to get my files...

In other news, im using another computer to get back to you, my main laptop sucks now, so tell me what i should get in the 300 to 500 dollah range that can play Guild Wars 2 and Skyrim without problems, not on Ultra graphics though, thats a bit too... much... but i also want to have 100 to 200 GB, and have RAM that is good. I also want to play minecraft and stuff but that doesnt matter. I also need help in figuring out how to save my data. any clues?

also if you wish to help me out thats fine. i do have money in paypal but it isnt much, and im trying to find a way to transfer it all to my bank account, seeing as how it messed up my card number x.x but thats a story for another itme... thank you guys and gals for your help

And here you go, coming into the journal to look for free stuff. WHICH YOU WILL FIND HERE, but that doesn't matter. What I am going to talk about though is the point behind raffle journals and why I join them compared to others. \/ And then I'll point to the raffles, which are below \/

When I join a raffle, I don't just join it to take a spot in something that will easily be forgotten about but would help to feed some sort of inflated ego like some people around this site, and if the person who I know is looking in this journal is here reading this, they will see and understand that I am indeed talking about them.

Raffles are a way for me to get art and help myself move around the site, making friends and getting to know people along the way. They are also a way for me to get art where I would not have the money at the time to spend, and I do indeed have money. I also pick and choose which ones I would like to join because joining every single one you see can be wrong. But I have other priorities than art, such as that of an apartment or even college books/classes. When faced with little to no money, and also faced with a situation where you can get something, why not take that chance. But that doesn't mean you should be an ass about it when you join in.

When you do win the raffle, you feel a sort of happiness, but then you come across that one person who joins every single free thing they see, not caring one way or another about the others participating. When you win, you take what you get, you do not demand for more, you do not make the artist feel like they are in a place where they feel trapped with little to no choice than to give in to your demands, and you do not ask for more than what you already have. That is wrong, it is bad practice, and it will get you nowhere because someone will eventually catch onto your little game and call you out on it. I understand some things may sound hypocritical since I am saying it, but there is a point behind this, which I will get to now.

Treat others with respect, do not allow yourself to be taken in by the greed of getting art or goods. Allow others to have that one chance to win, where they feel like things will be so awesome for them and they might even get the first art of their character ever. When you have a load of art, like myself, you need to sit back and let others have that chance, otherwise you will come across as an asshole. You don't want to be that one person who will join everything, win 3 to 5 things in one week and out of some sort of inflated ego, ask for more inside that prize. So make sure to treat others with respect, these are not just usernames behind an icon, these are people who want to have that one chance to win.

In the meantime though, I'm going to delete various journals that are ages old. I don't want to be that person who joins in every single journal just because it's there. I join it because I want to see how it turns out. I want to see if I can make any friends through this. And I also want to make the point that raffles are supposed to be fun and where you meet people to socialize at times, admiring each others ideas. In the meantime, have a wonderful day everybody.
