Yar, that's right. I'm moving over to  steampossum cos I'm lazy and don't feel like emptying my gallery, and I don't plan to. In fact, I plan to use this account from now on to post the occasional inflation art or whatever. The new account either won't have any, or after awhile I'll post it in scraps. :V

I love how these people were protesting obama's "tyranny" on the fifteenth of a three percent tax hike.

When the british empire was at it's apex of power, they killed 30,000,000 Indians, took over half the world, tortured, and killed anyone who disagreed with the government, and enstated sky high taxes that left people dirt poor, by 1700s standards. (No offense or insult intended to current residents of the UK, this is simply an example to make a point)

Sweeeet. I finally got a pocket watch! I've wanted one for years, but could never find/ afford one. It's quartz movement instead of mechanical, but hey, it's a pocket watch.

I think I figured out another reason I suck at riding this thing apart from inexperience,and why the people with the original style bikes seem to be able to start and stop easier.

My wheel is a 36" tire.The older style ones have a five foot tire, which means that it doesn't have to go as fast to stay stable. I figured that out when I remembered my toy gyro. it had to spin really fast to stay upright.

This really has nothing to do with anything, and it's aboslutely pointless, I just felt like sharing.

In other news: Once my knee heals, I'm gonna try some of the techniques I've found on youtube that people use to mount and dismount. After I get those down, riding it shouldn't be hard. Also, I'm gonna practice in a grassy park from now on. Concrete hurts and I want as little crashing into it as possible :V

But I consider it a small victory! Considering this is my first bike (lol yes, I'm a fag who never really learned to properly ride a bike :C )I only fell once, and scraped my knee, but that's the total of all the injuries I've received so far. After numerous failed attempts I managed to mount the damn thing (You try scootering a bike and jumping onto a seat higher than your waist!) I managed to get on and stay on for a few seconds. I'm getting better at catching myself when I fall, too. not bad for twenty minutes.


I'm surprised I haven't nutted myself getting onto the seat.

I'm getting a Pennyfarthing bike. Not just planning on it, my dad has one that he got from a company whose bikes he sells. He could never sell it cos it was thought to be broken, it works fine, we drug it out and my brother test rode it.

With rap and country? Why does everyone seem to hate JUST those? I mean, yeah, modern rap pisses me off, and country is depressing a lot of times, but I mean hell, look at the "old skool" rap. Digital Underground, Run DMC. that was Good stuff. I'm not biased towards either of them, I hate the "gangsta" ©rap and the really depressing country songs that're so popular today. I just think a lot of people seem really closed minded. The Way I see it there is no genre I hate or dislike in it's entirety. I believe Every genre has at least one song I like, even if I haven't heard it yet. I like some classical, some country, some rap, some folk, ska, punk, rock, metal (not much), and so on.


Sorry, just felt like ranting.

2009 isn't starting off too good. My rat died last night. actually, I had to put him down myself... I couldn't watch him choking on his own fluids anymore. I waited until I knew he wouldn't recover. I did it as painlessly and humanely as I could. He spent the night in the freezer until we could bury him today.

Oh, and on top of that, we may be evicted by the end of the week. The manager of the apartments warned us that a three day aquit notice is coming soon.

no idea what'll happen to our stuff.
