Posted 13 years agoalright. to my Ballroom family. weather you are from AM or the UM team. i owe you my life. Ballroom is the one thing that keeps me alive. years ago in senor year of high school, i was suicidal. everyday i wanted to die before i found dance. when i found dance i found a calling. a way i could express myself. something i was good at. to this day, i know that if i hadnt found dance or was dancing today i would not be on this earth. probably would of thrown myself in front of a truck. so to every single person whom i have danced, will dance with, and have danced with. you are such a big part of my life. you might not know it, but you saved me.

Rose's Reference sheet
Posted 14 years agoAppearance: Rose is a Fox, appearance is Bright Red-Orange. her fur is a bright red-orange except for the front starting under the nose and going down to her paws. Fur length is medium in length. Canines are not visible when mouth is closed. Height is 5'4''. Black nose, eye color is Bright green. The tip of her tail matches her underbelly fur. Hands are human like, but have paw pads and claws (very sharp). Can be digitigrade or plantigrade (doesnt matter to me, if an artist is better at one than another, ill let them do what they do best), if plantigrade, still has paw pads and claws.. The ears are fox-like, and they are red-orange on the outside. hair is mid-neck line and is bright orange-red. She has a small, compact dancers body.
Clothing & Accessories: when she and Engel are outside the studio, shes often found in a tight fashionable leather jacket, with a white low cut tank top below it. she wears fitting light blue jeans. sneakers are the shoe of choice. when shes on the floor she is often found in a long flowing black dress with the midriff exposed, sleeveless, and rhinestoned all over the upper body. with that dress she wear some cream colored heels, 3.5'' her jewelry consist of the piercings on each ear, three orange gems in the back of her neck. Besides the three cartilage piercing, she wears either green gem or hoop ratings. She also has a thin necklace with a ring on it.
Personality and Behavior: She is often full of energy and is almost never seen without a smile. she loves to be held close to Engels chest when dance routines and forms start to stress her out. her personality and her manner off dress do not really coincide all that much. despite the more exposed manner of dress she is very careful when it comes to relationships. Engel has been the only one so far not to break her heart and wait for her to become comfortable. she is quite forgiving to her friends and is quite willing to fight for those she loves.
Abilities/powers/skills:she, much like Engel, is a phenominal dancer, she discovered Engel fresh out of school and taught him everything he knows. she has some hypnotic powers that are as of yet largley undiscovered.
Other info: Rose is based off a mixture of women i have met in my life and i based her off the most memorable features from them.

Fur length is medium in length, spikes all over . Canines are visible even when mouth is closed. Height is 6'. Black nose, eye color is brown with green flecks to them. Hands are human like, but have paw pads and claws. Stocky build, has a smaller barrel chest. he is also decently muscled. The ears are wolf-like, and they are silver on the outside.

He is also very common to find him in a pair of black latin dance pants, a nice white button up shirt and vest or a tight black botton up shirt. though its not unheard of to find him in a pair of flip-flops or barefoot. wears dog tags often as well as a gold ring thats been passed through the family. for hotter weather, he can often be found in white and blue bermuda shorts, a button up shirt, left open with no shirt beneath. all of these he has the sleeves rolled up to the elbows.
Personality and Behavior: thinks alot about what is going to happen next in life. he has alot of energy, though if you ask him how he is feeling its not uncommon to hear him reply that he is tired. he dosnt sleep much due to his life style. he can be pretty fiery as well. he is quick to jump up and let people know that a line has been crossed, either with himself or someone else he cares for. he has been known to jump into a fight before. he works hard on keeping in shape, spending plenty of his time in the gym and on the dance floor. he is able to shrug alot of lifes problems off. he has been known to spend large amounts of time on the floor, working on just one move and getting it perfect. its fairly common to find him inwardly smiling with a goofy half smile, its also the same one you see right before he fights (the difference is before he fights, he licks his teeth). He can be a bit cocky, but its usually in a joking manner.

Posted 14 years agoI'm new to FA. found out about this whole community thanks to a friend who is also a part of this site. i have been a fan of the art that i have found through random internet browsing over the years. so i guess i should get to the point of this journal and say hey!
