To me and any others who share the day. Had a fine day, winding down after dinner to fiddling with a new mouse. I've been wanting to draw again, but haven't found a will to; i lost that muse ages ago. so i'll ask two things here, one: any ideas of how to break that, and two: any places you know of with good tutorials, resource, tips, etc.
I was planning on dipping into Demicoeur's art PDF, but didn't have the money then. hopefully she releases another date they can be purchased.

In light of me feeling rather artsy lately, i've decided i want to draw less.... generic pictures, in the sense that i have just been making furs out of poses and they look pretty plain.

So! thats where you people (who actually will read any of this) come in! Dump a ref, character name, species, etc. below and i'll pick and choose some. If you would want a sketch and don't have a ref, drop the same things here, and send me a note with a character description and i'll look it over.

So, as the title states, i've got good news, bad news, and neutral news for any watchers who want to read this. What should i start with? well, let me do a quick poll.... alright, well, it was undecided, so i'll give you the good news, neutral news, and the bad news; in that order.



First up, the good news.
I've decided to do more drawing, and i did a bit more... my scanner is still non-existant so, i don't really feel like posting anymore crappy pics, but things are happening and when we get toner for the scanner, pics will be uploaded.

Now the neutral news.
A friend of mine, whom i did a sketch for, has apparently liked my work and believes that i'm good enough to work on commission art... i personally don't think so.




Now for that horrible, horrible news.
That same friend has set forth a challenge on grounds of, see what happens... so i'm opening commissions for those that actually want to have me draw their character.

I came home tonight and well... can't say it was really anything near what i was hoping for....
My oldest dog died, he was old, pretty sure around a year less than myself.
I'm fine myself, i understand that he honestly was old and showed obvious signs of being near the end
but, my mother is further stressed, my father stressed because she is stressed... just effing wonderful.

Checked into the hotel and everything Thursday, leaving tomorrow.... and of course, internet wasn't free in-room.... and i was quite honestly, not going to be the one drawing what i have on my list in the lobby.

So, i won't have the art done for monday (since i'm going to be.... 'enjoying' a 14 hour drive back) i'll be keeping the list up and actually getting stuff done, hopefully within the next week

So, in light of me going on a trip and actually deciding to force myself to do some art, i'm actually going to open slots for requests, not just my usual "oh yeah, i'll maybe do them" sort of thing.

So, after a rather extended period of next to nothing art wise, i had an idea on my way home, sketched it out quite quickly, and began it later... i think it turned out crap but, then i started on a random character, looks rather feline.

I kinda want to know how to draw taurs properly, but i also need to work on stuff like proportions, body shape, etc. so if anyone has or knows of tuts that could help for drawing taurs, that would be awesome, otherwise.

To wrap this up, what would you all think of the pre-pose sort of thing, but for requests? would you be in or just kinda meh (because its me, and nods some other artist, who is awesome) about it?
